Fun fact for the Branded Lost Part: you can End the fusion summoning chain on summon of mirrorjade by activating mirrorjades effect instantly and your opponent cant respond too it because its still summoning window just for those people wich still dont know that. Abuse it to get rid of problematik cards ❤
Can you on that same window also chain other of your own quick effects and also opponent wouldnt be able to respond? Like on summon chain 1 Mirrorjade, chain 2 twin twisters, chain 3 a set imperm, etc?
Wow I didn’t know that! So even though MJ effect isn’t on summon if you chain on summon that’s still part of the summon window? I thought the summon resolves so they are able to chain after you activate Mj effect on summon?
Something that many might know and some might not is that if the activation of Branded fusion is negated, you can still activate another one after, due to the “you can only activate one branded fusion per turn.” Since the activation of the fist branded fusion was negated, you can attempt to activate another one. This came in handy against sword soul when they negated my branded fusion with Baronne, I then used Albion to dump retribution and fetch back the branded fusion so that I could carry on playing. “Negate the activation” will let you play another one with the example of Baronne. however “Negate the effect” means the activation still resolves, you won’t be able to activate another BF if ashed Just to clarify
That Rindbrumm play under Arise-Heart can actually be extended by going for Lubellion first so you can, at the cost of 2 discards: also get the Mercourier search (for Albaz to NS & fuse away Arise-Heart for Mirrorjade); still make Rindbrumm that can still negate Arise-Heart when its mandatory trigger goes off again in the next chain bc of the Lubellion discard in order to bounce Shangri-Ira; and you even get an extra body that stays on field in Lubellion while setting up an Albaz in GY for a potential Cartesia SS from hand. With this line you can fully out the Shangri-Ira *and* the Arise-Heart with 1 Branded Fusion *while* setting up your Mirrorjade as long as their Arise-Heart starts your turn with only 1 material. If they start with 2+ materials under Arise-Heart, don't bother going for this extended line since Arise-Heart will just chain to Albaz to banish it FD anyway as this line *does* allow the first Arise-Heart trigger to resolve, potentially attaching the discard off Lubellion.
For the record, there are "summons that don't start a chain" that necrovalley can negate, such as grapha. Since Lubellion is a nonster that can't be normal summoned or set, the way to summon it is a summon procedure and not an effect.
I think at every ycs : the 1st place winner should have to play against the best Konami employee at playing the game(example Billy B. Etc) , kinda like a final boss like the old Pokémon games. That would be very entertaining
The only issue with the last point is that they will also have a fenrir, and will then banish your rindbrumm. You are now left with a hand that if u don't have albaz, it becomes awkward to get to mirror jade or anything else to break through the arise heart
If they haven't locked enough zones, I go for bouncing Arise-Heart instead. They'll banish Rind with Fenrir, so it is now one Shang vs your hand. 1 Fusion Deployment can win it there honestly.
@Sean Joyner if u activate merc u will not be able to use rindbrumm to negate arise and then ur rind will be banished by fenrir without having removed something from the field.
3:30 Rulkallos CAN be activated in this situation, it just won't do anything. 11:12 This was actually a 2 for 2! Don't sell yourself short lol. Plus, Branded Fusion will give you way more pluses after you resolve it.
isnt branded lost wrong? After you summon mirrorjade. You have prioritize IF those are quick eff (example mirrorjade banish). If your opponent has a trap card, before you can use your spell speed 1 (example bystial lubellion summon), your opponent can activate their trap card first because it's their priority now.
I was playing at locals this weekend. Im running Branded Witchcrafters and ran into a Branded Despia player. He had a Dragostapelia and Rindbrumm on field agienst my Mirrorjade. He used Dracostapelia to negate my Mirrorjade but since he had Rindbrumm on field I could not chain Mirrorjade. But he just negated his own Dracostapelia in order to get the bounce effect. It is a very strong move.

Regarding the specific scenario shown at 11:39 about super poly and lost, You are correct, however the scenario you showed is very different then what you talked about. If your opp chains to banish Lost then its gone regardless. There is no need to protect super poly as it says "Neither player can activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation". In this specific scenario i dont think activating lost first would help at all unless you want to bait the banish eff of arise heart, which i find pointless, (OR it does not yet have enough materials to activate as shown in scenario) not to mention it will set off all the other interactions possibly blocking all your other zones. (With that specific board going 2nd you usually have 3 -4 zones locked already and a fenrir on board as well) Now i do understand that if opp has a fenrir on board in addition to the board shown then yes you may want to protect the starving venom so it can activate, but i dont know how likely Opp is to let Lost resolve knowing what usually happens next.
3:55 important thing to know is that for Branded Lost to prevent the opponent from responding to your fusion summons, the effect that fusions summons NEEDS to have been CL1. If after branded fusion resolves you go CL1 Branded Lost CL2 Albion, your opponent can indeed respond to Lubellion the Searing Dragon's summon.
really? on MD it wasnt like that. No matter if you CL 1 branded lost or CL 1 albion, as long as the first CL isnt for example tragedy or libitum, your opponent cant respond. Because I always did this, and the opponent doesnt get a prompt even if they have a runick card. Although idk if in the real tournament has different ruling.
imo they should make effects simpler. example, make necrovalley say ''cards cannot move from grave to other places''. i know it might be more powerful but that would keep lots of card text problems out of the way: look at Lubellion at 4:55, i didnt know of this thing until now! Also would be nice if the effects in the end phase said that theyre ignition effects so that you actually know you dont need a chain

