most of these weren't trolls...just wwe being oblivious and trying things that didn't work. couple of actual troll moments you left out...john cena saying "you want to see a heel turn" and then literally turning his heel, cm punk cosplaying as jeff hardy, miz cosplaying as cena (especially in the opening segment of raw), miz stealing bryan's moveset

McMahon as Champ the 1st time around was actually funny & fitted ok for that short period of time. If it was today he would've been getting booed but, I remember he got a standing ovation.

my favorite trolling by wwe was when Chicago was going to "hijack" the show unless CM Punk showed up - the show opens, Punk's music plays, crowd goes berzerk, and out comes Paul Heyman. Not only was it trolling, but it was followed by a masterful promo by Heyman that redirected the situation to put attention on Brock vs. Undertaker. It was brilliant.

I genuinely get a kick out of how butt hurt people get about his very existence, and the WWE is probably just sitting back laughing at the whole thing haha

I remember the 18 seconds match vividly. I was at my Dad's house, and we were having a party with family to watch Wrestlemania. I was told to go into the kitchen to get food, but I didn't want to miss any of the match. My dad said, "it's just starting. You won't miss any of it." I went into the kitchen and was getting tortilla chips when I heard the bell ring and Sheamus' music playing.

That Mark Henry promo was fucking amazing. I had serious doubts, as wrestling fans we are naturally cynical to announcements like this, for instance I thought Edge was working us all until I read about his situation. Still, as Mark went on and on, shedding a couple tears, I found myself quietly becoming a bit upset that he had to "retire". His words seemed heartfelt and genuine, and his expressions were fantastic. The fact that Cena was told to hang around was the only clue we could have had that this was a work, but Henry still sold it like a BOSS. Perhaps he should have..."gone to Hollywood!" (I hope someone gets that reference)
