I feel like there needs to be an option between 1st and 3rd person perspective as well as the use of the AI squad. I love how customizable Breakpoint is and hope they continue to build on that foundation for Project Over.

Ive been craving a tactical stealth modern military game We don't get enough of them

I just hope it doesn't need to have a internet connection to play like breakpoint

I like it being 3rd person

every military game is first person, this was all we 3rd person folks had. Oh well.

It NEEDS to have a 3rd person, i like to look at my character while playing and if i cant.. i dont spend hours customizing my character. The character customization was a big step foward in GRBP. (And i need an open world, it doesnt have to be big, just immersive and nice to be in)

Nooo not the first person, these 3rd person animations much cooler, they were top notch... The animations when going down a steep slope !

If it's first person I'm not buying it, point blank. I've bought all of them and there's enough first person military shooters out there. I don't need another one.

I really liked Breakpoint (the fixed version). The new one sounds good except for the 1st person which seems very disappointing.

the thing I like about 3rd person is if stealth is going to be a viable option then can you know whether part of you is exposed/visible from a particular angle in a way that it's impossible to tell in 1st person

They literally scrapped the BR frontlines because of the major backlash it was first person! They literally can’t get much right atall

They gotta keep the 3'rd person. Personally I've found it helps alot with immersion, walking around etc.

Wildlands was a blast to play. It's unfortunate (for me) that they are kinda veering from the 3rd person view. Seeing customization and roleplaying is important for me in games. FPS games make you feel like you need to be moving fast and rushing to get things done.

Right now I'm playing ghost recon Wildlands. Very good game.

I really liked The idea of being first person. But, I do think that having 1st person option and also have the option to play in 3rd person is the right Path to walk

Dream Ghost Recon: (All right here we go) 1. Set in a wildlands like settings with different and diverse areas with many types of enemies. 2. In depth customization that goes further than just helmets, gear, etc, diving into modifications such as ir strobes and individual armor, gear placement. 3. No super futuristic stuff, stick to basics. Farthest you could go might be an advanced security system or TOC team for the enemies. 4. Refined breakpoint mechanics with more takedowns and a better job of showing those unique takedowns often rather than having them only happen in certain events. 5. Idk at this point, in all, refine Breakpoint, diverse enemies and areas, stick to our modern era or around it, in depth customization, better enemy AI and some sort of TOC for them to help them hunt you down.

I personally really like 3rd person. Another thought I had while playing Wildlands was that it would be cool if on the next volume, the entire squad could ride the motor bikes. It wold be awesome if your teamates followed you on their bikes.

As much as I love ghost recon and assassins creed games I don't think I'll be doing business with any company that thinks I should be "renting" games from them or think they should be allowed to revoke my playing privileges.

If this is more like Ground Branch, it may fare well. If it ends up like a COD campaign, it will be the death blow to the franchise. Sadly, i have no hope from Ubi. Pretty bummed at no 3rd person but if its actually tactical and has mechanics from GB, Ready or Not and others, it may hit the mark

I actually liked Breakpoint a lot after some of the updates. It was one of the best stealth games of the last generation. I WAS excited for the next installment until you said first person. That completely kills the game for me. This leak better be completely fake.

It wouldn't surprise me if they completely destroyed this game and took away third person altogether when they could give us first and third person to make it with the community wants and that's exactly what they will not do... No third person no purchase

There’s a 3rd person mod for GR1… and a mod that allows you to see the weapon models. I hope the next one let’s you choose between whatever perspective you want.

I'd love for you to do a gameplay series on Watch Dogs Legion resistance mode and see how long you survive since prime of death is automatically and permanently turned on in that mode and it's more difficult than the normal modes of the game

I absolutely love Ghost Recon! I've been playing since GRAW2. I understand the controversy of the First Person aspect and actually would want an option between 1st & 3rd person in game like GTA5. But what I hear so far with the story and gritty moments in the game sounds awesome to me. Let's just hope they don't screw it up ( getting PTSD flashbacks from Breakpoint's launch)🤞.

