Great video. Enjoyable. I wanted to offer a bit of info. 1. The remote is Bluetooth so you dont need to point at tv or the one connect. You can turn volume and pause shows from other rooms... it's cool. And it can control other devices connected via the HDMI connectivity. so even with a home AV system and Amazon stick.. that remote controls it all. 2. Serial number can be gotten out of the menu, so don't worry about either box or back of tv. .... Samsung can also remote access in to your TV from their offices. they're legit in customer support as you mentioned. 3. The One connect is able to fit inside 45mm conduit for those asking. You probably can get through your 2-3 inch, tape it carefully, don't have right angles and you can rotate it as you pull to get past bumps in flex tubing. Hope that helps. 4. The QLED is backlight by warm and cool LED lights, or dual LED, the OLED individual pixels are lit individually. So OLED do get much blacker. My man Paul explains on his channel EASYSHOT. He has a similarly smooth delivery as do you. 5. I didn't investigate the Apple TV yet, glad it has that. To be able to share both Android and apple is nice. See even pros learn. I imagine if it has Apple TV, you can access your photos and music directly through the Apple account and not have to share it from phone no? Not sure as I'm not an apple guy. Again good info and video. Hit me up on IG to collab @b_the_installer

Thankyou! This is great info, and I'll get it into the video description. I should've thought to test the remote in another room to see if it was RF Based...kicking myself for that one. The serial number thing is important if the board in the panel is dead (Which mine was). That was the kicker is I couldn't get the panel to show anything, and it happened during OOBE so I didn't have it connected to my network. So I had to unmount it..and that wasn't fun. For the apple stuff...I have an iphone but use onedrive for storage, so my apple account doesn't have the pics/videos I'm trying to share..though you're right if I had them on that account I could certainly do that in the apple tv 'app' that comes with it. Thanks for the informative comment, really appreciated, i'll find you on ig

@@geektoolkit awesome. Yeah a black out on the screen and uh oh. Haha. I hate getting to a job, spending the time to put mount up and cords run, power outlet, and we go to mount and cracked screen. @speedlever
@speedlever 4 года назад
Let me add one caveat. I received the 65 inch 2020 Frame yesterday. As I was prepping the tv for mounting, one of the four M4-L14 tiny screws that attach the mounting bracket to the rear of the tv broke an internal mount. Three of them snuggled down normally, but the lower right one broke just as it began to snug down. No store had this locally so I bought through Amazon (Prime too!) and got it in 2 days. The box and tv were undamaged. Unfortunately, the mount that broke is internal to the tv and needs either a tech visit or an exchange. Amazon tech support connected me to Samsung tech support who determined the tv would either need repair or replacement. So I await a return call from Amazon as to what they want to do to get me a good tv. The hazards of buying online.... but I really didn’t have much choice since they aren’t locally available. I can order one from BestBuy for a mid July delivery. Might have to end up going that route and just get a refund if Amazon can’t replace. Meanwhile, I’m discovering multiple options I didn’t initially consider as I watch various YT videos on the installation. And am considering running the fiber cable in wall in spite of it not being in wall rated.
@BTheInstaller
@BTheInstaller 4 года назад
@@speedlever that screw is a non-issue. The other 3 can and will hold, end of discussion. The cord can be put in wall, NBD, i do it all the time. If something is going to damage that wire, it would damage an in wall rated wire as well... drywall screw though romex will just kill power. Its probably less than 1 of a million chance anything would happen. That is your call. But no issue with that screw. Sometimes people tighten them too much and break the bolt hole. If it were the top hole in a wider 400mm Vesa mount pattern, you would have real issue. But this is non-issue
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 4 года назад
Keep in mind if you’re already going to plumb through the wall you can run it through conduit and be in code. I really feel like the big deal with the cable is that it is running a considerable amount of power and if a nail were to hit it in the future it could hurt/kill someone. If I were to do it I’d just run conduit if possible. If not I’d probably just mark behind the TV “power cable behind here” so that a future homeowner would know.

