#10 The Day We Almost Lost Our Family! 

When I called my husband after attending the Okie Homestead event and told him about what happened. That's the first thing he said was that you were there to talk about planting seeds, but you still did by planting seeds of faith in all who attended! God is using you mightily! Almost 15 years ago we lost our 13 yr old boy in an ATV accident. I am so glad that you all came out of this. It took us a long time but we went back to riding. As you said living farm life comes with dangers but it also very rewarding. All my love to you. Faith keeps you going.

I watched this first time, and so moved by the Power of God. His hand was on you, to tell others how great He is. Love you all.

22 years ago my daughter was almost killed in a 4 wheeler accident. After weeks in the hospital, 13 major injuries (including 3 brain bleeds a broken back and her face ripped off from the nose down) and months of intense therapy she made it through. She still has memory and back issues and always will but she lived because of all the prayers. We didn’t have social media back then but we had prayer chains ! I am so glad that everyone is okay and will heal well. God is good!!!

Don't ever be sorry for loving your kids so much it makes you cry for them being safe. So thankful you are all ok, I adore watching you all. Sending love from UK

Our oldest daughter passed away from a severe asthma attack. She was 12 and it was the roughest and most horrible Experience I ever went through. From her Turing blue to CPR and her passing away. Even though she went to heaven God was with me, her, & our Family. Prayers for your healing. We share our Strong Faith and talk about it too on our channel due to our loss. We push forward because that is what she would want us to do. Thank God for everything for sure.

My sons were in a roll (4-5 times) over accident on the way to college. Their tire blew out & they were in a Ford Explorer, known to the same accident. The Explorer crushed like a tine can & all the windows blew out. Same as you they survived, Cody with a mild concussion & Wesley with a laceration that needed stitches. This was the first day out of the nest for Wesley. God sent their angels to protect them. God is in control of every details of our lives. 🙏🏼🕊️💙

When I heard you talk about the accident at the Okie homestead expo, I thanked the Lord he kept you all with us. I am so grateful no one was badly hurt. 🙏

As a former medic, I can tell you the best thing I could do after my patient was airborne, is care for the hearts of parents. I'm so sorry this happened but so glad that firefighter knew it was important to just let you process it all. God bless you and the kids. So glad they are ok.

I'm seeing this video in May 2024. I was hit by the raw emotion but also when you discussed your faith. My daughter moved over 7 hours away in Nov 2023 and is in my daily prayers with me asking for God to watch over her and protect her. Friday afternoon before Christmas (a 3-day weekend), she was driving an hour away from her new home and her car broke down. She was able to get her car to a safe location but we were too far away to help. She called an auto parts store explaining her situation. The gentleman referred her to a mechanic. The mechanic came out and checked her car but couldn't assist but he used his last tow of the year to have her car towed to the dealership and he asked another friend if she could borrow his spare car which he did. It ended up being her tranny which the mechanic took care of. We had 3 angels helping her that day. A reminder that you may be helping God answer someone else's prayers. God bless you all!

This is a remarkable story of love within a family. My daughter, Emma, was kicked by a horse at the age of thirteen and received a concussion with a depressed skull fracture as a result. I remember praying on the way to the hospital to just make her brain be okay. She recovered so well that she is now a veterinarian training to be a veterinary anesthesiologist. I still remember that terror because you love your children more than anything. I am so happy for you that your lovely family had a happy ending to your story. May God continue to bless you all.

Oh my gosh, I have never heard such a heart wrenching story. This is an amazing story, and we are with you 100%. Just so you know that I am not necessarily a believer, but your story did affect me. I’ve recently tried to pray for my son who has been struggling. And so far, it has worked. Not sure that it is my prayer that worked or just the normal fate, but I’m still willing to try.

I can't imagine how cold the grip of fear on your hearts were in that 2 hour period that you were in route to the hospital.

My wife was in the ER at OU the same night y’all were there and I was pretty sure at the time that I saw DeJay. I wanted to say hi and that I was praying for you but I didn’t want to bother you. I’m thankful your situation turned out so well when it could have gone so badly!

