As a "hard on yourself" player, I can really relate with this. At a point, I was really upset with my self that my top play was like 60pp and I was around 600k rank. And it really got me more upset when I saw people around my rank with much better plays and I had been playing almost everyday for like 4 - 5 months.

When I was 14 I mowed yards like crazy. A year and a half later I got a sick gamer setup. Anything is possible kids if you put in the effort.

You guys should play Sweet Dreams (11t dnb mix) it's a good song and the storyboard is amazing. It also has a nice quote by 11t at the end :)

Omgomg the thing u said about take a break was so true! I was playing super consistently like every day for hours. And even tho my consistency was improving, i wasn't getting as many fc's as i felt i should've so i got frustrated and eventually took a break. I then came back thinking i woulda gotten worst but instead it seems like i just didn't improve. I mean my area didn't change so. With this neutral mindset, i sightread a 99.46% hdhr fc on kira kira days which ended up being my #2 top play and it was just a bonkers moment. Honestly this game is so annoying when u have expectations.

Every time EOS comes on in my playlist I pay respects to 11t. If storyboards didn't drop my fps below my absurd fps cap (it's like 144x4+2 or something, it reduces screen tearing in Taiko while having minimal input lag) I'd definitely play with more of them on.
