Wow Belema, you just taught me something about Barbados , I'm born and bread there now residing in the UK and I didn't know you can order food like UBER or just eat apps , the land of my birth is modernising

I was pleased to learn that there were more online options for managing services and other utilities. I think in the future we'll have much more services and faster delivery times to all parts of Barbados too. Can't wait.

I been in and out of there so many times and my fiancé lives there and I will moving there and still he doesn’t know half of what you know especially the stamp process you gave me more information than most RU-vidrs I have heard I am done looking you it! I remember my first time in the Blue Buses. I did not know I had to drop the coins in the slot beside the driver. He cracked a joke about it and everyone laughed, knowing I was a foreigner immediately. Enjoyed my time there in 2021. The KFC there is 100 times more superior than what I have ever tasted in Naija.

That's such a good memory. We once helped a tourist couple that had only USD. Even after nearly two years, I still sometimes forget to keep exact change for the trip and I often have to fiddle my bag to find change while the bus keeps moving. Good times!

So true about short term rentals - they can be more costly. We loved staying at a hotel full time during our Welcome Stamp year in Barbados 🇧🇧. Great tips Belema. ❤

Depends on the area you live in Barbados. The water is desalinated or from the natural water table, hard, due to the limestone. Both are safe to drink. However my preference is to filter the water first.

Most visas require bank statements that show an amount of earned in the last year or six months so the amount of time doesn’t really matter ❤️

The only reason to take a ZR is that you waiting too long for the regular bus.

Yea. In parts of some parishes, they don’t run as frequently as many would like but I always love the experience of riding in them when they aren’t congested.

Am planning to relocate to Barbados with my family because I already have a job offer there but my question is what visa will be advisable for my husband and children I really don’t know how to go about it and we all are still currently in Nigeria, please what do you advise

if you have a job offer, the company providing the Work Visa for you would need to work out details for your family, but your husband would not be allowed to work, only reside in country. you also need to make sure that the company is approved to offer you a work visa, which is costly to the company and is only valid for a short time. the company has to apply to Immigration for this work permit and has to prove that no Barbadian has the qualifications to do the work you are being hired to do.

It is not visa free for relocation. It is visa free for visits. If you want to move here you need a visa.

Same here. It sens they have moved to a more digital focused system. They no longer stamp passports. You scan with one of those machines and then get a picture plus a receipt. Then you take that to immigration to confirm and you’re good to go lol