When I hear stories like yours it gives me a warmth in my heart. I’ve always said that “ I don’t believe in miracles I depend on them”! Many years ago when my kids were young they tended to bring home strays. I don’t mean critters ( those too)I mean other kids. The ones whose parents couldn’t care less. I was shocked that there really were people like that. Anyway there was more than once I didn’t have anything to feed them and no money to get more. Once the church across the street that I’d never met sent several pizzas over. They said they’d had pizza night and these were left . They said they knew I helped a lot of needful kids so they felt they should send them over. One Christmas there wasn’t much money but I worried about feeding the kids at least one great dinner. One of the kids that had grown up and was doing well pulled into the driveway honking the horn. He yelled for them to come and unload these groceries. He had bought literally a pickup truck full of food! I was in shock! He said I know how many you feed and how hard it is to buy food for them. Later in the day another big kid lol pulled up the same way! God is always aware of even the simplest needs. If you’re honest and trying to help where it’s really needed he’s got your back ! I’m so glad your family is ok !

We are all blessed that there are people like that around to help when & where needed. I am so glad your kids were ok

Recently during my devotional with Jimmy Houston got it put on my heart that the arms family needed protection needed prayer, I truly believe God saved you guys I'm so thankful I pray for the protection of your family I praise God's holy name for watching over you and taking care of you all. I am very thankful you are all okay!♥️ I also had a miracle, I spent 46 days in Dallas Presbyterian in Dallas, Texas. I had acute severe pancreatitis with two pseudocyst, I am fine now. Thanks to all the people praying and my brilliant doctor, I have never had pancreatitis again. God is good!🙏♥️🙏

18 years ago come May, my family went through something similar. My brothers were in a bad car accident coming back from our other farm an hour away. Both were med flighted to UW Madison for their injuries. My mother and then sister-in-law spent a week at the hospital making the decisions while my father and I took care of the milking and care of the cows. Luckily both were released within 2 weeks and by the end of summer were back to normal. God does work in mysterious ways. Glad everyone is doing OK

I Remember the day my dad called me about my mothers wreck on her trike motorcycle. He was a retired Air Force pilot. I had never heard him so hysterical! He has never sounded like that. It was awful! It was the worst day ever! I’m so thankful for your family to be ok!

Amen brother. I’m a Disabled law enforcement officer from Hancock County Mississippi. It’s hard on us out there. No one knows what a officer has to go through until it happens. My brother and to his family you are in my prayers. Like I tell my family God has a reason for us to be here.I have gone through two divorces in law enforcement and now I’m 63 and single it like I have no friends. When I was in law enforcement I had lots of people call me as a friend now I don’t hear from anyone of them. God bless you and your family my brother God has us here for a reason

As a Trauma Center RN this is an all to frequent part of what we do. Praise God for these pilots, paramedics, EMTs, firefighters who make these rescues and transports happen safely. The amount of moving parts that coordinate this is amazing. The staff in the Trauma Bays are incredible as well. Even though the Injury Severity Scores may not have been that high, this level of care is provided because of the potential of severe injury from the mechanisms. God Bless your family.

My daughter was about 6 when she was riding thru the front of our property on her quad when the throttle stuck. She was flying thru the front yard screaming daddy, my husband was flying across the yard as fast as he could. She flew off just at the right time because the quad rolled across a the road and nailed a pretty big rock/boulder. She was a little sore but that was it. My husband said the way she said his name was heart wrenching. It was by the grace of God that she was saved. I love your guys channel, I am so thankful your family is safe!

I am new to your channel. This is the 2nd video I have watched. I also watch Eddy Family Farm. Daniel, I can’t imagine the sheer terror of watching 3 of your family members careening down a hillside backwards out of control. I am a Christian and I know that God performs miracles. Our great niece Emma was diagnosed with leukemia at 8 months old and she received treatment for 2 1/2 years. She is 13 and still in remission. I know what it is like to beg God for his mercy and I know what it is like to receive it. Thank you and your wife for sharing your story and planting seeds. May God bless you all.
