10:58 Learn more about what causes bloating!
There are twelve important signs of a gallbladder problem that I want to cover today. But, most of the time, a person with a gallbladder issue doesn't experience any symptoms at all.
The majority of the time, a person has no idea they have a problem with the gallbladder. However, even though there are no major symptoms of a gallbladder problem, there are signs that can indicate your gallbladder is in trouble.
Most of these signs are related to a bile deficiency because of a blockage, but excess bile can also lead to issues.
Top signs of a potential gallbladder problem:
1. Visceral pain under the right rib cage
2. Nausea
3. Neck pain
4. Shoulder pain
5. Pale or gray stool
6. Floating stool
7. Itchy skin (especially at night)
8. Diarrhea, watery stool, and loss of control over bowel movements (from excess bile)
9. Dark urine
10. Jaundice
11. Vomiting
12. Constipation
Top causes of a gallbladder problem:
• Low-fat diets
• A spike in estrogen
• High cortisol
• High insulin
• PPIs
The best remedies for gallbladder problems:
• Purified bile salts (right after a meal)
• TUDCA (on an empty stomach)
• Fiber from salads
It’s also crucial to avoid a low-fat diet to support a healthy gallbladder. Instead, learn more about the Healthy Keto® diet in my other videos.

One day I started getting sharp stabbing pains in my kidney areas (lower back). I felt like I was being stabbed. I went to the ER four times and was turned away each time. All the doctors said there was nothing wrong with me. The fifth time they found I had a stone stuck in the neck of my gallbladder. This caused such Excruciating pain. They removed my gallbladder immediately but NEVER Told me ANYTHING about living without a gallbladder. Such an undiscussed topic.

@@JV220 now in 2023 it’s not bad because I take Gallbladder formula extra strength. Dr Berg Carrie’s it and I take the liver cleaner detox repair. If you don’t have a gallbladder and you don’t take these kinds of things, then eat greasy foods or foods with oils there will be severe bowl accidents very quickly.. that because I do take these those don’t happen anymore and food and caution in my diet is wonders and I’ve lost a lot of weight eating the right foods! As God is my witness, this is what happened to me. I came back from vacation 2 years ago where I was eating and drinking like when I was young, but I’m 49, and then I felt the excruciating pain under my right rib cage . I said this will go away . One week later ,same pain . I go to the doctor.She says it’s your gallbladder, here’s the number for the surgeon. I was in disbelief and terrified. I make an appointment for a gastroenterologist (nearest one in 2weeks or go to the emergency room). I start looking up information about gallbladder on RU-vid and I came across Dr. Berg. Listened to the video and I was so scared that I bought his product. I remind you I DONT BELIEVE OR BUY ANYTHING ONLINE.I’m just that person . I bought it drank it and up to this day NO MORE EPISODES OF GALLBLADDER PAIN. Went to the gastroenterologist, they did a colonoscopy and endoscopy, everything was ok. She said I didn’t need surgery. So there it is . Thank you.

Wait how did they know there was nothing wrong with your gallbladder if they didn't do a scan like an ultrasound? Did you have a blood test for your liver function as well? Doesn't endoscopy and colonoscopy only look at stomach and intestinal issues respectively? My friend who had a gallbladder infection didn't do either an endo and colonoscopy when she was diagnosed. As far as I'm aware, pain from gallbladder problems can be episodic. My friend had to be on a low fat diet while she awaited surgery to remove her gallbladder to prevent flare-ups in pain

I went to my Doc with classic gallbladder symptoms. Pain high up on the abdomen, excruciating bowel pain that would come and go, yellow skin, constipation, fever, dark urine. She gave me a laxative and sent me home. 2 days later I’m in the E.R. I was highlighter yellow. I had to have emergency surgery. I have an 8 inch scar because they had to cut me open and remove my gallbladder which was gangrenous. I was in the hospital for a week. Needless to say I reported the doctor to the AMA because I nearly died. Every symptom I had was gallbladder 101 and she should have caught it.

This is so interesting to me. I was very thin throughout my life and ate only LOW FAT foods. Yet on the rare occasion i would est anything "rich, or higher in fat" I would feel horrible nausea that would last for hour's. Eventually in my mid 30's I ended up violently sick vomiting and pain and jaundice and gall stone's were stuck in the bile duct. This led to having my gallbladder removed. But I recall my doctor saying to me the classic gallbladder trouble is "fair ,fat and 40" .. I was not fair, nor fat and 35. But nobody ever said eating extremely low fat could cause gallbladder issues. How incredibly interesting. Now 25 years later, im having bile duct issues and that sludge Dr Berg is speaking of. Ive got stents put in the bile ducts to keep the ducts open. But ive developed a condition called "sphincter of Oddi disorder". It's a rare problem that can occur with the loss of the gallbladder. Very painful. And involves the pancreas i believe. Or can mean pancreas surgery. None of this was ever told to me at the time my gallbladder was removed. In fact the gastroenterologist expressly told me to continue on a low fat diet to avoid complications once the gallbladder was removed. How things in medicine change in 30 years.

