Oh, I did make a mistake - I said liver is on the left side. This is false, it's on the right side and ankle/leg and edema is also on the right side more than the left.
It's funny, Dr John Campbell also made this slip. Probably because docs are envisaging the facing patient, rather than looking down at their own trunk.
I quit drinking months ago. I was a heavy drinker for many decades. But I had a lot of these symptoms so I quit. 3 months later and I feel so much healthier. The itching gone, the bloated belly gone, the fatigue and malaise gone. I'm absolutely positive I was heading towards liver failure if I continued that lifestyle. BTW I am a 49 year old man and I will not pick up a drink again!
That's good to know, I'm 46 and have been drinking for many years too. I have none of these problems so it's good to know I can keep drinking and not worry about it
I havent drank for 20 yrs maybe and I did most of my partying in my teens up til 19 than had kids didn't do anything for longest time at least 15 years then 30's bout 5 yrs heavy partying again apparently I have cirrhosis but ultrasound sound and other methods said light scarring ....then and no doctor has figured it out dermatology useless I started getting sores some like diabetic ulcers....right arm atm and left leg atm...I cant figure it out....I have no pains in stomach?Gastronologist sucks....doesnt say anything but huh?
@@scotcharron1679 An ultrasound is useful but can't be used on its own to diagnose cirrhosis. For that they have to look at the overall clinical picture. Plus the ultrasound only images surfaces. Have you had an elevated liver fibrosis test yet? None of this is meant as medical advice of course, I am not medically trained but then I think neither is Dr Berg, well at least not in science anyway.
My husband had all those symptoms. We spent years at doctors offices and hospitals. No one would help him because he wasn't (sick enough). Then he was to sick for a liver transplant. He died at the age of 60. I feel that the medical professionals let him down.
So sorry. I know your frustration from my own experience and have come to believe that medics tend to ignore or write off what they can't understand or fix.
I’m so sorry for your loss. My dad had this in August. He had been sober 10 years and out of nowhere was diagnosed with liver cancer end stage. I feel the medical professionals let us down and didn’t take his diagnosis seriously. They assumed it was because he used to be an alcoholic and I feel they let him die.

Because your body houses many things in the cells like energy factories if something is wrong the body starts regulating energy to other functions for defense. Therefore we feel fatigued. It's the body telling you something is not right.

I had liver disease from an autoimmune disorder called PBC. I had all those symptoms. One of the worst was the severe itching. My arms would be bleeding every day. Nothing would stop it. I got to the end stage. I was told I had only days left if that. I was bright gold. The toxins had gotten to my brain and I was not able to speak clearly or understand things. I couldn't walk without help. I just wanted it to be over and I prayed for God to take me home. I don't know how many days after that my 2 kids got a call that they had a donor liver that was a match.I remember the car ride there and thinking it was the last time I would be seeing anything so I looked for flowers and trees and anything that was beautiful. When we got to the hospital they started prepping me for surgery and did pre op blood work. They came back and said that I couldn't get the transplant because my blood work was unstable in something. I think potassium. I told the kid to take me home because I didn't want to die in the hospital. They all convinced me to stay in the hospital to stabilize me in case they found another match. A couple days later some poor guy in Georgia got into an accident (I am in Florida) . He was a better match. The original match for me had COVID, which would have been hard to overcome in my condition. They took a helicopter and picked up the guy and brought him to me and did the surgery. I made it through. It's been 10 months now. I take anti rejection meds every day. It's not easy but I worked hard with a physical therapist and I can walk my dog and do small chores in the house now. The meds come with a lot of side effects and they are still working to regulate my dose so it's not so hard on my kidneys and I get severe migraines from the meds. But every time I get to feeling down, I remember how I was before the surgery and how that young man saved my life. It was a true miracle. I'm now trying to offer hope and support to other transplant recipients and people suffering from liver disease
I had the pregnant look and most of my clothes were too big - just to accommodate by belly! I found a Dr Berg video that stated "you cannot lose weight while you have a fatty liver". The penny dropped and I stopped trying to lose weight and instead, focused on healing my liver. It took ten months of keto and I.F. 19:5 to fix everything and lo-behold, 103 pounds disappeared from my body. I'm staying keto forever, because it is NOT a diet, but it is the correct human way of eating.
