Favourite thing? The genuine kindness of almost everyone I spoke with. The fact that almost everyone I had anything to do with seemed to care about me….that feeling is lost when you deal with Europeans in Thailand
as a half thai, they will only appear genuine and friendly when you are directly interacting with them. once you are out of their site, they *will* have an opinion about you and obviously gossip about it.
The genuine kindness of almost everyone I spoke with. The fact that almost everyone I had anything to do with seemed to care about me" it's only because he spoke fluent thai.
Im swedish but have lived in thailand my whole life. Great video it really is a beautiful country. I love the smiles and the food. You made a good choice to live here.
I've been in Thailand for three weeks last December. Lovely country and fantastic people, always cheerful and smiling! it has been one of the best experiences in my life!!!
I’ve lived here for eight years, three in Chiang Mai and five in Chiang Rai, and what surprises many is how diverse the country is and how different regions can be. One of my favorite books is ‘Working With the Thais’ by Henry Holmes and Suchada Tangtontavy. This would be an interesting subject on perspectives between Westerners and Thais to do a video of.
I got the chance to visit Thailand in September and OH MY GOODNESS! I have no words, I was so in love (especially with the locals). Your videos are so great, thanks for sharing.
I have lived in Thailand for 4 years now and sadly just 1 year to go until I move back to the Netherlands. I enjoy everything here so much! From the food to the culture, to the special types of holidays, easy access to beaches and especially Bangkok (Mainly because it's just such a lively city.) I think I will even miss the climate hahah
Went to Thailand back in 2018 for the first time in 16 years with my dad as a chance to explore part of my heritage (I'm half thai and was born in Thailand but moved to the UK and was raised there). My first thoughts were immediately about how familial everything felt to me when I visited and stayed in Pattaya. Everyone was so friendly and it was really nice to walk around and explore the local markets, tourist spots, everything just had a nice atmosphere to it. I don't have anything negative to say about my time there, everything was genuinely enjoyable. 10/10 would go back again.
I'm Thai, Thailand is hot. Therefore, Thai people like to put ice in drinks such as soft drinks, water, and beer as well. Except for chilled drinks even without ice
❤️Thailand has one of the best cultures.... Love to go there every year..... My favorite country. Btw many people didn't know that Red Bull actually from Thailand 🇹🇭
Lol ice in beer. My wife is from Thailand and its one of the first thing I learned to say; May how nam kang krap (no ice please) I love that country so much :)
OMG. “Ya Dom” ANY BLINKS RECOGNIZE WHEN LISA HAD ONE AND OTHER PEOPLE IN THE VAN WERE LAUGHING BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT THAT LISA SAID SOMETHING ELSE SIMILAR TO YA DOM OMG HAHAHAHA
I lived in Thailand for almost 5 years. I really missed Thailand because now I’m my Home country , Malaysia and I always beg my parents to maybe go back for a vacation. Lmao.
I’m Thai and I approve of this video. I love Lays chips, I love sniffing those menthol sticks, I love smiling, and hospitality is huge there which is funny cause I’m actually majoring in hospitality in college right now.
the world is such a amazing place, when I get out of school and university I will travel just like you , it had been my dream go ever the travel and see the wonderful place we call home 🌎
I am from San vincente, liloan, cebu province The Philippines🇵🇭🇵🇭 and l lived in bangkok more than 6 years and now I am back in San vincente I miss Thailand 🇹🇭🇹🇭
I hope Thailand's heavy air pollution gets better, I went last month and there were tons of locals wearing facemasks. Great video, everything u said is correct this haha
The nickname thing is so true! My family used to host Thai exchange students and some of the nicknames I remember were "Bank" and "Benz" (like Mercedes-Benz). Never knew that was the reason why.
My favorite part is my girlfriend. The way she approaches life and our relationship is… well… idk, but it’s pretty great. How close she is with her family and how welcoming they have been to me has been very touching ❤ The food, legal weed, happy/helpful people, low costs etc. are all pretty great too
Love Thailand . From all the countries i visted that's the one i fell in love ( not from first sight to be honest). I do travel there every year because it works like a magnet for me ... 😍

@@private2348 Nope, nobody in Germany would ever accept warm beer. The Germans even dug caves underneath their beer gardens to keep the beer cool in pre-refrigerator times.
I loveee Thailand! I went to it when I was 4 When my dad says “ We will go to a new country like turkey! “ I cry then I say “ NOOOOK I WANT THAILAND “ I’m a cry baby
I’m Thai and I live in Thailand. Also the name thing is so true because I know a person named “In Love” and “Iphone” and also “บะหมี่” which means noodles and a bunch more people
Hi there, I was adopted from Thailand by Swedish parents when I was six weeks old. Please, how do you learn Thai the fastest? I'm definitely NOT Thai when it comes to white obsession lol 😂, though I've had other Thais thinking I'm lucky cos I've got fairer skin, and I've also had Thais asking if my birthmark is a skin bleaching gone bad lol 😂
Me: **walks up to a thailand dude in the middle of the streets** Thai dude; ?? 😃 hello! How are you?! 👋 Me: * reaches to the top of his head * * touches * Thai dude: SKKKKKKKSKSKSKSKKSKSKKSKSKKKKK 🔫😏
