you can check out my new series "Building Janky Commander Decks" where i tackle some of these ideas: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7EciSsOcNNM.html
@@DudiTheGreat thats honestly the best part. It doesnt matter, you could put like half the boros legends as commanders and nothing would change. I settled on Iroas cause you are attacking alot, but it really personal preference.
In my play group there was someone who managed to achieve something akin to this; Ramos as the commander and Door as a win con. A card that made a huge contribution to the deck was Archelos, Lagoon Mystic to make sure Door could enter untapped for fast activation. The deck ended up being so good that it was eventually taken apart since we focus more on casual play.
A fun deck idea that I've build is Zedruu The War Profiteer. It's a deck full of big scary things like The Locust God, Blightsteel Collosus, Narset Enlightened Master, etc. And you let the other players bid for them. The way I do it is they have to promise a number of upkeeps I get before they are allowed to target or attack me. It's really fun see people bid for cards they don't need but don't want the other players having. I had one guy bid 2 million upkeeps just so the Voltron deck didn't get a sword of fire and ice. And the way you win is you have all these big scary cards that are actually strong, you hit land drops almost every turn since Zedruu draws so many cards, plus you end up with a number of turn where you are free to set up a crazy board.
I have a Golos War Profiteer deck with a bunch of Vow enchantments and illicit auction. I absolutely love this deck, it’s so much fun making deals with the other players!
Grozoth and Quest for Ula's Temple. pair really well together. Ula let's you cheat grozoth into play, grozoth fills your hand with a bunch of krakens and stuff, then you can put one into play at the end of EACH turn, not only yours, with Ula.
except there are only about 4 other leviathans with mana value 9 printed. And aside from inkwell leviathan they're not that good. I had the same idea and thought, cool flavor. but unfortunally not enough cards for it to make that work
All-star of the Grozoth/Pyromancy deck is Zirda. Using 1 mana to ping for 9, or 54 with Fiery Emancipation and Dictate of the Twin Gods on the field feels amazing.
I spent most of the evening after watching this last night making a deck around Booty Trap with Brudiclad as commander. The goal is to use clone & animate effects to make as many Booby Traps as possible and while utilizing bounce to top of library and look at top of library effects to maximize the BOOM. I think it needs more draw and some tweaking but I feel like it's off to a good start.
update: was brewing this idea with a friend and apparently since the Brudiclad 'tokens become a copy of target artifact effect' doesn't involve an ETB you don't get to name a card, making those copies uesless. I've restarted my brew going with Orvar as a commander and I think I've worked out a deck that can do infinit Booby Traps and exile opponents libraries based on which combo I draw into first.
Your ideas really made me think! If you want to build this ideas, maybe this will help: 1- Grozoth works well with Braids commander. He will fill your hand and braids put the permanents on the battlefield. Kind of a show and tell effect; 2- Linessa: love the idea of this commander. Maybe "mimic vat" or Sakashima her, put on your hand and discard it. Maybe "mirror gallery" on the table, clone and one discard for multiple effects. This can be so easier if mtg had a spy kit effect for card in your hand...
Challenge for you: if you make a Noggle Tribal deck, I'll buy the entire deck list right now. Been a dream of someone very close to me for a while now, but I just don't think there are enough or a shared theme to build around there 😔 Also, love the video. Been watching you climbing for a while now. Keep up the great work in these trying and confusing times. We appreciate you more than a subscriber count can show. 👍
For Grozoth: Green myojin of life's web is one of the best cards to have on the battlefield if you cast Grozoth; just remove the counter and play all your big 9 drops :D
I built a Grozoth deck because I show that Myojun exists. Just have Sacellum Godspeaker on the field when you get Grozoth out, guaranteed mana to cast Myojin then you flood the board with every single 9 cost creature in your deck.
Built the Grozoth deck, played Grozoth getting 23 nine drops, pyromancy got exiled with Myojin on the battlefield. Removed the counter from Myojin and it felt real good.
It was me who had the no.6 inspiration deck I've since taken my mono green control deck apart and taken the pieces to make a gruul stax/control deck, mainly inspired by a lot of the mono red stax enchantments in your ten cards videos (smoke, mudslide etc)! It's not quite in it's most tuned form yet but it's been really interesting to build.
