His beating on drums was vicious as fuck, his whole style so innovative and the double bass on the studiorecording of "Overkill" is so HEAVY you can almost hear the air moving !!! TAYLOR was GOD !!!
I think it may also be because the text is yellow making it more difficult to read with the bright background. If they had of used blue or some other colour maybe it would have been easier to read. Because I had enough time but I was struggling in some spots as it was harder to read because the letters seemed to have been less pronounced then in other spots. But ya good at keeping the readers attention and focus that’s true.
6. "He overdubbed the drums on Motorhead's first record/ 7. All his drum parts were recorded live"... HUH?? 9. "He never played professionally again after Motorhead/After he got fired from Motorhead, Phil played and recorded in a group called The Web of Spider"... WTF?? Look, I'm a reasonable bloke, but I have a hard time with people contradicting themselves in the same breath! LOL
6/7- It means that he had to overdub Lucas Fox's drum parts, which had already been recorded. The claim refers to him not overdubbing any of his own drum parts but instead playing them live straight through. 9- I could be wrong, but I think it means that Web of Spider never really did anything past the demo stage, so could not be deemed a professional project as they never released anything nor toured.
Lem christened him 'Dangerous' simply because he broke the same hand twice in 6 months, first punching a visitor to their squat who wouldn't leave, then after that had almost healed, punching Bobs their tour manager - it was never meant as a permanent nickname...
Just to correct something- technically there were in fact drum overdubs on a couple of places on the AOS album. If you listen really closely you can hear some fills added in.
So basically about 2 things that the average Motorhead fan didn't know....and a few contradictory "facts". Like overdubbing drums on the first album..yet saying he never overdubbed drums in Motorhead. Plus the lettering is hard to read. Are you guys on drugs perchance?
Get ready to pause and skwent your eye bubbles at this one! Too fast for a native speaker of the language since birth & fooking ell!! yellow? YELLOW ? yellow words on mostly white backgrounds!!! Sheesh!
