I just started with this game this month. I've played Breakpoint before, it was my first Ghost Recon game, and I liked it. But despite having less of the cool gameplay mechanics they added to Breakpoint, I'm loving Wildlands more. The more "lived-in" world of Wildlands alone takes the cake. From the variety of animals that spawns depending on the area/enviroment on the map adds a lot to immersion and realism. I wonder why they removed a lot of these "feels" from Wildlands. But then again, Ubisoft does this to the Far Cry series as well. They add new cool things, but replace or totally remove the older but also cool ones.
Point 10 is the biggest difference between Wildlands and Breakpoint imo. And you forgot to mention the existance of a dang radio! Nevermind AI Teammate chatter, let me have some entertainment while I travel that dang island! :D
aaaww man how could I forget about Dj Perico and the sweet tunes of Santa Blanca Radio lol, I should have added that with part 10, there was also a radio news report that would speak on some of the targets you took down, lol fun times
@@CinematicTactics IKR, It was basically a DJ Perico PSA and it went something like "just be responsible like me, I don't do any cocaine between 2:00PM and 6:00PM" 🤣. Someone posted a bunch of DJ Perico dialog on RU-vid but sadly it didn't include that one.
Not to mention Midas, Holt and weaver feel more fleshed out as characters. Fury, Fixit and Vasily more often than not are just there, and the only time they ever talk is to spot enemies.
wildlands has a better world, better skill tree, better driving mechanics, and better more interesting story. wildlands has the faction skills as well. I like the weapon customization added to Breakpoint but most of the upgrades dont make much difference so it doesnt feel very useful even if its cool. Overall I think Wildlands is the better game but I love both and am looking forward to the next one.
Wildland s was good and all but enemy Ai can see in the dark which really sucked cause, I like night missions specially if you have to do infiltration.
yea the enemy AI in wildlands was programmed like super soldiers with futuristic gear lol, meanwhile they were just regular guys with uzi's, you set of an c4 a couple miles away and they still know exactly where you are at
What Wildlands did make better than Breakpoint? The fit of all cloths on female body is much better. In Breakpoint, all cloths are made for male bodies and looks curious on female bodies. But the cars (models and the driving physics) is better, motorcycle helicopter physics is much better in Wildlands
The entire experience of Wldlands was just more tangible... grittier, and more visceral. Breakpoint just seems way too shine and polish, in comparison.
Most of these are little bit irrelevant though when it comes to the combat. One thing, in which BR beat the shit out of WL is the enemy AI of Sentinels. As someone, who plays FEAR now (which has phenomenal AI), i can easily say, that Sentinels are on similar level as Replica soldiers. Sentinels are not using cheap cheats like Unidad or Cartels, which is completely immersion breaking. I hate dealing with AI that cheats. In BR, Sentinels don´t have aimbot. They have to deal with recoil and bullet spread, like the player. They are flanking the player constantly and working as a team. I love the enemy AI so much. Stealth is non existed in WL. AI can see the player through bushes, mud, etc - in BR, i can go prone camo, use vegetation as a stealth element. The injury system in BR is also miles ahead over WL and its cheap... auto-heal lol. Auto-heal is a joke for a tactical milsim experience. The combat, stealth, enemy AI, CQB aspect and the urgency and fatality is just more immersive in BR which is for me important, than anything else in a game like this.
Which is why I wont ever argue that breakpoint has better combat, just to clarify, in no way shape or form is this video implying "10 things that make wildlands a better game than breakpoint" even tho I honestly miss cinematic mission briefing and think the a.i. teammates are lack luster in breakpoint, for me breakpoint is a better game overal, I was also working on a "10 things breakpoint does better" but it was just an unfair fight and felt pointless, so I just showed wildlands some love to spark some memories and create conversations.
@@fn1709 FEAR is a game from 2005 and the AI would beat the shit out of like 99% tacticool shooter games today. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory has amazing AI also from 2005. Old Half Life games have good AI. But not modern shooter games, something is just wrong.
@@fn1709 yeah making everything nonstop online and in game store with microtransactions with shitty optimization is a top priority for gaming industry right now. and NFTs and other bullshit.
