what exact jobs in IT are the most in demand in Germany now? Also would it be possible for a 41 year old from America to come work in Germany or am I too old?

Adam Grossman Hi Adam, don’t worry about your age. 41 is just right, experienced enough and definitely not too old. Furthermore It is illegal to judge by age in Germany. It is by far more important what kind of experience and expertise you have. Germany is very heterogeneous and every city has it’a own specialization (check our video “Germany vs Silicon Valley”). Currently everything around Artificial Intelligence, Data since and cyber security is very demanded. However good developers and architects are always welcome. Thus as the next step would be updating your resume and ADJUSTING to German standard. If you need further support let us know.

I heard Germany is very judgemental in this way and it will be much harder for me to find work over there. Just wanted your thoughts on this. THANK YOU!

Adam Grossman A medical check is rather typical for special jobs (like a pilot). It would be discriminating to judge someone by physical condition (if it is not required in your job function). The labor law is getting more and strict about it. Hope it helps you further.