@@sayss4611 I do consume low carbs, but I don't even count anymore. I think I'm below 20g per day, but I'm definitely below 30g. Bearing in mind, I still consume some carbs, with vegetables and nutritional supplements -- like coconut and almond flours - plus nutritional yeast and ground flax.
I was diagnosed with end stage (decompensated) 3 years ago. It's said that this stage is not reversible. BUT I was actually able to reverse it with herbs & diet change (& of course no more alcohol). I am not on any meds, and they had to re-diagnose me as "compensated" about 2yrs ago. Don't accept every diagnosis, & don't lose hope just because the physicians tell you something can't be done. I'm living proof that sometimes they're wrong. 💜✨.
You have no idea how happy seeing your comment has made me! 💜 My father, who I was unaware was sick seems to be in end stages (hasn’t been officially diagnosed as he’s just come to me from another state and we haven’t made it to all of the doctors yet). I’ve been researching how to heal him and I was looking for a story like yours. May I ask- did you lose a lot of weight without trying? He’s extremely thin and frail and I’m trying to find the balance of fasting and getting him the calories he needs.
@@Roses-Peonies sometimes it isn’t. NAFLD doesn’t always turn into NASH/Cirrhosis. It is still a good idea to get a fatty liver under control with diet and exercise. People never know if it will turn into Cirrhosis.
I have a the leg edema still it’s getting way better tho. However I been fasting in between meals that helped A LOT I HAD A LOT OF FAT IN MY LOWER STOMACH it felt like a Little hump but it’s mostly gone. I use Apple cider vinegar the one that say with the mother. I add only lemon and that’s it. I drink it before bed I stop eating at 8pm First meal is at between 11am to 12pm next meal is dinner about 7:00pm to 8:00pm So from 8pm to 11:00am I don’t eat that’s 15 hours then I do a small fat from 12pm to 7 pm that’s 7 hours. It work I’m able to keep food down I’m starting this fat burning workout 🏋️♀️ I’m do 15 minutes for the first 4 weeks then I’m push it to 20 minutes
Wow your inspirational! For me the apple cider and lemon been a god send I didn't know how much I needed it I was doing it before starting intermittent fasting and healthy keto. My issue dr Berg said we should drink 16oz with basically 2 tble and AVC and lemon, it's to acidic on my teeth but I been using a cap full.of AVC with a table of lemon in a small cup of warm water. Is that enough ? How much you take acv and lemon ?
I worked with a Guy at Wholefoods who was 64yrs old and Always told us about his story with Liver Disease! His name was Bob! Nothing worked! Bob quickly gave up the boose after the news and changed to a diet that saved and changed his life! He showed us this drink he would make every morning! It consisted of ALOT OF ORGANIC PRODUCE! Kale, Spinach, Blueberries, Seamoss, Cucumbers, Honeydew, Blackberries, Almonds, Sunflower seeds, Chia, and Probably a 100 other things! He also blended things whole! He included the fruits and vegetables skin and roots! He lived with no complications for over 2 Decades and is still doing well this very Day! My father suffered most of those symptoms due to his bad liver condition. He also suffered from cardiac problems. At the end he died due to renal failure (as stated in his death certificate). People must stop drinking alcohol and/or high fructose corn syrup consumption to avoid liver problems. It is an emotional trauma to see a person that you love suffering from those conditions.