I really enjoy the old GRAW on PC back in the day, those games were tactical fps too and this back to basics sound very good for someone like me who enjoy those games!

Yay as if we don't already have enough first-person shooters on the market, let's take the last true third-person military tactical shooter to first person so the genre dies. Such a great idea. (Sarcasm)

I was watching a recent podcast with some ex Spec Ops vet and he had said he was working with a company on a new military video game. I can only pray he was talking about Ubisoft and the Ghost Recon title.

they should just give an option for 1st person... i think 3rd person going into 1st when aiming is fine how it is... why have all of that cool gear if you never see it... 3rd person is where its at.

Despite some people saying "no future stuff", I would like to have near-future, Ghost Recon-style tech. Their take on gun-cam, sensors. Usable, meaningful Cross-Com. Something like Advanced Warfighter, some Future Soldier. Mix that with better squad command and control, it would help it feel more like old-school Ghost Recon. Not just "SOCOM" or "DELTA FORCE" with a different name.

It sounds like it's going in the right direction, but do I trust Ubisoft to actually deliver? Not really - I'm sure they'll find a way to fuck it up.

The question is can you play with your friends online. This way you can get with friends and run through the story together like they do in Ready or Not.

I don't really mind if it's first or third person, I just hope that the stealth works cause nothing makes me happier than perfect stealth/ eliminating as few people as possible to get the objective done.

I just want it to be open-world. I prefer third person over first person when it comes to stealth, but the most important thing for me is open-world (preferably immersive and with no hand-holding), to be able to approach every mission in an infinite amount of ways.

Ghost Recon should have an option for both Third Person and First Person to give players their own option to play and should increase the co-op to 8 man co-op that would be cool in my opinion

I hate that they are going to first person, I have loved this game series since the start and I’m so sad to see them just further saturate the market with first person shooters. I was so stoked for this game till this news. Why can’t we just have one good third person tactical shooter. It’s so much better I feel for a true tactical shooter you’re more aware of your body position and cover positions. First person you can’t even turn your head without turning your entire body. Uughhh!

Grc needs an open world Middle Eastern fps/3ps optional shooter with realistic style objectives , (hostage rescue ,shutting down arms deals ,escorting convoys ,etc.. ) have an overall corrupt government ,an extremist organization , and also a PMC conpany operating in alliance with that government , but also a friendly resistance faction to work with also , and the ability to call in QRF at times if needed and medevac and an extraction upon comoletion of objectives and some side missions

Looking forward to it. I just hope the vehicles are first person view as well.

If they allow us to controll squads like in older ghost recon games it would be awesome

I think if they take the over the shoulder shooting option away and make it only squad based it’s gonna hurt Ubisoft. Give people options.

Ubi should just give the player a setting toggle to let them decide if they want to play in 3rd or 1st person. If they had to pick just one though, I'm on team 1st person.

3rd person all the way bro. If it’s gonna be first person only then I’m already not interested.

Ubisoft is slowly gaining identity back in their games, we’ve gotten to a stage where all of them were rpgs and had the farcry/ac formula just slightly different gameplay. GR is milsim, keep it that way, division is the grounded looter shooter (div 3 better not disappoint) and ac… seems like it’ll never recover.

I just hope we get fps and tps options plus more guns and customization options

I remember when this was 1st person. 3rd person is freat but i really need a really tactical 1st person shooter co op shooter.

No SHOT!!! For the first time ever i saw that Breakpoint had a sale on steam and i just thought that i might search if there are any "leaks" somehow with a new Ghost Recon game but i forget, Sooner like 2 hours (right now) i open youtube and see THIS!

I am hoping we can have the option to switch between first person and 3rd person views. All the character customization goes to waste once you are stuck in first person.

I like the third person better before aiming, allows me to see a bit better surrounding my character before engaging/traversing.

It's funny that you showed Future Soldier at 3:31 when referencing "arcadey", and then tried to put it on Breakpoint. Be honest, Future soldier was more "arcade" than any other.