In your video here I see a thick, white-ish looking line at the top (inside) of the frame - in art mode only, but not when playing video. It doesn't go all the way across either (I see different line lengths on different artwork pics), but it's in many of your art examples (ie. 12:45, 16:07, 16:14, 16:23, 16:33, 16:40, 16:45). Is this just an artifact of your room lighting and camera angles? Or is this a glitch when using your own photos perhaps? I'd hate to buy one of these and have that line there...
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 3 года назад
That line is when you are previewing “store” photos that you haven’t bought. It’s a timer. It allows you to preview the store artwork on the frame as it’d appear (except for the timer line). It gets smaller and when it’s done it goes back to the store mode. When using your own photos you won’t see that (thankfully)

I bought the 2020, 65 inch about a month ago I bought it for the art mode and subscribe to the art gallery for me it was worth every penny. The TV mode is very, very good. My cable is mounted in the wall and not in conduit, I assume if it's installed by a contractor then they will follow code as the homeowner and installer I will do whatever I want. Bottom line if you're on the fence jump over and buy this art/tv. I wasn't disappointed and I'm thinking of buying the 43inch just for art mode and ambient mode.
@BlueWorld718
@BlueWorld718 4 года назад
Undefined name I’m about to buy the tv myself and run the cable in the wall but through a conduit. Majority of the reviews I’ve seen, people put the cable behind the wall with no conduit. However if the cable isn’t in wall rated more then likely it doesn’t matter what a contractor does. The kicker is, if a fire started due to the cable being in wall and you house burned down, you can kiss your check goodbye from your home or renter insurer. Very doubtful but that’s the risk I’m willing to take when I install mine.

6 GB limit in the 2021 model isn't many pictures or videos to display in Art mode for the price. Ill have to wait to see what the 2022 model has for memory. I solely wanted this for displaying my own image and video art! 2 TB memory would be much better and with batch upload, etc. processing vs. one file at a time menu funtionality they have (sb simple software coding fix). Better, please allow Art mode from external hard drive! Samsung is completely out of tune and out of touch with the market with this one; product is a brilliant fail!! With tiny 6 GB limit, seems like best suited to commercial retail applications of use such as restaurants as menu boards or for drygood retail displays. Hmmm

I get what you're saying, and technically yes, it'd be somewhat easy to have the device show thousands of photos and put tons of space in there. But they made a business and design decision that this is designed for artwork, and ideally it's curated pieces. I have tons of photos, as most people do nowadays. Do they look good on a frame? Absolutely not. It takes care to go through pick out certain ones, lay them out, etc. That being said, it showed me that there's a market for a large format frame that CAN do what you (and I) want, and so I designed my dynaframe project to be that.

QLED is just a marketing term for an LCD TV with a slightly fancy backlight. It’s just intended to sound like OLED, a superior display tech that Samsung doesn’t make (at least at TV sizes).
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 3 года назад
I love OLEDs contrast ratio, but for this use the screen burn in would make it unusable for this scenario. LGs OLED gallery TVs really demonstrate this when they change every five seconds. While OLED is superior on contrast, there are trade offs (color vibrancy is another area). I’m the end like most tech I think it’s all about what works for the scenario. I love my frame TVs where I want artwork, but I look forward to upgrading to an LG OLED or even a laser short throw projector at some point :)

I’m wanting to mount this over a fireplace. Can I run the single cable through the wall and have everything plug in behind the wall (cable, cat5, power, etc) or are there some things that I would need accessible directly behind the tv on the fireplace? Thanks!
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 2 года назад
That's actually the beauty of the design...there's a single wire (it's I think 2-3inches thick on the end) that you'd have to run, and then that goes to a 'box'. The box has all of the plugins on the back of it, including power. So if you can run a conduit big enough to get that wire through, then you can have everything plugged in off tot he side and have a very very clean setup

I bought the Frame 65. A super TV. I wouldn't give it away! BUT: In art mode you can load a maximum of 50 pictures on the TV, the memory space is limited by Samsung. And if you don't do that immediately after setup you'll get an error message that the memory is full. I e.g. could NOT load ANY PICTURE on it after 2 days. In the support forum since model 2019 it's reported. Samsung has not announced a fix so far. The only way for me: Reset (loss of all settings) and then quickly load the images onto it 🤣🤣🤣 Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

I’ll get you added on steam it’d be fun to play sometime! As far as Samsung...they cover it if the serial number shows it’s in the warranty period. We actually got ours on EBay. If you get it from Samsung it’s a bit easier for them to provide service and I think it’s a bit quicker but they took care of me within a week. Now, if I can just decide between The Frame and the Q90T. The Q90T specs blow The Frame out of the water, but I'm not sure if it can do as good of a job as appearing as artwork. In theory, it should because it has ambient mode as well, and is even thinner than the frame. I wish I could talk to somebody who owned both and used it for that purpose. I'm not sure if there are small differences in his that works between them. I think the subscription service is only available to The Frame, but I'm not as worried about that. I can always upload my own artwork and not pay for their service.

