gameranx FYI, Demolition Ranch (you tuber) attempted to shoot a pad lock with several guns and several calibers and failed to destroy it... for realism, you cannot shoot a lock off a door or fence in real life!!
jumping helps me on gci dodge bullets. it's like a hax I play bitlife, it seems like a lot of repetitive actions that may or may not give you karma. I have no clue for what or why I keep relations with pets, friends, or family. but I make sure their all green. I hate games that don't adequately reward you for your senseless wasting of your time.
Couldn't resist stockpiling consumable items in storage, way beyond usable limits, eventhough you know that the game is near the end, u just wont use or sell any of them instead you thought to yourself, "maybe i'll keep this for rainy days or a boss fight, i'll just find new ones in the next area". No you wont, youll be keeping that too and before you know it, the credit scene rolls. And you realised you've ended the game without using 80% of items you gathered throughout the game. Oh well on to the next game... 😶
Or when you have a big boss fight where you could’ve used the item, so you get it thinking “I’m just keep this so I can have to use the next time” and then you never use it. Lol
@@dayton27 It's so satisfying to save all your ammo, and then when the boss comes they don't know that they are about to be pumped with 7 hours of lead that you conserved
Honestly I never get why my inventory is always full, like 2 hours ago I had half the space and was only slightly over encumbered but now I am even more over encumbered despite the extra inventory? (every game with a limited inventory)
Developers: I think they're going to the new engine! Everyone: How many times can I shoot myself... That one NPC who gets shot: I thought I was your friend...
When you shoot an arrow exactly up and there is no wind it can hit you that's not unrealistic, you should go outside once "sithlord" and throw some rocks or something
"Oh, what's this? Cool, it's a unique item. Yes, it is inferior to what I'm currently using in every possible way. No, I'm not going to sell it or drop it. Must hoard it forever..." I'm looking at you, Bethesda.
In rdr2 if you save some guy he gives you a pen but I'm refusing to sell it or give it away for some reason even though it sells for like 10 dollars I'm not gonna no sir not I
When the game tells me I have maximum ammo and I can't carry any more ammo I shoot few bullets so I don't have to leave the ammo box behind. I never want to leave anything behind. I don't know why I do that.
@@justaneditygangstar two things: First: So that's why video editing is so hard? I'm not doing it right? Wow. Better save more. Second, one time in Skyrim, on my way to Dustman's Barrow for the Companions, I saved every few steps because I was having a hard time with the enemies. I realized later when the skeleton didn't die when I hit it I was playing on legendary difficulty.
Snarky Skyrim Guard: "Did someone steal your sweet roll?" Me: Main menu, Save, return to game and wipe out entire village. Load save game once rage subsides..... Show of hands, who has done this?
For some reason I feel the need to do all the side missions that before I get started on the main story. I've played 20+ hours if horizon zero dawn and not even 15% done with the story
I remember one playthrough of Skyrim I completed the Companions, College of Winderhold, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, most Daedric quests, had houses in all holds except Whiterun and Winterhold, Wolf Queen, Quest for the Ages, Dawnguard, before I even fought my first dragon. I might've gotten some of that wrong. It's been a while.
I hold the acceleration trigger/button down firmly with a lot of force, even though it makes no difference to the speed of vehicles in racing games. Can anyone else relate to that? XD
100% clearing and walking everywhere in a dungeon or a part of the map, even though you know there's nothing left to loot, but you have to make sure, cause there could still be something left Also walking down every side path before going the main path you're actually supposed to take
I do this a lot. Even if it's a game in which, if you spend too long in a dungeon, a undefeatable enemy or a dungeon guardian of some kind just appears and starts chasing you until you get out, I can't resist thoroughly checking the whole place
its important info, knowing that will affect how i play, if fire dont hurt then i dont need to avoid it, if there is no fall damage then i jump down from everywhere i need.
@@cuentaalterna3754 I've taken it a step further by seeing HOW LONG it takes to die to the fire....very important info...if I'm dying and need to run I need to know whether or not I can survive for several seconds running through said fire... after all the quickest route between two points is a straight line
This is the worst rn cause I’m playing a lot of fallout 4 right now and I have a perk that can potentially give me some ammo back when I shoot the last round in the mag so I have to avoid reloading to potentially get the ammo back and it feels wrong
Don't forget when you're in an underground dungeon in an RPG like Skyrim, and you have to check *EVERY* nook and cranny for potential loot, although that could tie into a couple of the points covered in the video
For real first time i played on my switch i heard about the master sword on top of the tallest mountain and me being dumb just jumping against the mountain for a few hours when i finnaly got there and went down again just a few quest later i had to just walk the normal path on the other side of the mountain
@@ognjenilic3001 it comes naturally for TES players... how else can we find that weird ice monster in Oblivion or the Exicution site in the Shivering Isles... there must be something up there. Okay here hold my beer...
