In japan there were two serial killers who had an actual war of words in the press dueing the 90's. One was the infamous "Otaku Killer" who received 6 death sentences for killing little girls, and the other was a maniac who went on a random killing spree that claimed four lives. The latter was fame hungry and said that he wanted to become known as "the new otaku killer" which drew a direct response from the former who sent a letter to a tokyo newspaper in which he expressed his disgust towards the other man both for his "foolish boasting" and because he'd never had a forensic psyche eval showing that he was actually anything more than "an idiot with a knife".
I'm connected to two famous killers. I worked in an emergency room, the same one as Charles Cullen. He was a nurse who is suspected of killing hundreds of patients. We worked there different years, but I was working there when the news broke. I asked a nurse if she remembered him, she said "Remember him, when I had my baby, he bought me a crib." I could not imagine knowing my baby slept in a crib bought by a serial killer. I also when I was in high school, a girl from my schools father was killed by the Unabomber. He was a mail bomber, and sent packages out with explosives in them
Criminals admiring criminals like Dennis Rader and Dana Sue Gray is a high-danger level of unhealthy idol worship. What happened to looking up to everyday heroes like firefighters or postal service workers?
You folks should do a video about Ann Rule! She's the author of The Stranger Beside Me, The I-5 Killer, and Small Sacrifices among many other true crime cases. Ann was an ex-cop who volunteered on a Crisis Help Line WITH Ted Bundy, hence the title of her book about him. Ann also wrote Small Sacrifices about Diane Downs who shot her kids, killing one and permanently injuring the other two, because her boyfriend didn't want children. There's an Oprah interview with Ann Rule and Diane Downs (appearing from prison) and Ann absolutely destroys Diane. Randy (Randall) Woodfield was the I-5 Killer and he gaslit Diane Downs! They wrote tons of letters back and forth, Diane even started to plan a wedding for her and Randy. When the newspapers got wind of the 'engagement' Randy turned around and said "Diane who? Never heard of her." 🤣🤣
Watchmojo is a Canadian website but you ignored two of Canada's most infamous killers, Paul Bernardo and Russell Williams. They knew each other while students at the University of Toronto's Scarborough campus.
I know this sounds weird because obviously they're all terrible people, but I can notttt stand Dennis Raider. He's not only a horrible human who hurt many people...he's also a huge fucking douche bag and somehow that makes it worse.
Kenneth Bianci may have been the Alphabet Killer from Rochester NY. He lived in the area at the time of the killings, which also stopped around the time he relocated to Los Angeles.
I think Arthur Shawcross being the Rochester alphabet killer is who makes the most sense, shawcross killed 2 kids and then after prison just completely changed his victim type for no reason? Makes more sense that he realised he’d screwed up somewhere in those murders kinda like ted bundy knew he’d screwed up with the bite mark- idk why shawcross wasn’t considered more thoroughly, with DNA being so easy to work with now surely there’s some way to reopen the Rochester alphabet killers cold case?
The first sentence in this video is quite clearly arguable - As there is this dude called Samuel Little who ended 93+ lives. Ridgway is known for "only" 48. I wouldn't call Gary "the most prolific" in terms of numbers, in this case. In no way do I mean to make light of the horrors these people inflicted - But it's baffling how the data is out - And people still do get their facts so utterly wrong, regarding serial killers..
My Grandma and great Grandma met Ted Bundy once in a Denny’s. My Grandma thought he was nice and good looking but my great Grandma thought he was creepy. A few years later he was convicted of kidnapping in Utah and subsequently murder in Florida.
Weird, my Grandma talks about how my Papa’s Mother (Her Mother-In-Law, my Great Grandma) worked with Ted Bundy at a local grocery store as security. My Great Grandma was known as “Ms. Cash” and she was training Bundy. Apparently, this was during his killings. Very chilling. Edit: The grocery store was in Seattle, I don’t know what store it was.
this was a really compelling video/subject. i have studied and read true crime books since i was a teen, including books about most of the people featured in your video. but i never knew they were connected. creepy stuff but again, fascinating.
I don’t think O’toole killed Walsh. Maybe he did. But how could anyone trust a word he said? So many false confession. It pains me the family accepts it. I would have needed more proof. I hear Dahmer was baptized the same day Gacy was executed.
Another serial killer Gacy is connected to is Dean Corll, aka The Candyman. Gacy is noted as having been inspired by Corll's murders and in fact sought to outdo the latter's body count, which he did. There was even a book written about Corll among Gacy's belongings after his arrest.
the most interesting to me is the connection with dahmer and toole. knowing both of their cases and situations and then the adam walsh situation is crazy.
That "provide a tip" thing made me chuckle. In a time and world where tragedy, accidents and senseless violence take center stage, sometimes the only way to retain any sense of hope or humanity is by finding a little humor even in the darkest of subjects...well, that is the message I'm trying to convey, but I'm not too good at putting it into words. Maybe someone else reading this rambling comment could better describe it...
@keiragalaise6435 I get what you’re saying…Sometimes people chuckle at “dark humor” not because they find the topic comical. There’s several reasons. Typically, it’s a coping mechanism. Or it could be at someone’s comment or the way it was said. Therefore, to concur with what you said; in a world where tragedy and accidents are consistently within our sight 24/7 you’ve got to try to find some sort of way to chuckle at things not be constantly utterly depressed. Such as being in public service (firefighters, leo, ems, etc) we see the worst of the worst on a daily basis. If not for satire and dark humor we’d probably be insane lol.