The exile theme is also already a part of my "Oona queen of fea " the search and exile is nice in combination with "oblivion sower" exile their lands then get all of them on your board, super nice 👌
I took it upon myself to try and build that Linessa deck around Grandeur, and I found that it was possible to activate many times per turn but it takes 11 mana per loop, so you gotta have a lot of that lol! The combo I found was to play Linessa, clone her, sac the original, play both The Underworld Cookbook and a Cogwork Assembler, make a token of the cookbook, and use that to get Linessa back in your hand! Now you can do that again, assuming you have another 11 mana to spend. This combo also works with infinite mana, to bounce everything but that isnt as fun. If you just wanna do it once on every turn, Prototype Portal with an Underworld cookbook on it, an unwinding clock and some mana rocks amounts to a fresh set of bounces every untap step I really hope you end up looking into this deck as well, it was tons of fun to find the ways to actually get Grandeur off :P PS. Codex shredder also works instead of cookbook, but its 1 mana more per loop.
Similar thought, IsoRev works for infinite mana and my thought was using the two clones that aren't legenary (Spark Double and Sakashima) so you don't have to sac so you only have to have infinite self bounce. Honestly think the deck can be strongish. Running things like entropic portal of vedlkan mastermind. to self bounce and using spark double and sakashima as clones of Linessa. With stuff like Vedlkan mastermind you can even run some stasis locks as well. And the nice thing is IsoRev also just gives you infinite EtB and bounce all opponent's creatures even if you don't have any other part of the combo going with just Linessa. Might even be able run some tap untap synergy in the deck so Dramatic Rev isn't a dead card without the combo and with blue shuffle / spell recursion you can still get it back to combo later into the game. I think you can make this a sneaky good deck that on the face doesn't look scary at all and would be neat for people to see. Maybe running some kind of command beacon, crucible of worlds, entropic portal loops for like a 5 mana and your land drop as a way of looping once per turn. Although that seems sketchy. Can run things like Spellseeker, Snapcaster, or even Gilded Drake if you wanted to get nasty with your commander.
I have a barren glory deck, I've win maybe a total of 3 times but dear god was it glorious when I do. The main way is Oblivion ring exiling barrenglory, then apocalypse the board, which means when apocalypse resolves, barren glory would comback to the board being the only card on board.
Shutting off Teferis Protection by removing the untapped phase is also lore friendly. Teferi phased out the city of Zalfir, shown in the art. But was unable to phase it back in.
In casual I once had a kobold deck (back before the D&D sets actually added new kobolds). It wasn’t actually able to win games, but the look on the other players face when I played four zero mana creatures on turn one was priceless.
I think the color for grandeur theme is the green. His effects allows him to take him from the graveyard into your hand with Paleoloth. And if you want to copy it, just use an artifact like mirage mirror to copy Baru. Then discard Baru, create a wurm. Paleoloth allows us to recover Baru from our graveyard in our hand and discard him again and again. The solution for grandeur theme deck is Mirage mirror and a way to take back your Grandeur from your Graveyard to your hand. It's pretty easy for Korlash Oriss, Lynessa and Tarox are the challenging ones for this
Literally just put together a Barren Glory deck 2 weeks ago. It's an Atogatog deck, using effects like Enchanted Evening and Mycosynth Lattice to make all Permanents 1 type to make them easier to sacrifice. Greater Gargodon is the MVP in that deck for anyone wanting to try out the strategy, have not won with it yet though.
The phasing deck really has me intrigued! Grozoth needs black or possibly green to to work I think for the ability to tutor himself. And likely recursion will be a good pairing Extract is a great library exile card at just 1 blue mana. With something like infinite Reiterate or maybe a high storm count with thousand year storm it can be a win con. I think Kess is a fantastic commander for that deck. I have a deck where all non-land cards are artifacts. Another without creatures. Mulling over an enchantment only deck too.
Spy Kit + Magnetic Theft + Eradicate/Legion's End. Exiles all creatures from an opponent's hand, gy, and library. You can do it with non-permanent creature steal as well (claim the firstborn, etc) but then it takes 2 turns.
This can be real fun in a Blim, comedic genius deck. It's on theme already. But legions end doesnt work like eradicate because it interacts just with the hand and gy. You can do the "same" if you use men lands and Sowing Salt, tho.