2 summers ago I was diagnosed with a severe fatty liver with fibrosis due to too many carbs, but also Hemochromatosis. Iron was damaging my liver. I was itchy as all heck all the time, but I also experienced severe night sweats & leg cramping - especially in my left hamstring. I typically start my day with a Bulletproof Green Tea Macha w/coconut oil, heavy cream, & stevia. Then I only eat a late lunch/dinner consisting of either beef, chicken, pork, or fish - typically salmon or tuna. I’ll also eat a side consisting of one of these vegetables: pickles, kimchi, sauerkraut, broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, asparagus, green beans, or cauliflower. That’s about it.

@@fearless6947 I’ve gone from a Severe Fatty Liver to a Mildly Fatty Liver on my last ultrasound from about 1 year ago. I’m due for another ultrasound, so I’ll see where I’m at. I do know one thing - I had the flu 2.5 weeks ago and I needed antibiotics & my liver did not like that at all. I ended up being fatigued. I’ve been taking Milk Thistle and Choline supplements to combat my liver issues (Fibrosis & Fatty Liver), and I think it has made a big difference, but I’m still not 100% yet.
My liver is on the right side but everything else is spot on. All my swelling is on the right as well. I was finally able to address my liver problems after I was diagnosed with end stage congestive heart failure. Seems the liver also starts dumping thymine instead of sending it to the body. AND Wham! you develop wet baribari (aka CHF). I've fixed my blood, veins, edema, ascites, kidneys, heart, lungs, nerves, bones, but my liver is a challenge still. As I heal I'm learning that my liver causes pain and fatigue with every poison that slips into my food. Funny thing, as a kid I worked in commercial gardening around high doses of glyposate, 2-4 D, and many other toxic gardening products daily for a few years. I now attempt to find clean and nutrient dense food but even organic food lacks nutritional density unless the farmer knows a mineral guy. In nature minerals are unevenly distributed if over farming hasn't depleted the soil as well. Then we fertilize with 13 minerals the plant uses instead of the 77 we use. Then we poison our food. For example additional manganese is needed to overcome glyposate as glyposate binds to manganese rendering it inert in living systems. You can't breath without manganese. Then we get to the bottom of it all poverty. Poisoned as a kid fighting fatigue and paying doctors that just wasted my time made life more challenging. I appreciate doctors like Dr. Berg as they are far superior to the 23 years of doctors that nursed me down the garden path while I could still work. Dr. Berg is one of nine doctors I meld to draw solutions now.
Would you mind explaining how you fixed all of those things?? My dad seems to be dealing with almost every one of the issues you listed, but refuses to go to a doctor. This is the first video where you don’t offer any hope or suggestions for people to get better. We never know when a person has reached the “it’s too late” day. 1) Fast from all food 2) Drinking 1 lemon in water up to 6 times per day helps neutralizes the ammonia, stimulate bile production & make the person more alkaline. 3) Freshly prepared carrot & beet & greens juice 4x/day. 4) Large charcoal poultices over the abdomen changed every 4-6 hrs will pull fluid through the skin and relieve the pressure and toxic load. 5) Complete change in lifestyle if the person responds and gets well. 6) For all those with a non-alcoholic fatty liver: remove ALL processed refined carbohydrates. Eat real food only. Utilize the above suggestions on a modified basis. (ie. Start each morning with a lemon squeezed into 12-16 oz of water. Wait 30 min and drink a freshly prepared vegetable only juice. Can repeat in the evening. Rinse & Repeat each day.)
Wow, one of my closest friends just died of liver failure 5 days ago due to extreme alcoholism. I did everything I could to help him break the habit to no avail. He didn't feel well and went to the hospital last week, he was dead within 4 days of being admitted.
