Another advantage to levelling your watch tower is that it does not go off line. It still produces food and iron while it is being upgraded. Farms and mines go off line when they are being upgraded. So there is a payback calculation that you need to do if you want something else done soon. Of course in the long run, it its always better to level them as much as you can.
Great advice - definitely wish I had this when I started. My only addition would be to make sure you complete the trials as well at Rare quests (potentially mentioned) as if nothing else you get 3* trainer heroes. I save my 3* trainer heroes for those last few levels of 4/5* when feeding seems to be glacial.
Thank you for great video. Was educational. Looking forward on future videos to cover these things more deeply. I do have some questions. Hope you will find time to answer. 1. How and where to find ascension materials for f2p? Some time ago those things would came out even from mystic vision and now it is a strugle to find pair of gloves. 2. Also for f2p how to level and ascend their heroes quicker? TC20 will give them some great 5* heroes once they get there. 3. Did you hear about Centure's summon method and did you use it? Silver coin to probe is RNG full. Similar to counting cards in card game. Was thinking of becoming c2p butt since SG is nerfing everything now is no way that I pay, and that is just me. Think that is better to be c2p than full p2p butt that is also just me. For f2p would recomend gem hoarding for 10x or even 30x on Atlantis. What events would you recomend for 10x or even 30x?
if you're f2p, gem hoarding gives you the best value. however it can be very dissapointing to finally have enough gems and get absolutely nothing. it really depends on your patience and mind set, i think. the centure method doesn't work for me. the best i got with it was tiburtus. i accepted that there is no way to fool the rng... in my opinion, guardians is the best event for pulling. the heroes with color specific defense down (panther, jackal and falcon) are really usefull, and gazelle is one of the best offensive heroes currently in the game. but all events have great and average heroes. finley, jabberwock, mother north, hansel, guinevere... the list is long of heroes worth having.
Hello there, great video as usual :) I just want to share that Watchtower is very important because it produces both resources, food and iron, and it produces them while it is upgrading, which is not the case with Farms and Mines. Cause of that it is mine priority to level it to lvl20 before mines and farms. (I started to play game 4 months ago and my SH is lvl20 most farms 4x17, 2x18, 19 & 20, irons 3x18&19 and WT will be lvl20 in two days).
Thank you so much for this video. I very, very rarely comment on videos, but this one was both amazingly helpful.. and brilliantly executed. Thank you again and keep up the great work.
And a long haul. Which could also be mentioned in the context of pulling for heroes. Keep in mind that this game is all about the long haul. You might not get anything good on any one pull, but over time you'll build up a bank of good heroes, one or two at a time.
In my alliance, we have one member who's spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on the game, and another member who's never spent one penny, but plays patiently. The guy who's never spent a penny has just as good of a roster as the one who spent thousand$. Don't overspend!
Learning there's "auto play" is helpful...took me 2 years to realize it happened. Just put in good teams, play Season 1, 5/8 over and over auto fight, and leveling is fast.
These are great tips. For leveling up and having your World Energy, Raid and Titan energy be refilled. If you've found you've miscalculated and finishing another level will level you up and waste your remaining WE. You can use Loot tickets to bypass this. Say you have 40 WE left and the next stage you complete will cause you to level up. Just go to a stage you've already completed and use as many Loot tickets as will be allowed. It will complete them all THEN level you up.
Thanks again Spock...I just shared the video with my alliance, which includes people that just started playing the game... I discuss efficiency with my team every day...such a great reference video to share with them.
hey man, great video. I've been playing for about 7 months now and have learnt most of the stuff you cover here. Although it's good to have it all in a central source like this. One other thing I might add that I've done to keep things interesting is to set reasonable goals for yourself (eg reach this level/province by the end of the week, max this hero by the end of the month, reach TC20 by this time). Requires a bit of research to help figure out what are actually realistic timeframes given in game restrictions, but has provided me with a sense of satisfaction to do.