I love the tribal ideas. I want to build non-blue faeries, but my deckbuilding skills maybe aren't up to it. I think it would have to be black-green with a bunch of tribal artifacts. The crab tribal idea is inspired!
An interesting adaptation to number 7 would be searching players libraries to exile lands specifically, then playing cards like Consuming Aberration or Balustrade Spy to mill their whole deck in one shot
Barren Glory seems like a combo card to me. Like, resolve Barren Glory, Oblivion Ring it, then cast Kaervek’s Spite on the end step before your turn begins.
This is one of my favorite topics for EDH, jank decks usually leads me to the greatest joy I get from deck building. I'm not here to win, I'm here to be on theme. First and foremost, I'm a vorthos player. So I have a Phyrexian deck with esper Ertai at the helm, all cards relate to Phyrexia, primarily original phyrexia. I have a Jund spell slinger deck with Xira leading it, which was made as a challenge and has become one of my favorite decks. I have a lovecraftian themed deck lead by Wrexial (though Gyruda would work too) where all cards relate to Lovecraft lore in some way. I also had an off color tribe deck with boros slivers, with new Gerrard at the helm, built around looping Spiteful Sliver.
I have a really cool Baren Glory mono white deck. Basically I wanted to go hard way and not include these obliterate red stuff, so my chose was... Kataki. My only wincon is through barren glory, in deck there are tons of artefacts that want to die from Kataki, I mill myself pretty hard too. To win with Bren Glory we need to find either combo with Mycosynth Lattice or some artefact that empty our hand plus claws of gix or renounce and voila. The looks of my friends were priceless ;)
I have a few decks that meet your challenge already! A Moritte of the Frost Sliver deck, which was pretty easy too put together. More complicated though was my Endrek Sahr Bitter Ordeal deck. It usually takes about 7-8 turns turns to pop off, but once it does, it can make so many thrulls, that are continually sacrificed for mana and card draw, that i have exiled two peoples libraries at once with Bitter Ordeal. My last is a Zenith Flare cycling deck. Whole point of the deck is too cast zenith flare multiple times to take a player out in one turn. Including the right cards to continually get Zenith Flare from my graveyard, copy it, make sure it gets cast successfully and ensuring my graveyard is protected at all times, is the tricky bit. It is helmed by Gavi.
I'm happy that my ideia of grandeur made into the video. I have a korlash deck, pretty cool hahaha i use self mill + clone effects (mirage mirror) and others, for the win conditions i use the blackblade reforge for a big hit, or some landfall swamps effects sinergies. And yes, i'have managed to win a game, one time at least :D
I play Barren Glory in my Celestial Kirin deck. It's spirit tribal with a bit of a stax theme. The idea is to use Kirin's ability to keep wiping different mana values off the board until you find Ugin's Conjurant which, with Kirin in play, destroys all zero mana value permanents when cast. Float all your mana before doing this, and as long as you have enough mana to cast an effect like Hour of Revelation and pop a Barren Glory off after, you've got the Barren Glory win on your upkeep! Fleeting Spirit is also needed sometimes to discard any extra cards from your hand before you go for it. It's a tough line to pull off but it feels great to accomplish such a silly win!
Combo with Barren Glory: have Academy Rector in play. Before beginning your turn, cast Kaervek's Spite. Rector fetches Barren Glory, you win on your upkeep.
@@des-trina Yeah, but that's worse. It's a 3-cards combo, it costs much more mana and people could still counter Apocalypse (Kaervek's Spite does everything as an additional cost).
I just gave my mate the challenge of a mono Red life gain deck using Toralf and lifelink. He's allowed to play aetherflux reservoir, BUT he can only use it on creatures.
In the old days I had a deck that phased everything out then only allowed itself to phase in. I used sands of time, vision charm , reality ripple, equipoise, Teferi's realm. It even negated the odd tapping effect sands of time imposed with Chimeric idol.... But only for its self. The opponent still suffered. Only creature was Merieke Ri Berit. And she a slick killer with sands of time.
For the off-color theme, i have a mono-red Superfriends deck helmed by Jaya Ballard, and theres a LOT of red "control" cards that require discarding, so to generate that card advantage i use Phoenixes that return to my hand from the GY.
I had a lot of fun building a dimir Vecna Copies deck. commander was silas renn and sakashima partners. whole deck was basically artifact tutors and copy spells. objective: assemble vecna, break the legends rule, copy, profit.