I like this tv but rtings..com had it at a 7.5 for mixed usage. It’s scores a 7.1 for movies and a 7.2 for HDR movies. I do love the art mode but for the money currently $1900 for the 65 inch you can buy a 75 inch Sony 950H which scores an 8.3 for mixed usage. 8.4 for movies and 8.2 for HDR content. Which is a noticeable difference when watching content or playing games. You could also buy a Samsung Q90T for $1700 which has a rating of 8.5 mixed usage. 8.4 for movies and 8.3 for hdr movies. Sure you won’t get access to the content that you would for the Frame. However you’re going to get a much better television viewing experience. I keep trying to justify buying a Frame but I keep coming back to the price vs what you get. It’s just not worth it. For $200 more you can buy the 2022 Q90A which scores a 8.6 on mixed usage, 8.5 on movies and 8.6 on HDR movies. You also get access to the ambient mode which people will say it’s not the same. But it’s similar. We buy TV’s for their viewing experience not for static pictures. The only real value that this tv has is for entertainment purposes.

Yes this is something I felt I covered...if you’re looking for the aesthetic then there’s nothing else on the market (at the time I made this but even now) that compares. To say that people buy a TV for the picture above aesthetic is an incorrect assertion...for me (and others) the aesthetic for that TV was more important. I have a media TV where performance was more important. So then the question is with the aesthetic, is the image and features on this TV solid, and I believe so (and other reviews have backed that...it’s not the best, but it’s solid). The “for the money” portion is true if you assume that someone is looking across all TVs, and I tried to point that out (and reiterated it in the follow up). But if you’re looking for a frame..this is where it’s at. Ambient mode is only one portion of the package, and doesn’t cover the actual look of the device on the wall, only the software.

@@geektoolkit you’re exactly right! Where aesthetic is more important this is the way to go. I totally agree. I think that I will buy a 43 strictly for the art as I do agree that it adds a great aesthetic. Thanks for the response, I appreciate it

Of course! I luckily bought for the aesthetic, and the rest of the stuff (game streaming, that it turned off, that it frames my personal photos, etc) all impressed me so I made this because finding info on this TV, esp. when I made this was ridiculously hard (most reviews just talked about whatever the marketing material said). For my TV that I want to really enjoy for image quality I’m considering an LG OLED, though these “near field laser” projectors are starting to get interesting

Does this not have bluetooth so you can run a bluetooth soundbar? If it does then when purchasing a sound bar, then just get one that's bluetooth enabled so there will be no need cables? I know my son's 55 inch cheapie Samsung TV has bluetooth, so we bought a bluetooth soundbar which came with a subwoofer. No wires at all needed for the sound bar setup, and provides great sound. With your setup, I'd mount the soundbar in the underside of that shelve, so it wouldn't be seen, and just have it firing downward. You might have to crank up the highs and mid sound setting slightly to compensate for it firing downward, but that should compensate nicely, and then just have a subwoofer tucked away somewhere in the room. The great thing about subwooders is the lower sound frequency coming from them isn't at all directional, so no matter where you put it in the room, it will still sound the same.
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 3 года назад
That’s a great idea! I’d actually considered it, and it does support it. The thing is the sound in the TV is really good, so if I were to add a soundbar (for my uses) I’d look to get Dolby Atmos. This doesn’t support passing Atmos over Bluetooth. In the end, for my setup I’m focusing on my theater area and leaving this as it is, it looks clean, works great and we enjoy photos of our daughter on it.

