I have a controversial tip when using mono, it's to check if I can make a cascade before it matches the gems you initially wanted to match. The enemy gains less mana during the cascade, the gems have a damage multiplier and clears the board of useless gems. But it's still high-risk high reward
If I say.. it’s your turn, you have no specials ready, no tile matches available for the colors I have, the other dude will fire Immediately so as I’m done, I’ll definitely run 3, 4 or more tiles into that ready to that ready fire opponent hero.. it seems to me on everything but ninjas you can’t get anymore that full.
My mono red is my go-to it's an odd setup gefjon Wilbur PIB Elizabeth Marjana but very effective I use them for raiding 99% of the time but switching things up is fun and that's really what it's all about 🙂
Defense is so strong now, I see no other way to beat people except raiding mono. Even then the opening board pretty much decides the game. Can't get the tiles you need in ~3 moves? Game over, you are going to eat specials and die. Heroes like Sif, Elizabeth, Frigg, Odin, and others are just ridiculous. Too much power creep on D.
Cool video as always. Some of the things you mentioned... i haven't payed attention to.all the points seem to be relevant. One pretty powerful combination, that i use for years (with some variations) is: Hel, Rigard + 3 herose to opose their tank or if the formation is inverse or something, try to opose the tankier heroes. For example if they have berra/freya then 3 yellows+hel+rigard. Poseidon is pretty goog coz he is protecting from the mana loss. If they have red tank- bk for example, heroes like Krampus, Cobalt, Magni costume ... For years that is my most effective offensive combination. I can defeat much stronger teams with it.
Great video man, 4 v 5 is really handy to keep in mind, tipping the scales of damage potential early on makes it much more likely it will continue to tip in that direction. Thanks for the content and catch you on your next livestream!
My Alliance War attacks are good in the first three flags, then get worse. These are my star levels for all five colors. Red-5,4,4,3,2. Green-5,3,3,3,2. Purple-4,4,4,2,2. Blue-4,3,2,2,2. Yellow-3,3,3,3,2. I build Training Camps 11,11 then alternate between 2 and 1 in my third Training Camp. I am making better progress doing that compared to what I was doing before. The elemental only troops in particular I do not recommend using. The food cost difference is significant which means you will not always have the food to use the troops you are making.