I think a way to do two of these challenges at one time is to do the Spirit of the Night "Assemble" Deck with a "Really Weird Tribe" Deck: Nightstalker Tribal. There are 12 nightstalkers in all and 3 of them sac for Spirit. I'm going to give it a try... Have to think of a couple things to make it viable first: 1) What payoff will there be? A Hasty Trampling 6/6 is nice, but not exactly a powerhouse these days and hardly a good plan to win a game. 2) What commander to use that helps in some way get this all done. Other thoughts I have right off the bat are: 1) maybe this is a good idea for a super budget deck. Every card in the tribe added up costs less than 12 bucks. 2) maybe go for SUPER challenging and make this an OLD SCHOOL deck as well. The newest card in the tribe is Fen Stalker from Prophecy (2000). All in all VERY interesting deck idea.
I make weird decks all the time. I love doing things people say cant and dont work. Back in 2013 I built Kiki-Jiki because everyone was saying monored and monowhite was impossible. I built Edgar Markov as a control deck. Jank is just fun
My current challenge deck is Arahbo 'cat tribal' deck that is filled with changelings. There really weren't many quality white/greens/colorless ones until Khaldheim helped out. Then I toss in other non-cat/tribal/anthem effects to buff the team. Plus, a turn 1 Universal Automaton bashing in on turn 2 for 4 damage is hilarious.
A silly thing that my blim deck “can do” (but which isn’t its main thing) is assembling what I call “blimTron”. What I do, is play blim. Have him hit someone, and make him donate himself to them, before goading it with a goad aura (assault suit also works, but I don’t have that card yet). What happens is blim is forced to attack, and his damage trigger of donating a permanent is not optional. A player’s best option is to then donate blim. So he just bounces around among your opponents.
My first commander deck was Riku and I had Biovisionary as a wincon. Copying Biovisionary with Riku's second ability and then also copy my clones. It made it janky sometimes but sometimes I pulled it off and it felt very satisfying.
I remember your painter servant deck that you made once. You could declare black and use an enchantment called Life force where you pay 2 green to counter a black spell
For the [Barren Glory] wincon strategy, you could do it "easily" with a [Dream Devourer] foretelling [Barren Glory] then playing [Kaervek's Spite] (As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice all permanents you control and discard your hand. Target player loses 5 life) Of course then you'd need to wait for your upkeep or you find a way to play the [Barren Glory] at instant speed before your turn as [Kaervek's Spite] is instant speed.
Story time: Joined a casual game on untap, playing Kenrith (group hug), we discussed no infinite combos, etc. We had a certain type of player at our table, let's call him P. So we started the game normally, one of the other players got land flooded and proceeded to reveal more lands of the top of the library (because he kept drawing lands and wanted to check) P got annoyed and accused him of cheating because "he's not supposed to do that" I said "Dude chill, It's a casual game. What is the point of him watching us play while being flooded" the guy returned lands on top of his deck and we continued. I draw Worldfire and said "Ohhh I drew something good but I won't play it" P was making a board presence and was quite sure of himself, talking condescendingly towards the players. Saying "Can anyone win next turn? Because I can" sounding all proud and invincible. Now let me set the picture with Dictate of Karametra on board (double mana) and Leyline of Anticipation (my spells have flash). Not to mention treasure tokens from Smothering Tithe. On my turn I cast Silence so I can go uninteruppted, P phases his commander out as a response. I play Near-Death Experience and while that was on stack I add Propaganda and on top of that Worldfire. Took a second for everyone to read the cards, only for P to ask "you think Worldfire is a casual card?" I said "Yes, it's a part of my wincon combo", he started fuming, calling us names and saying that we cheated.. Mind you I wouldn't play that combo if he was a decent human being, however he forced my hand. So my question is, "Is Worldfire toxic if I win on upkeep?" TLDR: Guy gets mad for losing and blame others for cheating, while being overly competitive in a casual match
I put Tree of Perdition + Triskaidekaphobia in my Mimoplasm EDH deck. It's a surprising stalemate ender. And although I'm not purposely build around that combo I'm often searching it out with tutors to win against life gain decks or prison decks.
Booby trap with B/U with sealed fate and other spells that you look at the top cards of opponents library and put back in any order. I made it 20 plus years ago but not commander. Sill should be doable now.