@@geektoolkit Yeah, if this isn't going to be you "home theater" tv, then best to probably leave it as is, and sink the good stuff into the man cave. That's what I would do, if I had a man cave. I have a family room, where I do all of my TV watching, but then our 12 year son has the entire loft as his really cool "kid cave." I'm actually envious, and starting to look forward to him going to off to college so I can annex his awesome space : ) Of course I'm joking, because I'll probably be the one crying in the driveway when he leaves some day. I'm really loving this Frame TV though. Our family room is right inside of our front door, so it would be nice to not have a huge black TV as the first thing you notice when coming into our home. @@pumpkinheadghoul LMAO! Oh what a great comment...I have a 2.5 year old daughter and have an idea of where you're coming from...her play room would be a great work shop :D Have you seen ambient mode on the newer samsung TVs? The 2020 frame and beyond have it (mine didn't...grr) but it's also another option for hiding the tv, though I've heard conflicting reports on how well it works. I think if mine wasn't over a fireplace it'd be much easier to work in some wires and do something clean..so if that's the case for you something to consider. The giant face prank sounds awesome...I was trying to think if you could pull that off dynamically (have one photo there maybe when she walks by, but then a minute later have it be a giant face) and realized that the app should let you do that since it lets you choose the artwork. That would be pretty awesome :D I'm really happy with it. Alot of my wishlist for it are things that would be pretty niche (I'd love for it to support videos and audio like my Dynaframe project does), I'd like it to have an option of powering directly off of the TV (I have a power port behind my TV I can't use because of the nature of the onecable). But those are nitpicks for my situation. It's been a good TV, and though I have an LG with a more theater like setup luckily, some days I just prefer to be in that room where there are more windows, and I never think 'oh I'm going to use the crap TV'. Things still sound and look great. Here's to us, parents, and hoping that we don't cry too hard when they leave us, and that they find success health and happiness!

I got the frame for my 2022 frame today and it has messed with night mode when in art mode. With the new wood frame, it would turn off art mode after 1 minute in the middle of the day. what does it mean that it is not in wall rated? why can't i run it inside a wall? like through a conduit?
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 3 года назад
At least in the US, there are building codes of what can be run in a wall and be “to code”. The cable, by itself, according to Samsung’s support, is not rated to be used in wall by itself. This means if you do it there may be a risk, though what that risk is or the consequences are hard to say. If you run a cable through in wall rated conduit it doesn’t matter if the cable is rated for it. So if you run it through conduit it would be “to code”. I’m not a building inspector or really qualified to speculate beyond that. I’m just relaying what I learned doing research. Some people care about being to code, and installers should install to code. That being said I’ve seen when remodeling my last house horrible things that worked fine for 40 years but were definitely not “to code”.

Can we run slide show from SmartThings apps for our own photos and how many photos we can upload to SmartThings ? Also those photos get stored in tv ? As tv has only 500mb space it’s not possible to have more than 10-20 photos uploaded to tv itself .
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 3 года назад
There is a slideshow app. The frame itself isn’t really a slide show in that it’s not meant to say go through 100 pictures to show friends. It’s an art display that rotates images...the fastest is every 10 minutes and the art has to be loaded up. So if you’re looking to do a slideshow, my follow up shows what that looks like. You can plug in a thumb drive and as big as it is it’ll show you photos. For the frame mode there are 500 mega of storage for the 2019,2020 and 6 gigs for 2021. My follow up has more info

Thanks for the support! On the TV there is a slideshow feature, it's not really an app, and its in a menu to the left of th emain menu when you select a thumbdrive. it lets you view images, add music, change transitions directly off a usb drive. You can have as many images as you can fit on the drive. It's not really an app, it's more like a built in function of the TV when viewing images on a thumbdrive directly. That's what i show in the other video..there's no 'app' per se. This however...has nothing to do with the frame functionality (the picture that shows when you put it in 'picture frame' mode. It's a bit confusing, but it's just how the tv works. To control those images, you have 500mb dedicated on the tv, and the images must be loaded there. You can load them from a usb drive..>OR...us the smart things app to do that. That's where smart things comes in. a 4k image is probably 5-10mb based on size, so you can store 50-100 images into the frame for this purpose. You can't view them like a slideshow once they're on the frame. you can set them as the art image, and then you can set a rotation...but the fastest you can set is 10 minutes.

We have an 9 year old 60 inch LG plasma we're looking to replace, which is what led me to your video. However, as for voice assist. We use a 4K fire TV stick for pretty much all of our smart features, along with an Echo Dot to interface with the Fire Stick. Our tv is a smart tv, but it's a bit outdated and LG no longer supports it with any firmware updates, and since the Fire TV supports the latest and greatest apps and voice assist features, so we use Alexa *although we named ours Echo, so that's our wake word). I noticed, I can walk in the room, say "Echo, turn on Fire the TV," and it will wake up the Fire TV stick, which then powers on my TV. Then I can say, "Echo, open Netflix," or "Open Plex" or Open RU-vid," etc..., and it will open whatever app I tell it. Then, once the app is open, for example in RU-vid, I can say "Echo, search for Fail videos" and it will pull up a list of relevant videos. Same goes for, say, Plex. "Echo, open Plex" and it will open my Plex TV app. "Echo, play Guardian's of the Galaxy 2" and it will instantly start playing that movie that I have stored on my home server." Of course you can also tell it to FF, RW, Pause, Play, etc... as well. I'm actually pretty impressed with the number of commands you can actually control with the Alexa app. It seems to also learn as you go, so things it was not very good at when we first started using it, it seems to have now learned and gotten better at.