You might go bathroom more...the bile runs right through my system now. Two weeks after gallbladder removal..while I was waiting for surgery..the smaller stones blocked my pancreatic hole. Nothing to mess with..I needed ERCP since they said I will keep making stones and my digestive system is exactly like my mothers. So they enlarged my pancreatic hole since it's only as big as the tip of your pinky finger. When your gallbladder or pancreas act up..your liver blood work will be off. Of course they always will ask if you are an alcoholic first..like they did to my mom and then me. Lucky if we have one drink every two weeks. It feels like punching, like you have to throw up and go to bathroom, but cannot.

@carriesmith7165
@carriesmith7165 11 месяцев назад
I thought I should add that gallbladder pain cannot be controlled by over the counter pain killers like Tylenol, so that's another sign, the pain just persists. The one thing that can take the pain away is Buscapan (requires prescription) but has to be used sparingly as it actually stops the intestines and gallbladdrr from contracting but helps relieve the intense pain of an attack. And you SHOULD significantly reduce your fat, caffeine, and fibre intake if you are experiencing severe gallbladder problems because they all cause the gallbladder to contract which is the cause of the pain. I had very bad gallbladder attack due to a blockage in bile duct and an infection (empyema) in gallbladder. Intense pain, felt like tight thick rubber band around ribcage. Very very bad heartburn and nausea. The way they figured it out was that my liver enzymes were thru the roof high caused by the blockage and resulting backup into the liver. I was only 37, not overweight and not pregnant and was never really given an explanation of why it happened. I keep the flow of bile going by not staying away from fats but not indulging either, drink several cups of coffee a day and a large lemon juice and water drink with my dinner. (Bitter food like coffee and lemon promote production of bile). To keep bloating at bay, i take a very good probiotic as needed (not daily, just if i am feeling bloated) and as a woman who has menstrual cycles, that bloating can get to be significant at certain times in cycle. I don't take any prescription drugs.

I recently had to have my gall bladder removed. I woke up in the middle of the night and my whole abdomen area was in pain. I thought it was my ulcers acting up again. After being thoroughly examined it was determined that my gall bladder was enlarged and filled with gall stones. I had immediate surgery and found out that in addition to that, I have a growth on the outside of my left kidney and a benign growth inside my right kidney. We are freezing the growth on the outside, but I think they are not concerned about the other one. The growth on the outside of left kidney is definitely cancer, but the team thinks that cryosurgery will be the best approach with no chemotherapy or other surgery necessary. That was music to my ears. That's all aside to what I started out to say and that is; I was in a lot, a lot, a lot of pain with the gall bladder problem. It was similar to labor, except I didn't get a beautiful baby out of it! And I ignored it for a long time until it would not be ignored anymore. If you've got pain, real pain, wad you up into a ball kind of pain then go see your doctor and make sure they understand that you are in pain.

So glad you discovered this early! My Mum last year went through the same thing! Had an infected gallbladder and had to be hospitalized and put on strong antibiotics, then keep a low-fat diet after they had it under control, while they prepared her for the gallbladder removal...but found a suspicious growth on her left kidney during an abdominal scan of the gallbladder! Biopsy indicated it was cancerous, which was a big shock! She'd had an abdominal scan less than three years before and it had been clear. My Mum had to have the whole kidney removed and it proved to be stage 3, but had thankfully not spread outside the kidney. We are coming up to 1 year since the kidney removal in the next few days and she recently got back her second lot of tests (6 monthly) that were all clear. She didn't need any chemo, radio-therapy or immune therapy, post-surgery and we were very nervous for a time about whether she should have gone that route, but doctors advised that it was not necessary.

It seems like my gallbladder issues came out of nowhere, but looking back I realized I began having trouble with my gallbladder during my first trimester of pregnancy. I attributed it to severe heartburn, since the pain started right below my breastbone. Postpartum, I started to figure out that something was wrong and that this couldn’t be heartburn. That shooting, sharp pain in the middle of the night is something I will never forget. I ended up with jaundice and a bile duct obstruction. I needed an ERCP and emergency gallbladder removal 10 days before what was supposed to be a routine scheduled gallbladder removal.

I just received the gallbladder formula this week, namely I was experiencing symptoms 5,6, and 7. I gave it 2 days of trial and it definitely works! I think adding a bit more fat to my diet from now on will likely help me even more for my particular issue, I eat a lot of vegetables and not near enough animal fats. I cant say I trust anyone on the internet when it comes to health advice, however Dr.Berg has been and still is my exception. Thank you Doc!
@ccc-kq6ef
@ccc-kq6ef 9 месяцев назад
So much of the literature I'm reading suggests a low fat diet takes the pressure off an already irritated gallbladder. Which makes sense as the gallbladder helps digest fat. So I don't understand how more fat in one's diet could help if someone's gallbladder function is reduced
@juliemcgugan1244
@juliemcgugan1244 Месяц назад
@@ccc-kq6ef Because when you restrict the amount of fat in your diet, it leads to a reduction of gallbladder contractions and emptying. When the gallbladder contracts and empties less, the lithogenic bile ends up sitting longer inside the gallbladder and you are then more at risk for developing stones. I guess the aim is to reduce fat in your diet, but also not cut it out entirely, because you still want that gallbladder to still function, so you don't set up problems for yourself in the future.

I diagnosed myself with gallstones several years ago and did a gallbladder and liver (cos they're in there too) flush after reading a 'how to' book by Andreas Moritz. You have to commit to the long haul because you can't stop till you're stone-free for 2 consecutive months. It took 14 sessions to be in the clear and I passed approx 500-600 stones. That many????