@@danielmorgan8303yeah but you see the problem with the last part that you said is dude openly admitted to it and his cousin was the actual shooter. He had brought the gun though I believe. His cousin is dead they both are part of a gang and you know how it goes in that life. So if they can't charge his cousin with the murder they're going to charge him with it and he was there in the car that night and he didn't tell on his cousin so he has to face the consequences because let's be real ain't no statue of limitations on homicide. Lol
No Facebook, no MySpace, not snapchat. Just a bunch of people with similar interests living in the moment looking for a platform to share their hobbies.
@@DepezPoopsieI never looked into Gecht but Corll's crimes are absolutely evil. Edited: I have read about 'The Ripper Crew'. That's pretty disturbing stuff too. I think the most alarming thing about these crimes is that Gecht and Croll found people who were like minded and / or could persuade others to commit horrifying crimes.
@@Skygrey2943 I recently did a project on Corll and this potential connection fascinates me. Especially because of what it implies about larger criminal networks of this type.
@@bloojerseyy Yeah? That sounds really interesting. I've only briefly read a bit about it. What creeps me out is that these networks, spanning across state lines, existed long before the internet. Did you glean any insight into the subject?
Richard Ramirez and Jack Unterwger, both stayed at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles and even committed murders there. Their stays were a few years apart, but it's interesting to think that two killers both stayed at a hotel with a reputation for violence.
Bundy didn't give any useful insight on the Green River cases, that's just part of the mythos around him. He may have been interviewed by the investigators but it didn't provide anything useful.
Personally I think Ed Kemper is one of if not the most interesting case. He killed, felt zero remorse. Then he "found the cause of his aches" his mother, killed her, took proper revenge in his mind and then all of a sudden, knew what he had done was wrong. He knew he had murdered several innocent people and deserved to be locked up for it. So he called the Police and turned himself in. He even had a chance for parol, in which he even declined.
Not a serial killer but a sexual predator connected to a sexual predatory serial killer when it comes to Brian Peck being a fan and pin pal to John Wayne Gacy.
Supposedly Jack the Ripper was actually an American Serial Killer, H.H. Holmes. Holmes was active in Chicago in the late 1880s with his infamous Murder Castle near the 1883 Chicago Worlds fair. His murders stopped for a short time, while he was in London. While Holmes’ murders were stopped, Jack the Ripper was active in London. When the Ripper murders stopped, Holmes returned to Chicago and started up his crimes again. The dates line up too perfectly to be a coincidence.
Ideas for videos Top 10 Serial Killers who died before they were identified. Top 20 Possible Zodiac Killer Victims Top 10 Possible Jack the Ripper Victims
I think a nice honorable mention would have been the theory that H. H. Holmes and Jack the Ripper could have been the same person. There was an interesting documentary called American Ripper that chronicles a search for evidence, but found nothing concrete. Perfectly plausible though.
Charles Manson also gave a interview telling his thoughts about Ted Bundy, calling him out names like "Poop Butt" "Looser" and a lot of other senseless things 😂
This happened to my sister. When BTK was doing his killings in the '70's my sister lived a few houses down from him. A few years later a girlfriend of my sister's and my sister nearly accepted a ride from Ted Bundy.
@Reaperguy67 the fact it comments on every video regardless of what time it's uploaded, be it 0400 or midnight. It ALWAYS loves whatever the topic is about. Mojo could upload a video about the Golden Girls and it would "love the show." It makes generic, unoriginal comments, usually praising whatever word is used most in the comments.
The Yorkshire Ripper case doesn't need to be on this one. The reason it's being associated with JTR is because of an audio tape that was mailed to the police that they failed to properly vet the authenticity of. It had nothing to do with the case and it was later found to be crated by a very mentally ill individual.
Do you think you can make a video of the top 20 worst things the Eds from Ed Edd n’ Eddy have done? I think they have committed enough misdeeds to make one.
@@courtneyotoole3504 I had a customer where I worked in 2006 that worked where he did. She said he was creepy, and they called him Green River Gary. Watching him in interviews with his face twitches like a rabbit's Flemen response is so eerie.
can someone help me find the movie that scientists go to reserch deep sea but found something . that scene that the girl show her back and sees all blister infected with something green .
Some DEFINITELY fishy with the L.I.S.K. GILLGO BEACH . GILGO 8. that shit definitely not just one man but I can't remember where I got the information so I won't say much
Weren't there 2 killers in California that were in adjoining cells, yelling at each other that they were in the other's neighborhood, so to speak? Same MO, same body dumping area?
Kurt Russell ran into Ted Bundy the day they caught him in a national park and years later Russell was also jogging by OJ Simpsons house the day rongoldman and nicole simpson were discovered dead.
One of the Worst things you can do is give a Murderer a nick name ,it feeds their Ego ,BTK is nothing but a little man called Dennis !Stop feeding their egos, it's what they crave !😤😠
I feel like copycat killers, cell mates, and fellow serial killer admiration shouldn't count here as all those are bound to happen anyway. 😂 With that being said I'm surprised that you didn't mention how John Wayne Gacey was influenced by the news of Dean Corll.
The Zodiac killer has never been identified. There is speculation that he gave up his killing spree, was put in prison for another crime, or he's all ready dead.
I've met pee wee Gaskin sister...she isn't all there. Also my best friends grandma used to have dinner with Gaskin. Said he was the nicest man she had ever met.
Sean Vincent Gillis had a folder on his computer that he used to keep tabs on Derrick Todd Lee, another serial killer who was active in the same area at the same time.
If you’ve watched them for the last 5 years, you would’ve known they’ve been out of ideas for half a decade now, they occasionally get a unique idea here and there, but mainly it’s only because of events happening IRL,