@@InsaneNuYawka He was 49 years old and has been a full blown alcoholic since his early thirties. I've been around heroin and cocaine addicts and their addictions didn't seem nearly as intense as his alcohol addiction. He suffered from depression and drank his life away in order to cope with it. Around the clock drinking, even forgoing all sleep during the work week at times to booze all night, then immediately go to work on no sleep with the smell of alcohol seeping out of his skin pores. In late June, 2021, I started developing Ascites... I would say throughout all of 2021, the malaise, bruising, weakness, lack of strength and energy were present... but things advanced quickly throughout July and August. I was so sick, I ended up getting a transplant... I am happy to say I am 2-1/2 months past my transplant and doing very well... However, I would like it if you could do some videos on the subject of Wilson's Disease. As it turned out, while I was in the hospital, it was discovered that I had abnormally high copper levels. They tossed around the idea of the Wilson's Diaease, but were in a race against time to save my life so they never thoroughly pursued it until after my transplant. I developed a varicele and found out I had cirrhosis of the liver. I didn't drink hard alcohol but I had went on a drinking binge for about 4 yrs because my brother had died from drug abuse. I just tried to numb my pain 💔 and it took its toll. I began seeing a Transplant dr but he told me I would have to be dieing to get a Transplant and said liver doesn't always take and if it fails I would die in the hospital. I quit drinking cold turkey when I found out. Has been 5yrs but I have been diagnosed with lymphedema and on lactulose for ammonia on the brain. I have next to no white blood cells. We all deal with pain differently and I didn't think I could get sick so fast. I have memory loss plus swollen and jaundice. I am at peace with my maker. I hope by sharing this I can make a difference for anyone . Keep yourself busy with work or just go for a walk. It isn't worth it. God Bless everyone who reads this 🙏.
I haven't felt as well as my teenage years for at least 3 years. Now I have constant itching and a bit of jaundice that fluctuates. I need to fix my poverty diet. Isn't slower than normal healing also a symptom?
Slower healing can be caused by several things. You are right, you need to consume more of what your body needs. White bread, processed meats, other processed foods and fast foods are typically a big part of a poor person's diet in the US. The body needs real, unprocessed food.
I wanted to point out that "severe itching" and "yellowing," also known as jaundice, can be caused by gallstone(s) blocking the common bile duct. When that happens, bile from the liver and gallbladder begins backing up in the system and the blood vessels. It can show up in a blood test as high iron and bilirubin. It does not necessarily mean a person has a dying liver, but the gallstone blocking the bile duct needs to be removed.
Yes, but issues with bile salts leads to gallstones. Issues with the liver trickle down to the gallbladder. The gallbladder may catch the blame, but where there is a gallbladder problem, there is most certainly a liver problem.
I had malaise and fatigue a year ago along with yellow urine and high ALT /AST with little higher bilirubin. Immediately stopped alcohol and never looked back. Now I'm 100% healthy, liver is amazing. Good luck all of u
I must be on the end stage. I have every symptom Dr. Berg mentioned. I have had cirrhosis and hepatitis B for 8 years now. I was doing great until I got Covid in February-March of 2022. In May, I tested positive for autoimmune disease. I also have neurological disorder(seizures, arachnoid cyst and a small mass on my brain) Which makes everything more difficult. I have multiple gall stones, my eyes are yellow and my skin is yellowish brown. I have blurry vision. I have ascites, edema in both legs, loss of muscle, loss of hair, burning itching feet. Red dots and dark red lumps. I look like I have 2 black eyes. My face lost its fat. I ended up with periodontal disease in 2017 and ended up getting on my teeth pulled and now my gums are almost gone. This disease has Completely brought me to my knees. I don't have a good team doctors. In my eyes I should have been admitted a long time ago. I was supposed to be put on the transplant list back in 2020, until Covid hit and pushed everything back. I've changed my entire diet, I'm taking vitamins and supplements and protein shakes. I can't chew hard vegetables or fruits, so I have to supplement. My primary felt my stomach and also said my liver was enlarged. And my spleen. I feel like they're not doing enough. I learned about nutrition information from you. Also back in 2014 my colon perforated. I had to wear a colostomy bag for 8 months and then they reserved it. But it left scar tissue. So much in fact that you can't see some of my organs. I feel completely hopeless.
How are you ? I'm having liver symptoms as well I'm 31, my primary did a poor job at telling me about my liver enzymes Until barely late last year. How's your appetite?