Ooh I like that...then as Amazon updates the software on the stick the TV gets smarter, and is essentially a panel and sound system. That’s really cool. I keep getting rid of things hooked to the TVs as the newer ones are smarter, but like in this review I found the voice stuff is...less than ideal on these. Maybe I should dial back to Amazon devices. I use home assistant for automation so I’ll have to see how that all integrates together

Yes! That’s one of the things that makes it work so well vs just showing an image on a TV. You set a custom brightness and color temperature (to match room lighting) so that when it’s in art mode it dims and looks appropriate next to your other artwork. And it uses an ambient light sensor to adjust that automatically as lights brighten or dim in the room (though I find that feature could use a bit of tuning, when my lights are dimmed it doesn’t match my wall hung art of course).

@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 3 года назад
I’m sorry to hear you thought it had eink, that would be frustrating. I’ve bought a few things and had that experience. I did this video because the marketing was so horrible that I thought this would help others understand how it actually worked before buying. The price for the screen quality is high, and it is something I mentioned because if you’re not looking for the art feature there are better frames. But the one thing it has that other TVs can’t compete with is the ability to dim the backlight and change its color temp. Did you work with those options when you got it? Out of the box it won’t look like artwork unless those are adjusted to meet the room lighting/light color initially. I’m working to simulate what the frame does using a raspberry pi, CEC and some other tech. But I’m finding that because my LG doesn’t have backlight brightness control (which is different than TV broghtness) I can’t get close to what I can do on my frame. That being said, and what I try to point out in my follow up video (because this one was never meant to be a review but really a tech breakdown) is that this isn’t for most people unless they’re looking to pay for the aesthetic. That being said, I haven’t found a better solution for the “look” that uses something like eink, is cheaper, etc. I’m hoping others jump into this arena though. I hadn’t considered eink but that sounds interesting!

And the max size we could get was 65” to fit in there. We decided we’d go big in our media room and get a projector eventually, and for this room the frame ended up being a great alternative to have a screen when we needed it. I do find when I’m watching standing up while doing dishes from the adjoining kitchen that it’s a nice height though :)
@rolfvellek
@rolfvellek 4 года назад
Not a criticism of the video or mount, but I despise house designs that force TV up above fireplace. A well designed home would have flexibility of a wall that is well suited to a large panel television at a moderate height.
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 4 года назад
@@rolfvellek Oh I totally agree. The rest of the house made up for it luckily, and it had an epic bonus room that I got to make into a makerspace/gameroom/theater, so I picked my battles on that one :)

Great Choice Audio Video I hadn’t heard of them and just checked them out...amazingly cool! I think there’s a few problems though with this particular TV...this TV depends on a proprietary mount to make it flush with the wall....I believe that mount would make push it out and ruin the effect. Also this TV is not VESA compliant for mounting points...so you’d have to have an additional plate to adapt the holes. I think in the end unless you did a highly custom job I fear it wouldn’t work here

wow thats so great they made a wire so that instead of plugging the TV directly behind the TV in a recessed box, now there is a non-wall rated wire that you have to somehow have to hide. great idea
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 4 года назад
Definitely not ideal. The other thing I wish they didn't do was put huge ends on it...if it was HDMI sized then existing conduit would be fine, but it's about 3x that width on the wide end. I do wish they'd either done the work to make it in wall rated, provide an optional one that is in wall rated, or made the ends smaller. That being said, for those that don't have a box wired, it is realy convenient, and having the box off to the side makes hiding components MUCH easier I find. I'm hoping more manufacturers get into this style because I feel like it would then evolve into a perfect system.

Oh wow his videos are pretty amazing, I'd not watched them yet. Yeah if you got dumped onto my video after that, you ended up on a tech project channel where I got excited about the technology in the TV (and the concept) and was just sharing that on my channel...some people are taking it as a review (it wasn't meant to be). I hope that I was able to give some info about the TV that other channels typically don't have (which is why I made this, I struggled to get these answers when I was making my decision to get it....). That all being said I'll have to check out his channel a bit more, his cinematography and presentation is amazing!

One question is it is possible to fully disable the voice recognition? I hate the fact that smart TVs have alexa and google assistant built in these days, just because having an always on wiretap in my living room squicks me out, and using the remote works just fine for me. But thank you for this vid! I quite like the way the art effect looks outside of the perfect promo images, and "big black dark rectangle" was exactly the words my mum used when describing why she didn't like having the TV in a prominent location.

