10 Things About Mighty Aphrodite (1995) - Mira Sorvino Trivia, Casting More 

There is no better writer than Woody Allen... And not a bad actor also showing the Jewish nebish character... Mary sorvino was excellent and a great find... And so was everybody in the movie... Helena Bonham Carter.. was excellent... And the Greek chorus... Was a truly unique addiction and addition... My education is very esoteric... And I not only read Greek... But also the history of the playwrights in the Greek period... What a great fusion of Greek tragedy and comedy...

Anche questo è un ottimo film di Woody Allen:divertente, intelligente, geniale,straordinario come moltissimi film del grande regista. WOODY SEI UN VERO GENIO. ❤❤❤

Great movie

Woody Allen movies or highly intellectual... His last night in Paris this full of illusions.. allusions... I love Google when I dictate to it... But this is one of his finest movies particularly showing the Greek chorus... Which seems totally off the wall... But actually works out really well with a comedy... Helena. Was excellent... And Mira sorvino... Also an intellectual... Really had great fun... With costume voice and acting to make a very sympathetic character

Love the name of this channel;"WoodyAllen Pages"-fabulous!Mira Sorvino and Quentin Tarantino(Woody Allen soundalike-coincidence,or what?!)-as celebratory couple..and he also an equally prize winning writer/director and bit player actor(unlike Allen who starred fully as main characters in his films..).Ergo Mira Sorvino fancies and admires intellectual film makers with quirky mannerisms and film making processes.Allen wins hands down for sheer output-1st film 1965-most recent 2018.Tarantino 1st film 1992-most recent 2018?Either way-she has great taste in men/films and is very funny and attractive-definitely deserved her best supporting actor statuette-12 inches of golden shower adoration-Mira we salute ye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of this has nothing to do with the damn film. Anyway, here's something else: We sort of forget about Max during the film when he isn't on screen for so long.

Boring and barely related to the film.

Woody's funny quips and self deprecating humour unfortunately don't save this bore fest. Mira is stunning but her annoying voice grates (I presume this was intentional). It just seems so contrived and unrealistic. Different times even as relatively short a time ago as 1995 I guess, now it just seems to be trying too hard to be "quirky"