You need to get to a better Dr. A hepatologist. What state are you in? You definitely sound like you need a transplant ASAP. It's really hard to get on the list I know. I had to have every part of my body tested and I got lucky. I wish you the best and don't give up

Avoid grains and sugars... Take milk thistle if your not allergic to ragweeds which helps to detox the liver and regrow liver cells... Eat artichoke hearts like crazy which helps to detox the liver and regrow liver cells... Do keto and intermittent fasting... Use olive oil more often in your salads that are made of cruciferous vegetables... Drink lemon juice in water first thing in the morning and whenever you can throughout the day... Eat more butter and coconut oils for their medium chain triglycerides that don't tax the liver so much but help give you energy and to produce more bile which helps to detox the liver... Drink warm drinks that will warm up the gut and bring more bloodflow into the liver... Take taurine which helps to fight a fatty liver...
First step is cutting off all forms of sugar and alcohol from your diet, reduce carbs, especially refined ones, to a minimum Secondly, avoid processed foods Thirdly, eat lots of fatty fish (like salmon and sardines) and organ meats (especially liver), also don't be afraid of eggs, as all of these are some of the most nutrient dense foods out there, and your liver may be lacking, especially when it comes to B complex vitamins, and enjoy these along with leafy greens (like spinach) and cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli and brussel sprouts), raw salads are also good for you, as these will provide a bunch of essencial vitamins/ minerals and help your liver heal and detox faster and more efficiently Fourtly, do intermittent fasting (if your liver is in a REALLY bad shape, you shouldn't do prolonged fasting, but if it's just a little fatty, it's okay) Lastly, drinking a glass of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice and a couple of tablespoons of apple cider viner (organic, not the cheap one) before your first meal, as well as taking serrapeptase (on an emply stomach as soon as you wake up) and milk thistle as supplements may help as well P.S.: exercise daily, doesn't have to be anything in particular, but at least make it a priority to walk outside 30 minutes everyday

Yeah, I have felt like I’m having problems with my liver but you just said something that I was questioning for a while, I started getting ankles that are swelling, went to the doctor and they just said for me to lower my cholesterol and that was it. I noticed that both ankles are swelling but my left one is worse. I have to make a change, I can’t continue like this.
Dr. Berg - thanks for the video! As someone in this situation, could you please go further and explain what you would do under these circumstances? Appreciated!
Keto is the updated Atkins diet or protein diet. It’s pretty much eating only meats, cheese and fat. A few greens for carbs but really limit potatoes and rice other heavy carbs. The greatest thing about Keto: you won’t be hungry. You can eat about all the meat and cheese you want.
Thank you for doing this, awareness & education is so vital. My mom died of liver failure 11 years ago, she was the 5th of 10 kids of same complications, they were not alcoholics, abusing substances & took care as best as best as they could as given the situations growing up(very poor & worked on farms & why I think most were sick or now on other side). Environment for home & farming are so important for our living & sustainability especially in the indigenous communities were this rate is high & stereotype do not help.
Wow! I thought of kids who grew up on farms as healthy because they have diverse gut flora, with being exposed to dirt all the time. They also sleep in accordance with the rhythms of nature and work physically, which is much better than excessive sitting. Eye-opening. Maybe they were exposed to a lot of sprays for the crops.
My dad was given 3 to 6 months to live with end stage liver disease...prayer and the rosary and the doctors can't figure out how he is still alive and thriving
@@jaylove7ful I'm so sorry! First and most importantly is prayer and rosary to our dear mother in heaven..next I gave him a diet of salads.. blueberries with organic yogurt..grape juice..salmon..chicken..eggs..and other healthy things...stay away from wheat and sugar..read labels..high fructose corn syrup is the enemy..I will pray for your mom in my rosary..what is her name?
@@inhonorofmary6825 really? So goood to hear this kindly guide me as my grandmother also facing end stage liver cancer dr says no treatment will work kindly tell me what treatments u do plus what to eat?