Greetings and salutations Mr Spock, I've just watched many uploads from several contributers that offer tips on how to play E+P. After viewing a few of yours, I've come to the conclusion that your clips are easier to understand and apply to my own gameplay in comparison to most of the others. I'm not much of a subscriber at the best of times but am now compelled to subscribe to your channel. I really appreciate the effort you've put into it. The variety of subject matter and the clarity of application is phenomenal. I can only become a better, smarter and stronger player thanks to you. I'm looking forward to going through the archive for more treasures of informative observations. Madsa Adsa
Very nice tutorial especially for beginners. I have something to say about what you said. Defeating high power teams is a possible thing even with 4* just pick the good synergy as you can. Your jackals team is a good example, and I’m sure even without gazelle that could be possible for a lesser extent to take out some strong teams. When you come to lvl up your roster in later stages of the game with multiple heroes to lvl up, focus on combos not only on one independent hero so you get different combinations for war and more fun.
just picked up this game, I dont plan to spend at all, I think the char designs are overall very bland but the gameplay is solid, just wish this energy system would be less restricting, its BS. Also the difficulty spikes rather quickly, meant to frustrate newer players into spending, which I am not doing. I figured theres more to this game later down the road, hope it doesn't annoy me too much before I get there.
Are you able to get a month's supply of recruits from Atlantis every month? Just curious, how many WE flasks do you typically use during Atlantis? Also, if you are able to get a months supply of recruits, then farming 12-9 seems really random. If you are only farming for exp, then S1:23-11 is more efficient. I personally farm 8-7 for recruits. I farm ~6000-8000 recruits during Atlantis Rises, but it somehow is barely enough for a month so I need to do 8-7. 8-7 also gives me the crafting mats so I can replenish my battle items to compete in the monthly challenge events.
I’m never short on recruits so I farm AR for backpacks. Typically I finish with about 36 days in tc2 from 30ish flasks. It’s true that 23-11 has more xp but it takes longer to auto farm than 12-9
Can someone help me? I'm in an alliance that's hitting 14* daily but I don't know exactly how to use most of my heros correctly. I would be willing to change alliance if someone does not mind schooling me. I am very active using all my flags always. Thanks
Hi Henry - I suggest going to the Empires & Puzzles helps, hints, and recruitment group on Facebook. You can post and people will help you out or recommend an alliance!
Summoning tip: Consider whether you want the featured heroes, where applicable, and the hero of the month. Duplicates or weak heroes are pretty disappointing. If the odds aren't good save your gems for the next time or event or month. Targeting tip: Even while auto farming, you can pick a target for your heroes special skills, if you choose it in time.
Here to have fun and just enjoy this. Downloaded a few days ago and thanks for the tips. #15 by far is the most important. I spent hundreds on quest for cards and thousands on South Park Phone Destroyer. Had LINE going 24/7 with constant pressure from my team to keep at it. May join an alliance at some point but that won't be any point soon.
very nice video, a few small additions: I use tc 20 to bank food as well. i'm pretty far in the game, so i have times with nothing to level. than i run tc 11's and a tc 20. when i have something interesting, i can empty them and get a good start with my new hero. and if i run out of food, i move heroes from tc 20 to tc 11 that give me net food to improve your board movement, don't use autoplay too often. raid challenging teams to figure out the synergies your heroes have and assemble war teams the first thing in winning is your board. don't chase heroes, because none of them are a guaranty for succes. they get nerfed anyway if they're dominating game changers everything comes with patience. don't overspend is a very nice tip. also: give priority to your alliance's goals. hit titans, use war flags and be a good team member. it's a fun game with a lively community. take part in it.
When leveling your characters, utilize elemental, class and identical cards to aquire improvement on special attacks. You can start with aquiring 10 of your red bow girl who heals. Thus increasing the power of her group heal ability
Really enjoy your videos and you seem to have progressed fast, myself I've been playing for about 2 months. I spend a bit to progress faster but noticed it's mostly about time, how many hours would you say you spend every day?
