THANK YOU for making this. Those of us who work in film production 😆appreciate it. The first film I ever worked on we had a 6 hour set up and all that happens in the scene was a conversation between a parent and a child. But the way the DP wanted it shot required a massive lighting filming rig. One of Doctor Who's worst as the End of Time part II when they are wheeling poor David Tenant down the stairs, he had just had surgery and his back was in agony during the shot.
You couldn’t keep my cat, Cora, away from an empty box. Even if the box was too small, you couldn’t stop her. The poor tiny box didn’t stand a chance. 😹
I remember reading in Dr Who Mag back in the day during filming, Moffat writing a bit where he talked about writing a scene involving “the thing on a thing through thing’ and how after originally being cut was now going to happen [ 7:37 ]
Sometimes in films and TV, it's the simpler things that prove the most difficult to do. E.g. What do you think is the most expensive scene in Hot Fuzz? The big shootout? The church spire falling? The car chase at the end? Nope. The most expensive scene to shoot in Hot Fuzz is the scene where Nicholas and Danny are watching Point Break and Bad Boys II. Reason, they had to pay and get permission to use footage from the films to use in the movie.
The sad thing is that the concept could have worked if one of the robot's two creators hadn't tragically died before the first episode was recorded, leaving behind undocumented software that nobody else could effectively operate.

Cats aren't good actors, trained or not. So remember, whenever you watch a movie/show with a cat, there was most definitely some frustration behind the scenes
The Stonehenge shoot - I don't remember it ever being explained why so many shots of the Doctor were mirrored, so that his hair's direction keep changing. 😛

I've always had a soft spot for "The Unquiet Dead", in part because I saw it while visiting a friend in Cornwall who's also a massive Doctor Who fan. Even though it was first broadcast April 9, 2005, it always struck me as a Christmas episode (which is another reason why I'm so fond of it). Is there some sort of way to petition whoever does the next Christmas episode marathon to include it?
Ellie, bless you for saying "the Gower Peninsula"! Might sound odd but so many people say "the Gower", something that drove my dear, late mum up the wall! (She was a Swansea girl.) It's either "Gower" (no "the") or the full version. Mum would love you for being correct 😊