Oketra Black Zombies. You can also use Living Weapons. And Phyexian Processor to make more black creatures. For Puzzle Piece decks Captain Sissay is where its at. The Weatherlight helps you find stuff and she can go herself to find stuff. The quests I like to give her are the sword, shield and helm of Kaldra, Bruna and Gisela, the tron lands, there's 5 white humans that find 5 white planeswalkers, and of course her other crew members. The Teferi's Protection thing is pretty funny. In the lore he actually phased the whole island out to save it from catastrophe, though it was also abit of an experiment, and he could'nt figure out how to bring it back. That would be a flavour win. I have a near-death experience deck actually, its a modern deck but tons of fun. And also a deck-destruction modern deck....Demo we're really similar wow! My current challenge is a lifegain Kearvak the Merciless deck. not easy in Raktos but very excited :) Here's a fun challenge: build a deck where you don't use mana. and yes, its possible
My "janky" deck thats been a blast to play is my Kogla king kong theme deck. I also had a super janky maralen of the mornsong deck revolving around neverending torment. Was 93 swamps and the other 7 cards were maralen, neverending torment, dark ritual, ad nauseum, reliquary tower, boseiju and culling the weak
I was trying to figure out how to effectively abuse booby trap a couple days ago, I also thought copying it, but then I thought, muldrotha for easy recursion, and turn the artifact into a creature and copy it that way.
Linessa Grandeur Deck - IsoRev Spark Double / Sakashima. Some way to self bounce your Linessa Entropic Portal etc or. Use one of the two clones of Linessa if they're not summoning sick and you have the IsoRev Infinite mana going. Bounces everything your opponents owns. Nice part is IsoRev is also just good with Linessa as it removes all creatures from the table and gives you infinite EtBs. While 'janky' honestly could be very strong and way less scary than say a Venser in the command zone.
My brother recently built a Linessa deck that focused on Grandeur and its pretty cool. Uses Ashes of the Fallen and Myr Reservoir to get her back every turn or potentially infinitely
I always do off-color tribes or off themes. Red Blue Urza - Izzet Urza? (Commander is Jhoira) Abzan Vampires - Nethroi, Apex of Death Zombie/Crab Tribal - Ghost of Ramirez Pietro and Tormad the Desecrator Political Slivers - Commander is Kenrith with many humans and politics cards in the deck. Surprise the group by finishing them all at once when you are ready to drop your sliver bomb surprise.
I've got a Snakes and Thopters deck I really love. The whole idea is just making thopter and snake tokens and having them pilot my Kaladesh airships. It's pretty silly, and a lot of fun. Generally people are pretty entertained when I pull it out, and I get a lot of good complements about the creativity behind it. I think building goofy and strange decks is healthy for the format for sure.
I do have a Grandeur combo deck with Korlash You gotta have Amulet of Vigor on the field along with Mirage Mirror, Korlash, Staff of the Death Magus and Veinwitch Coven, plus a way to get a Swamp in play. Have Mirage Mirror become a copy of Korlash, legend rule will happen, making you sacrifice one of them, sacrifice the original one. Then play a Swamp, which will trigger Staff of the Death Magus, gaining you 1 life, thus triggering Veinwitch Coven, you can then pay 1 mana from the swamps you got to get Korlash back to your hand and repeat the process. Another way of doing this is to do the Mirage Mirror/Korlash interaction, then return Korlash to your hand by using Phyrexian Reclamation, having Amulet of Vigor out, gives you the exact ammount of mana to repeat the process. You can also add Dread Presence to this interaction, which will make you ping people to death and regain the life you pay to activate Phyrexian Reclamation. I know, too many cards, but you're in black, go tutor them up!
For Barren Glory, the only thing that comes to mind is pulling off some combo with Bearer of the Heavens, a 10/10 Red Giant with CMC 7 s and a Red whose ability is when he dies, destroy all permanents at the beginning of the next end step. I have no exact idea which other cards to use, but the combo would be making Barren Glory indestructible and then sacrificing or destroying Bearer of the Heavens it’s one of your own cards, preferably the last one in your hand, then watch as the entire board gets wiped except for Barren Glory. This will give you the best chance of winning because you destroyed everything on all of your opponents fields, including their lands, giving them next to no responses because they don’t have any mana left to spend to get rid of Barren Glory
I have two decks I use that work on exile. The easiest combo I know is Rest in Peace with Helm of Obedience. I use this as an alternate win condition. If Rest in Peace is on the field you can activate the tap ability of the helm for 1 and it exiles their entire library. It does that because nothing ever hits the graveyard to stop the effect. My other I do to myself. I have a Grolnok The Omnivore deck. I built his deck with absolutely no basic land. Couple that with Hermit Druid while Grolnok is on the field and I exile my entire library with Croak counters and can play any of the cards. I play Thassa's Orcale from exile and win or play Lab Mac and get a card draw to win.