Thanks man. Probably a couple hours every day, spread throughout the day. I think the keys are farming to accrue XP and level up and fill your training camps to generate feeders. And then consistently filling raid chests/monster chests/killing titans to get ascension materials for heroes. There’s a ton of work up front just to get started but it gets more fun later as there’s less you have to do as far as building and leveling
As far as emblems, I prefer to use mine on mostly 4* heroes. This is because you can emblem 3x as many heroes if you use 4*s. I'd rather have more heroes emblemed than just a couple. I generally give all 4*s and 5*s 1 emblem as soon as they get fully leveled, and then I emblem mainly my best and most used 4*s.
I agree with Angie Long. For my absolute favorite heroes that are 5 *, I use emblems on those heroes. That nearly guarantees success in harder missions. But I rather feed emblems to 4* heroes. Once leveled up, their states are almost stronger than 5 star heroes, and makes it easier to accomplish many of the weekly missions (especially the emblem gathering missions). And a strong 4* 20 emblem team can cause carnage during a war or Titan battle, especially when using a mono team!
Team synergy tips : - if u got Triton, pair him with any healer - if u got Mireweave, pair her with any sniper - if u got Freya, pair her with any minion summoner
These kind of games definitely are not for everyone. I mean, you can play several YEARS and still you have enormous amounts of unfinished things and goals you want to achieve. It can be either curse or blessing. To me, it is the latter. I have played like 5 months now and still have only two 5* heroes and they still need those finals ascension items and further levelling. I have never really spend any money on gacha games before, but with this game I thought I will stick on monthly 5€ VIP pass. Second builder literally halves your progress time. (And it still will take years to finish everything.) It also gives some extra gems and emblems which is not much but hey, every bit counts. (And in the near future, I also plan to purchase the 11€ Valor Pass whenever I can get to the end of the event. (After like 5 months of gameplay, I still couldn't do it completely to the end yet.) It is the best offer in the game. Value of the rewards (if you manage to get to the end) are WAY more than just 11€. I mean it's like there easily could be one zero more to the price, considering that you will get two final 5* ascension material. Usually they want like 32€ per ONE ascension material in the flash offers that come and goes.) *TL;DR. If you spend your money, invest them to the passes. VIP and Valor Pass has the most value. Don't spend on summons.* Anyway, I really don't get bored or angry to the game even if I'm not getting all the 5 stars and/or heroes that I want. I REALLY enjoy to do ANY task that feels like progress. I mean anything. That progress could be like feeding just 1 fodder hero to the 5 star or training just one hero more. Or getting the level done and getting all the EXP and items. It can be anything. It still is a progress and as long there is the smallest feeling of making the progress, I want to continue. I don't actually need money to get that feeling. And I don't think I never will (speaking mostly about spending money on summons) because there always is something to do without money. And this is why I can see playing this game for years to come. Slowly finishing my goals and then setting new ones.
If Id give one tip. Its for noobs to not underuse Battle items. The Trials / Emblem quest Bosses can always be beat. If you reach them and use 5 axes, 5 bombs and... Like 4 dragon attacks. They are dead. So even if you got a weak Team you only need to reach The Bosses to beat them. WELL worth a few items to get 16 emblems!
Wow thanks i had to play a long time to figure this out on my own and your just giving it all away automatically. Where were you on day one lol. Wish someone would take a look at my teams and help me put them in the right spots.
Imo playing around with your lineup is one of the most enjoyable part of the game. That being said, you should try different synergies while farming -- This is the most efficient way to learn and to set up your heroes without any negative effect on your game other than WE. Think about their special skills, adding +att, +def, -att and -def into the fight and so on, stacking your heroes from left to right as if they woul go off at the same time.
Great tips. Maybe now I can starve my swear jar as this games ' bias ' ( futile: I know) has me sometimes putting my phone's structural integrity at great risk from projectile misuse......I bet I'm not in my own pre watching this video....great coaching my friend ( liked and subbed)😡😭😕🙂😁😂
One small addition to your tip 4: If you realise you still have 30 world energy but will reach your next level in 100 experience points, use loot tickets. E.g.: You can use 5 loot tickets for S1 20-4 which cost 6 world energy. Your 30 world energy will be used up, and only then you will level up and receive your new world energy.