@Chunkyownyou full fledged kash board, rind won't break it alone. It will, however, force everything on their board to burn their once per turn effects, or the board gets broken quite easily.
A small clarification on Branded Lost. The reason Ash can negate it is because you are negating a card effect which has the possibility of sending a card to the GY from deck, not specifically the fusion summoning effect. Because you COULD send from deck, Ash can be activated in response and it can negated even if Lost is on the field
He is correct as to why Lost does not protect Branded Fusion from Ash Blossom. You are correct as to why Ash Blossom can be activated in response to Branded Fusion. I think you're both talking about different rulings though. For example, Ghost Belle cannot negate Branded in Red red or Brandon Banishment while Lost is on the field, because she specifically negates activations, not effects.

@@niallocarroll4450 Ash works, because Ash negates effects, not because she doesn't stop fusion summons. Ghost Belle also doesn't stop fusion summons, but she doesn't work under Lost. That's why I brought her up. Branded Lost only protects from cards that negate ACTIVATIONS of cards, and ACTIVATIONS of effects.
your "clarification" is not really correct. branded lost basically says that fusion summoning stuff cannot have their activations negated but you can still negate the effects. ash negates the effect, so it works. belle negates the activation, so it does not work.

3:20 he is wrong, the opponent can activate any card that negates like bell, solemn judgement etc, but the effect fusion won’t ne negated, So if I activate branded fusion and my opponent chain solemn judgement, The opponent pays the cost, judgement resolves, then my fusion resolves because fusion cannot be negated
i was told at a locals the situation, i activated Quaritis to drop to 0, opponent chained imperm targeting my monster and i chain comedy from gy to get Quaretis out of the way Judge had told me the effect chased its target to gy..........im lost im under the belief it doesnt chase to gy it loses target but hey im no judge, if it is the case my locals might screwed me on more than 1 occasion lol like its alright for fun locals but last time i went it was for medals and 1 judge proxy'd and lucky more than 1 there to point out xyz materials dont get banished off of d fissure, would of been nice to know sooner given my 2 bystials being dead drawn by 2 turns tho 😒

I came to find out more about this because I just lost a game precisely because of this situation. I activated branded lost, branded fusion and received Ash. I was pissed and confused at the same time
@@dethndots6959 Because Rindbrumm is a When/Quick effect it has to respond directly to what you want to negate with it - and by the time you choose to activate the effect, Mercouriers trigger effect will miss its activation timing.
Rulkallos can activate the negating effect when you activate branded fusion and branded in lost is already on the field. Rulkallos wont negate thou, but Tearlament fusion can activate and will resolve with no effect. Same for solemn judgment . Saludos desde Nicaragua
Totally not necessary but if you really want to can also add shadoll construct so you can dump any of your despia fairies… extra deck space is tight though would rather just throw in another albaz fusion

First of all its an extra way to get into b fusion (through kitt) not to mention that kitt can ss in that case meaning you can dump tragedy with b fusion and ns aluber to extend. Alternatively its free discard fodder that can be discarded on repeat. Card is a mandatory 1 of if you know what yiure doing
@@MrOkusicisb i hear ya. I like to set up my branded banishment and sometimes I don’t have a despia in GY. It really just depends on the hand you’re dealt and what monsters you wanna put out. As long as I end with mirror jade, rindbrumm, and some bystials with back row i feel little safe. Was not disagreeing at all I love branded high spirits. I was just saying if you really needed to and you ended with all despias and a high spirits in hand you can still search what you need by dumping tragedy. (If aluber gets ashed or whatever it’s not bad follow up)
Necrovalley actually can negate Lubellion, just because it’s not an activated effect doesn’t mean it’s not an effect. Necrovalley says nothing about “activation” only “effects”.

@@chlobot69420 if a card says special summon (from hand), it is an inherent summon which never starts a chain and is never treated as an effect, it is just a summon. same for dark world grapha and reign beaux.
@@VORTEX___ Konami has officially ruled that you cannot summon Grapha from grave under Necrovalley, but that you can summon The Bystial Lubellion. The reason is that The Bystial Lubellion’s text is a summoning condition, whereas Grapha’s text is an effect to summon (it is not an activated effect and does not start a chain but as in my original comment Necrovalley doesn’t care about activations, only effects). Basically you have to look at the Japanese text of a card, and if its summoning condition is just printed there then it isn’t an effect, but if it’s numbered then it IS an effect and therefore will be negated by Necrovalley.
It summons Cartesia which facilitates as a pseudo Poly for the deck if you don't play the patchwork engine and it helps dodge imperm for aluber and other cards
Accesscode only prevents activations in response to / as the next chain link of the current chain where accesscode is the highest on the chain link. Once the chain resolves any quick effects can be activated where the opponent can then veiler.
