idk why, but one part of me think it’s an amazing idea, while another side of me think it’s a bad idea. Yes, it’s gonna save billions of lives all around the world. From children to adults, no matter how sick they are, they just have to take a pill or something like that. However, as I said before another part of me thinks it’s a bad idea. Because of this pill we are probably gonna get overpopulated which already is a problem. There is not enough resources on this planet for everyone. Not only that but the amount of Co2 in our atmosphere is only going to get even higher and that shit is already a big problem. Idk if this technology is even a worth it with all the cons it brings...
Is it just me who thinks it’s a scary thought that an AI smarter than humans could already exist now that we don’t know about because it knows that if it alerts people to a situation involving it then it would be destroyed, instead, it’s waiting for the right time to do something and it’s right under our noses and we don’t know yet.
We're nowhere near advanced enough for human-intelligence AI, and by the time we are, AI improvement will have been incremental, so something like what you describe will have happened thousands of times on a much smaller scale and the necessary precautions will have been taken.
I agree, personally this whole "futurist" thing scares me. It scares me A LOT. Like these big rich tech guys are like so happy about it too, like they look forward to it, but it really creeps me out. I really wish I could grow up in a time where this shit wasn't happening. It almost angers me because instead of working on tech that is sustainable or helps, instead they are trying to make human robots that could potentially take over the world. Why do they think it's a good idea??!!!! Anyway sorry for the rant, have a good day
@@tessamcnamara2448 it’s the end times by time it’s 2040 the will have created something far more intelligent than us humans and the Antichrist will take over the world with it repent turns to Jesus he always has his arms open, earth is not the place u wanna be when the rapture happens
@@philipingvar3652 you're worried by progress? Why? Progress is always good. I think movies have put that wrong perception in your mind. We're not gonna create humanoid robots with red eyes like you see in movies. They are fiction and are supposed to make you feel a certain way, and ig they worked in your case. Its only progress. Rejoice at progress. Be thankful that you are living in this era
I heard just the contrary from old people. They become more and more afraid of death the closer they get. That's why many end up believing in some god, even the most atheistic.
Immortality is bad. You would have to watch everyone you love die. Over and over. You watch humanity die. You watch the planet die. You are there when the sun explodes. You will drift through space for eternity.
GPT-3 could easily come up with sidemen Sunday ideas! For example, at the beginning of this year Corridor crew had fun it writing scripts for movies and YT clips on their channel! Pretty mind blowing it was.
@@Itsme-xm7vl yes im sure, overpopulation will destroy everything weve created we dont have room for all that. Plus the world is in debt already for everything
literally the other day i was walking past sainsbury’s and a sunstroke orange van thingy had like a door the size of me and i’m like six foot tall and the giza sat in it was like Warwick Davis in a drivers seat
Who wants the future iPhone 20 •8 cameras (high quality) •20 inch bigger than normal phone •includes holographic features •new keyboard/emojis •any colour ect. Cyan, gold, silver, green, pink, turquoise, teal,,vilot and many more •comes with a phone case that you can stick to the wall so you dont have to hold it And MUCH more futuristic details!
just like how these things are weird to us, is how our technology is weird to our parents/grandparents. The people born during those times will grow up with it and wont feel weird abt it at all
Future generations will watch videos like this and they'll laugh and laugh and laugh. Anyone who's old enough to know the old show beyond 2000 knows what I'm talking about.
The brain memory thing I feel like would be like Astro boy. Makes a copy of his on adding all his memories and antics BUT he’s still a different person and own self consciousness
@@KatieStephens oh god so it was filmed even earlier than i thought😭god i really need to stop thinking they're all filmed within a short amount of time and that it's actually a friday🤣
@@TH3L3G3ND Its a shit club and for many german football fans its the same like RB Leipzig. All their history, tradition and success is only based on the fact that they are owned or founded by a rich company.
I had the same problem as harry, I could watch documentaries but I was bored with movies, until the moment when I realized that only movies based on real facts attract me to comedies
I believe an indian space agency just reached polar side of moon which consist of budget less than that of the movie inception or something So now I'm quite relieved that we might be able to visit moon someday at low cost Maybe We are constantly evolving so i can see myself in space 😢
If reverse-aging becomes a thing I could imagine humanity going out into the stars as like a precursor/god race, they would appear to be non-aging, super healthy, and super strong beings, plus the technological advancements would be mind-boggling
Oh no we would be so powerful we would be able to do whatever simple by strength since we can constantly stay in our prime and I’m assuming we don’t lose any strength from reversing our age we could literally lift for like 300+ years then do whatever and imagine the technology we would have to gaining muscle we would be unstoppable assuming we’re the first to come up with it
It'd be a physical solution to long-dustance space travel. Since we could use it every few years (or every day) and survive the whole flight. But that'd drive someone crazy, being in a confined box drifting through space for 1000 years. It makes me wonder, if people lived forever, wouldn't people start forgetting what their experiences in life 2000 years ago as their brain tried tk make space for new experiences. Or would people just not be able to form new memories as their brain basically fills its "storage."