This is a good reminder. Though even in this situation I think loot tickets are much more valuable in Atlantis and I’d rather waste a little world energy. I will play expensive levels though to try to use as much WE as possible without using loot tickets 👍🏻
great videos mr spock! im curious at what point do you switch over to 2* feeders only for your higher leveled heroes. is it ~10,000 food/per feeder or a specific tier level? thanks again
Thanks Bob! Typically I do it once XP per level gets into the 800-1000 range. That’s probably not the most efficient way, but at that point where you need 4-5+ 1* just for 1 level up it feels like a waste. And then once you get to the next ascension and XP/level costs drop again I may switch back to 1* feeders for a bit if that hero is a big priority for me
Hi in myth wars my iron storage is 47000...when I try to upgrade my castle to level 5 it says need 47500 to upgrade it so go upgrade the iron storage but when I do that ur castle level must be level 5
I Belong to Blood B's and I would not have stayed with this game if it hadn't been for this alliance. We're casual but our core members are getting very powerful. Soon we are going to a force to be reckoned with. Thanks for this video. I have recommended it to all of our members.
glad I subscribed to you my first watched video and I already picked up a couple of useful tips need to rematch a couple of times along with your other videos
I totally dig the thumbnail picture!! That is my favorite hero thumbnail. (I think it is still my thumbnail! Orc life baby!!!) And I agree, I would love to share this video in my group too!! We have some strong players coming up, and some advice like this would really help a ton!
Thanks a lot for the amazing (and far from obvious) clue of putting your leveling heroes in team 1 and 2 - I'll do this right away! And thanks for explaining the game to me (who plays it for more than a year (+ another five months about 4 years ago). I understood a lot of mechanics I hadn't thought of at all (as synergy).
Question: Do Ninja troops work like critical troops do, or do Ninja troops work like Mana troops.... Or do Ninja troops work differently than either and if so then how? Thanks.
@@MrSpock Well, mana troops add together all the attack of all your heros of the same color while critical randomly picks an attack from one of your heros of the same color. So, do Ninja troops pull together all the attack of the same color hero or randomly choose one hero of that color and use that attack?
Hi Mr Spock! Great video. Been playing about 10 months myself and looks like your teams are much more advanced than mine. I pay for VIP and POV but that’s pretty much it. Right now I’m trying to focus on team synergy but it seems the most difficult part to me. I’m curious - I’m stronghold level 20 and level 32 in the game. My roster capacity is 65 and I’m keeping one of every 3* hero, keeping all 4*, and all 5* heroes which is 61 heroes and leaves only 4 slots for feeders... how do you recommend I manage that? Should I pay money to expand my hero roster? I’ve literally been trying to max level Ursena and Tyr for 2-3 months but it’s taking forever and I’m wondering if there is a better/more efficient way. Both are at level 64 of ascension level 4. Thank you! I will also be donating to your channel :)
best gaming video i watched. like everyone wants to be a football player. that is what woke teachers tell kids who dream nothing wrong with just playing a game game. Well done Spock (Logical).
Really enjoyed this. Fairly new to game. Had my last account hacked and has taken me 6 months to get back to similar level, with different heroes..really learned about synergy and defence so was helpful. And tips 14 and 15...thanks for reminding me
it was pointed out to me, a while back, that your wanted mission payouts are based on your storage capacities. I think that they should be maxed as soon as possible.
99.99% of disappointment is so true XD. it is very hard to get 5 star hero yet harder to unlock hero you wanted. the last tip is very helpful as it can be stressful sometimes but it is just a game. well done with this video.
I am fairly new to the game. Thanks for the helpful hints. Looking to join an alliance now, how do I know I am choosing the right one or how do I find one? Also is there a place to find which heroes are the best heroes. I just got Uraeus as a reward, since he's 5 star I assume he is good.
This is a really great and comprehensive video! I'm just a beginner (only 3 days old) and your tips were easy to understand and helped me beat a stage I was struggling with.