Are you saying all beer belly men have liver issues? Could there be other causes for the pot belly look, such as lack of exercise from sedentary life style?
Hello Dr. Berg and thank you for another video. You talk about the dangers of low grade inflamation. I have a question, I had an ACL surgery many years ago and they used screws for my surgery. I just want to know is this the kind of inflamation that I should worry about and what can someone with surgery do Thank you
Dr. Berg this video doesn’t help people that are in end stage nigher the rest of us not suffering from end stage nor we are in medical residency that we must learn this very uncommon disease. We should focus on prevention and treatment method before the end stage of a dying organ like liver.
Your liver is on the right side of your body, but, when you have liver failure, edema occurs on the left lower extremely, and with heart failure, edema occurs on the right lower extremity.
What if your swollen leg is the right leg instead of the left ? Could it be because a quak doctor dissected all the lymphatic nodes in the right neck because she misread a pet scan?
I was there. Weak, dizzy. I had to take a nap to get dressed for bed each night. If I ate, I bloated so bad, I looked and felt ten months pregnant. My diabetic socks were so tight, I had the fabric shaping my legs. I weighed a massive 73 pounds, and on multiple occasions simply fell asleep standing up. One occasion I woke up to paramedics arguing over if I were in labor because I had been crying before I fell asleep. My doctor swore it was anorexia, but was dead wrong in appending "nervosa". I had absolutely no fear of food or being fat. I was starving to death and expended tons of energy eating and blowing chow. Long story short, the hospital tried to kill me, I escaped, and then I slept. Hardly drank anything, didn't eat. But not eating was the right thing to do. After about three days, I slowly began drinking more coffee, eating more sugar free gelatine. I worked my way up to yogurt and greens, rutabaga and sugar free ketchup. I gorged on three bites of pea soup, and didn't throw up. I ate more licorice gelatine (I blended spoonfuls of ground licorice powder into gelatine, ginger, peppermint, stevia, black pepper, whatever sounded good). I drank more tea, more coffee. It was a long, slow process, but somewhere in there, rather early, I found Dr. Berg. I began implementing various vitamins, especially D and K, and an occasional duck or turkey egg. Liver failure can be reversed, but you have to be more determined than a Navy Seal. And, you have to trust God. He created you, he gave you a brain, and you don't have to be taught how to use it. If bread and pasta screw up your blood sugar and make you vomit, don't eat it. And don't let uneducated medical personnel treat hypoglycemia with dextrose and maltodextrine. That will only kill you faster than fasting for another hour. Thank you, sir, for this! I am so grateful that, when I needed it, there was available the information I needed condensed into portions I could digest. I gained a whopping thirty pounds over a year, then lost ten, and haven't budged since then. This is the first winter I've had to replace my clothes due to wear since I started more than five years ago with a "somewhat" fatty liver and more than double myself! Keto is good.
Funny story. When my oldest son was born 45 years ago, they thought he had jaundice because his skin was so yellow. Not his eyes. Sixth months later he was still yellow because both my husband's and my family have golden-based skin. In fact, my mother's skin was always bright golden under artificial light. I didn't notice it until we attended my niece's wedding; under the lights in the reception hall, my mother's skin and mine looked bright yellow, but nobody else's. Neither one of us has had jaundice. Both of my sons have golden tone skin with actual peach-color cheeks.
There are so many people drinking alcohol with no regards for its effects. People drinking themselves to sleep at night over and over again it’s very sad
I am a recent breast cancer patient with metastasis to the liver. Love these videos and I so appreciate any information you pass along! Thank you Dr Berg!