The beginning of breakpoint is difficult to get into but getting past it and getting into the mid to end game is really good especially the 2nd and 3rd episode was really good

There are 30 first person shooter games like this. Only Ghost Recon is 3rd person. If they want to be the 31st fps, they don't realize that Ubisoft recently sucks at making games and they will go down against the competition

I love first person but I wish they could’ve also add 3rd person because I loved customizing my character and being able to look at it and I hope they add detail to the gear like mil sim games I feel like breakpoints gear and even wild lands gear lacked detail

The big issue I had with breakpoint was how empty the world was. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the drones either

That would be awesome if they returned back to the first person shooter but they should add the option to play in third person, I also like in Breakpoint they added the ballistics aspect to move into the realism.

Tbh, if its going to be first person, they could bring some mechanics from advanced war fighter 2, like a overview map where you can control your squad but it might be more intresting if they made it not 3 ai companions but like 7 ai ansd gave them more options than move there, open/hold fire and hold position.

I'd like a really good gore system. Not just blood spurts, I'm talking like...Soldier of Fortune style.

Scrapping the 3rd person camera would be a huge mistake imo. First person will just make it feel like a CoD campaign and makes all the gear you can equip meaningless

Break point is a good game, have solid gun play. Cool mechanic, enemy, beautiful graphic, ok story ( if you have all the dlc), the map are diverse and gorgeous. But it a bit empty. The lack of civilians roaming makes it feels so empty compare to wildland.

Wildlands is still a boss game even in single player campaign I fricking loved it I became really adept at playing the game, loved the sniping and the weapon parts unlocks and weapon cache unlocks stuff like that I really enjoyed that. Wasn't massively keen on the chopper mechanics and fly mechanics but I liked everything else. I had that future soldier shroud but I never did play that Predator DLC.

I mean, only the kids who started on Future Soldier would be mad about the FPS.

I mean, I wouldn't mind, but i do like the third to 1st person aspect, like you can switch between the two

Have the option of both. First person sucks so much, don't think I would play if it's first person.

There should be an option for 3rd person perspective. Shouldn't make the game too advance in warfare. Drones are ok up to some point. Customizable characters same as in breakpoint, Able to drop in via halo or haho, sub infil, no robot tanks or any AI that assists in fire fights

So much for customizing our gear and making our characters look exactly the way that we want now that's pretty much all thrown out the door special thanks to Ghost Recon for screwing this up for the third person fans

I'm really looking forward to this game I've always wanted Ghost Recon to have 1st person but it would be nice to have a 3rd person option for those who don't like 1st person, really hope they cut back on all the robotic stuff like in breakpoint and hope it's a little like tarkav in the realism

Wildlands and breakpoint both had first person mods on PC, really made me jealous as a console player. So if this new title supposedly is in first person I'm all for it.

I remember playing the first ghost recon so I’m super hyped to be going back to first person. Ofc the option to switch between first and third would be even better.

Believe stick third person, wildlands style arcade but first person option in my opinion

My issue is that, even when we get one, it will probably a greyzone type game - online only with multiplayer. i miss the AI comrades and tactics and beeing able to play on your own and create strategys with actual functional and intelligent ai.

Should have kept the squad from wildlands, they had personality

That would be nice, I'd like to see an updated kinda Rogue Spear R6 original Ghost Recon style game. I feel a lot of PC games had these really cool mil-sim games, and then moved away to super arcadey and would like to see a little bit more of that come back a little bit at least.

Half the reason I enjoy Wildlands and Breakpoint is because I can customise and SEE my character in the 3rd person.

If their gonna make this game first person they atleast need to give options to also have 3rd person to satisfy both the fans of the 3rd person ghost recon franchise and 1st person shooter fans

I played breakpoint after they added the realism stuff. It was one of my absolute favorite of the series

I understand people dont like the fps theres really 2 ways they should go. 1.make it optional to switch from fps to tps ...or 2 have it fps but cover styem shows your whole out fit also thru in blind fire like those features would make the game