For exiling the library, Im so glad you mentioned Supreme Inquisitor as it is one of my favorite win-cons for my Kaho, Minamo Historian deck. It runs a critical mass of wizards as well as Kaho to find Dramatic Reversal and the like to untap my board with Supreme Inquisitor to exile my opponent's libraries. Its definitely on that comes out of nowhere.
Glissa, the Traitor is the best commander imo for any 'special' artifact deck (Jester's Cap, Booby Trap, Mindslaver) She is the easiest to make sure you keep your artifacts after each use.
Another idea for the #10 is going at least UW, playing wizened rogues as well as Lantern and using Hanna's Ship Navigator to return the artifacts and enchantments to your hand (i guess these cards fit into a Sharuun list as well).
I've made a few odd decks before, and they were all fun in their own ways: Naya Artifacts with Sidar Kondo and Akiri: tall with Akiri and equipment, wide with Sidar with servos/myr/thopters/constructs Exile-mill with Cosima: basically what you had with all the exile from library cards, but it's in mono blue with vehicle tribal Hand-mill with Azami: the whole idea of this deck was to get everyone else to have their whole library in their hands instead of in graveyards or exile. Basically, it had as many of the cards that made all players have no max hand size, and that made all players draw large numbers of cards without discarding any. Win-con being making your opponents draw from empty libraries while all their cards are already in their hands, and you don't lose thanks to draw replacement effects like Archmage's Ascension or Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar. Also, one more idea for unconventional decks: Phage or Haakon, since they have to be cast from your hand/grave instead of anywhere else. There's been a good number of support made for them lately, with Command Beacon and Netherborn Altar, as well as Torpor Orb for Phage.
Additional idea: Vorthos Decks. Limit yourself to lore specific/friendly cards. No "Garruk's Wake" in a Zombie deck for example. Works best with tribal decks though.
For the 9 Drop Deck: you could play obekka as the commander and play a bunch of the cheat effects like sneak attack and through the breach to cheat out grozoth as well as a lot of the cards you tutor for. But then, you can keep them all with obekka
I think you might like my Xanathar build. I describe it as a 'Bond villain'. It's all about determining the bottom card of their library and hitting them with Tunnel Vision.
Barren Glory is an easy condition to meet, it's expensive however. Lion's Eye Diamond and Jokulhaups . Just make sure BG is the only enchantment you have in play, cast Jokulhaups, crack LED in response, on your next upkeep, GG.
An easier way to abuse grandeur would probably be helm of the host paired with bounce effects like crystal shard, then you can use something like Phyrexian reclamation to add it back to hand. You can also use the commander legends sakashima and spark double. Then you can just clone Sakashima or spark double repeatedly to get additional non-legendary grandeur copies to make it significantly harder to remove without a board wipe.
If you want a tough alternate win card, Darksteel Reactor is great. Barren Glory win: Barren Glory, remove it with Oblivion Ring, then cast Apocalypse. Some Grandeur cards are good enough on their own: Baru, Fist of Krosa and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. (Equip him with Blackblade Reforged for a flavor win). For Booby Trap, you’ll need Academy Ruins to keep getting it back. Goblin Welder is good too
One of the ideas I was working on was temporary permanent removal. Using monowhites blink effects but using sundial of the Infinite to skip the end step and do basically mass exile
For the blue black granduer I was going to say new Sakashima and Tevesh szat using a ninjitsu and clone deck. You can use the ninjas as a garunteed bounce and have mirror gallery in the deck and the command zone. I don't know how well it would work but I think that would be closer to a garuntee to trigger granduer
Alt win condition: grand abolisher in play. Play Lethal vapors, activate it 200 times holding priority then cast teferi’s protection. You skip 200 turns while your opponents draw out and can’t hurt you