I still do it but it can help if u use an lmg In games, lots of ammo in a mag so you're not worried and ridiculous reloading time can prevent you from overdoing it
When you play a game that has an “Interact/Action” button and you use it on EVERYTHING at least once to check if anything happens. Lamp. Tap. Tv. Closet. Fridge. Bed. Oven. Dog. Toilet. Npc. Photo. Rock. Cup. Plant. Etc lol 😂
There's no better feeling than pressing the Interact/Action button on a dog and then petting it. And then again, it's so unsatisfying when you CAN'T pet the dog ( or a cat, if they don't run away from you ). Like, goddammit, just let me pet the damn dog
Getting vehicles where they aren’t supposed to go. “Why are you bringing a warthog into the Silent Cartographer?” “Because the doors are WARTHOG SHAPED!”
i always tried to get the banshee in halo 2 into the tower in the last level.... you could shoot the wings off and make it through.... spent hours as a kid doing it over and over again until i got the ship into the boss fight
I remember playing halo with my cousin and he would always go" you can't bring that vehicle In here" so I'd be like alright bet, and sure enough I'd manage to get vehicles in places you were never supposed to have them lol some were game breaking
100% this. i don't often just save and reload all the damn time, but for a bit of stress relief, saving then massacring a friendly town to then reload without the consequences is too good :D
I wonder if saving the game is something 90s and older kids did. Those days most games didn't have autosave which kind of made most of us save as much as possible to prevent any lost progress or even worse impossible playthroughs
Walking into fire to see if you start burning up. Also: "I wonder if there's fall damage in this game" *proceeds to jump from the highest ledge in the game to test it out*
ducking down to look around a corner as if you can physically duck and the game will let you see more..even looking round corners i do that i know its a game but my brain says you can look around a corner
They literally created the Sixaxis controller for PlayStation because people did this this has been happening since Nintendo Sega Master System I promise you I was there😋
Lydia: *stands next to cliff* Me: thank you for flying air dovahkiin please keep your arms and legs inside the shout at all times and tray table in the upright and lock position thank you and enjoy your fall....I mean flight *FUS RO DAH*
Same! Every fire must be lit! I do this in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey too. The first time, in AC and Witcher, I was thinking, "maybe this will unlock something," "no?," well I better just do it every time anyway.
I do that, but partially cause mods, also, i'm actually a Roleplayer so if I come up with a character concept that appeals to me, i'll look for and install the required mods, then create that character
with my first ever character I finished the game, then it started to bug out (xbox) I got skyrim on the PC created a new character and played for 40 hours, then I created a new one with mods then a new one with mods then a new one with mods and so on. I have probably finished the first main quest with 4-5 of those modded games. (often I will find a game breaking bug due to mods or an issue with the game and get more mods which breaks the current game so I start a new one again)
I love how relatable these examples are! The only other thing I can think to add is reloading all the time, regardless of the game. Almost out of ammo at the end of a fight, reload. Shot a couple enemies, gotta reload. Whoops, fired one bullet, have to reload. Heck MGSV makes it worse because you can reload after reloading. Just reloaded, better add another bullet.
CoD MW Remastered has a trophy/achievement that address that very habit. Don’t reload your weapon until the clip is actually empty, it’s like the dev’s know how we play! :D
this soooo freaking accurate 😂😂 especially the jumping on things, checking the map and looking behind a waterfall. Rise of tomb raider has me going crazy with these things 😂😂
Man there are certain NPCs that you run across in Fallout and Skyrim that you're like hold on good sir I must save my game so I can murder you when I come back fight the guards for 10 minutes while I internally explain why this asshole had to die and then reload the game
I can’t resist taking my time to look at everything and climb everything trying to find little nooks and crannies that are accessible-maybe there’s some secrets. Who knows. It’s all interesting to me.
XtinctTBNR eh....2 and brotherhood will always be the best. 3 has my favorite setting and animations. The original is still my all time favorite. Black flag as hella fun rogue was okay. I don’t like origins or odyssey as assassins creed games they’re just rpgs but both are still fun i was addicted to exploring all of the map in origins lol
Dude I LOVED Origins.. And had so much more fun than Odyssey. And yea, I prob broke everything in that map at least once! Lol. Have fun dude. Great game.
petting animals: everytime a game features a "pet" action button ... you just wanna press it, even though you know its just an animation gimmick which tonnssss of devs since we were kids have put in their games
I always save up on Potions or spells that give certain things like health , mana and such for later in the game but never end up using them. It's always like : Hmm I'll keep this for a future boss or hard part of the game. But when those appear I don't even use them then... It's the same with loot. I'm never throwing it.. why? Maybe I will need it one day again , who knows? In the end I have tons and tons of Large Potions I never use and chests full of gear I'll never ever use , and while I know that is going to happen I still do it all the time... smh RPG fans will get this surely
my right name is about as original as my username. (probably one of the worst parts about me writing a story or creating a D&D character, head smashing the keyboard to get an original but not stupid name even though I can easily look at name generators and stuff, no one will hate it if guard number 13 is named John and Villager number 34 is named Cassidy)
It takes me like 20 to 30 minutes for the right name each time and 2 seconds after starting the game to hate the name and delete the character cause of it
@@dbrx758 He probably means something else, but it is true. In games like elder's scrolls or Fallout is mandatory to save systematically regardless of the autosave. You DON'T want to be autosaved inside an unbeatable arena match in Oblivion , (Elder's Scrolls 3), for example. In such games you need, autosave, quick save, and a ton of different manual saves, to enjoy the game properly :)
@@legend716xerneas3 true and there are lot of them. Even if I haven't seen many game-breaking bugs in the typical Bethesda games, we should indeed have them in consideration. :)
best example for jumping is trying to get up those mountains in skyrim by going directly up the sides. you know the roads are faster but for some reason you still gotta try an "save" time by going up the sides haha
Are you a bot? Or paid to say this? Or do you actually mean it? No offense, I'm just trying to figure out how this kind of content gets likes. I'm truly baffled.