Get some coaching from Dr Berg or binge what all his videos. Carnovore and intermediate fasting will help too. Drink some bone broth. Hope it goes well with you, best wishes🙏
@@leereid-anstey2809 Make yourself happy too. This is over looked. There is a book call the happiness trap by Dr Russ Harris. He also has a dvd streaming course for $300. The book is about $10. It's the same thing but one is dvd and other is a book. Depends how you like to learn
Please make a video on liver enzymes ggt, my ggt level increases unusual and now have fat on liver, and because of this, my dr suggested to take more carbs which was easy to digest and because of this I m now over weight from 52 kg to 70kg,
My son is in end stage and in intensive care right now. He has every one of the signs except one The man eats a lot! They had him in a medical coma for 2 1/2 days, woke him up today and removed the ventilator tubes the second he was fully awake he asked for food. This is his 4th trip to the hospital in 6 months He has a few good moments where he feels good and has a little energy but that wears off real quick then he’s down for days. I wish I could convince people who drink that this is what happens. I’m a recovered alcoholic, I haven’t had a drop in 20 years and I have signs of liver damage to this day
I hate the term “end stage”. I have Cirrhosis due to Lean NASH (which means Fatty liver for no known reason) and the only ones I have from that list is fatigue, bloating and bruising. I think along with the bruising you should have added “bleeding disorder”. Also as for the loss of appetite I have that to an extent but I also have days where I feel like I am starving but after a few bites I am full. Also my loss of appetite isn’t so much that my appetite is gone, it is that I get full easily. You also didn’t even mention varices, that is more common of a complication from Cirrhosis than HE is. And what about Spider angiomas? That is a rash that people can see and might make them go to the doctor to see if there is a problem. But they need to know about it possibly being connected to Liver problems. Spider angiomas doesn’t itch or anything, it is just there. I love most of your videos but this one was just lacking in information.
its reversible if you wanna know how tell me :) but the cloting factors problem plus portal vein hypertension is what need to be fixed control as much as possible while detox and heall the body and liver and lympatic system
Many people here tell about going to the doctor and beimg dismissed because “no actusl cobdition”. Can a doctor explain to me why this happens all the time? Why wouldn’t doctors tell you these things? Are prevention and right everyday choices not a thing??? This makes me so angry…
Btw my father also died nine months ago after having these signs for years. Went to the doctor several times because of the fatigue and she always gave him electrolytes and sent him away. Just saying…
I think you would have to be very careful about any idea of loss of appetite being the body's call to fast. One of the accelerators of ESLD is Protein Calorie Malnutrition (PCM).
I'm 24 and have liver disease. I drank from age 8 to 23 when I lost over 100 pounds and got sick. My meld score isn't at a transplant level but I have most of these symptoms everyday.
I’ve been battling gout, and injuries received from my active duty time as a young man. Aside from my acupuncture, you’re the best source of information concerning health at its core. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and knowledge.
@@bhaveramesh2777 I quit eating red meat, shrimp, and whatever is high in “purines”? To include some vegetables, fruit, nuts and especially alcohol. I also drink hot tea at night with turmeric. I have a water purifier that makes alkaline water. I had to change my lifestyle.
10 years ago I was diagnosed with liver disease, but all of my blood tests have been normal since then. I recently went to ED for stomach pain in my right side, doctor said I have a fatty liver.... not sure where to turn because anytime I go to the doctor and tell them I'm having stomach pain nothing happens. It seems this might be because I don't have insurance. Idk.... I've been watching your channel and trying to take your advice. Thank you.
I hope you got to see a good doctor. Preferably a hepatologist. Or at least a gastro intestinal Dr. There are hospitals and clinics that will help you even if you don't have insurance
I did see a hepatoligist, he was the last doctor I saw about 6 months ago. He did a MRI also ran a scope down my throat and more blood test, and he said it's a fatty liver. I'm hopeful that all is good and the pain is from fatty liver disease. The pain comes and goes, I've been trying to eat better and it seems to go away the better I eat, but I always have that scared thought in the back of my head.
Very good video, I was close to a person who went through exactly these symptoms and couldn't stand it, no one figure out until it's was too later, anyways you didn't talk about the second part of the board, with the liver solutions