I absolutely detest tvs over the fireplace. We're building a house with lots of glass and won't really have a choice but to put the tv over the fireplace. Ugh. I did a search on how to hide a tv and found some companies that can make your tv look like a piece of artwork. It was all very cool but also very expensive. I asked our fireplace guy if he had seen any of the artwork tvs in action and he mentioned that Samsung makes one. And so, here I am watching your video. Thank you so much GeekToolkit, this is a great informative video!

Congrats on getting to build your own house that’s exciting!!! If you can wait they announced new ones at CES this week that are the 2021 models that’ll have more bezel options and are half as thick. Also if you can run 2” conduit behind it that’d take care of the one connect wire. I’m working on a follow up to this now actually with this info

Hi Joe, have now mounted my Frame on the wall, and having used the supplied 6 large screws to affix the mounting bracket, I was surprised at the 4 tiny screws for fixing the bracket to the tv. I thought I must have missed something and would come down in the morning to find my very expensive tv lying, face down on the floor!

Yeah I felt the same at first. When my TV didn’t work initially I tried to take it off the wall though and couldn’t get it in hooked and put a lot of pressure on the screws...and they never budged. I also, after reading had only used 4. I have a feeling you’re in good shape with six in there!

Hi, I’ve just bought the 65inch model of the tv and have so far only looked through the manual. The manual states that the 65inch model doesn't come with mounting adaptors. Before I inbox everything, this model definitely does come with the flush wall mount, right? According to the box it has one, I'm just unsure what the lack of mounting adapters has in the way of mounting it to a flush wall, if any. I'd appreciate any advise, please. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for letting me know! Mine is a 2020 and it looks as though they still use the centre wall mount, so I’m hoping one is included. Apparently the 2021 model has moved to a two bracket approach, so that’s a slightly different mounting process. I’ll write back once I unbox it and attempt to wall mount it tomorrow as to whether the flush wall mount is indeed included, or not. It may help other people who are wondering the same thing. 👍🏻

I bought this tv yesterday but have to wait for shipment. They didnt provide the option for the 2019 model. I really only bought this one particularly because the way houses are built in Las Vegas NV are a Sh%t show. The front room where the front door opens up is supposed to be the living room yet it is rectangle and in order to function i need to place a tv on the wall right next to the front door. It makes me cringe knowing every time someone walks into my house they will be greeted with a TV immediately. Otherwise id have to put a tv on the far end of the room and in order to watch it, you would need like a huge tv plus positioning yourself awkwardly on the couch. So i opted for this so hopefully it looks more like artwork vs a tv upon first glance and not seem that out of place vs a big tv on the wall. I dont like smart electronics and the only feature that i care about smart mode wise is the picture frame. I will be hooking my playstation up to it and dont plan on using any of the smart features or apps. In reality after making this purchase i have realized my playstation could do a similar function as i recall making a photo slide show on my playstation to play during the reception at my wedding. But i digress. I havent bought a tv since 2009 so we purchased this. Thanks for the video! I get the tv delivered on Thursday so well see how it goes.
@geektoolkit
@geektoolkit 4 года назад
Cool!! Yeah our house has an odd home design as well, it is as if they didn’t think a TV belonged in a living room. The PlayStation (and evening a chrome cast) can do slideshows and such, but the “one wire” design and flush mount, as well as being able to match bezels...is unique to this as far as making the TV hidden.
@heckyeshess
@heckyeshess 4 года назад
GeekToolkit yes the house layout in Vegas is definitely different from my house we own in Tn. In TN the fireplace is the center of the room and it has built in outlet and studs to hang the tv above the mantle. Here its like the whole layout was an after thought 😂. Tv was delivered today and Husband is hanging it tomorrow. Regarding the PLaystation i really didnt remember that function until i was watching your video and you mentioned having to pay for pictures. I agree with the flush mount and picture frame. I just want to get past the initial glance at the tv. I dont want it to be in your face that its a tv when I open the front door. Im excited to try it out this weekend. We havent had a tv in our living room that functions since we moved in last Dec! I really appreciate all the info because no one at Best Buy told us a thing about this tv. I had no idea the wire wasnt wall rated or the pay for pics. I wish i would have found your video prior to purchase but i think i still would have bought the tv. Good to gift ourselves some time. Have a happy 4th!
