You spend 4 months in South India but bro you have to spend 1 month in each north, south, west, east india all are different bro so it's a video about South India not all India bro
That's not chalk... It's rice powder. Ants would not have to walk too far or too long for a meal. The rice powder also invites birds and other small creatures to eat it, thus welcoming other beings into one's home and everyday life: a daily tribute to harmonious co-existence. It is a sign of invitation to welcome all into the home, not the least of whom is Lakshmi, the Goddess of prosperity and wealth.
My boyfriend is Indian and he touches his parent's feet whenever he meets them. Initially I found that quite odd since in Italy we re used to hugging and kissing, but when he explained to me the meaning of the gesture, I was amazed. In general the respect that Indians have towards elders is quite amazing and very different from the rest of the world. Maybe you should also include that. Oh and also have you tried Hajmola? ;)
Hindus respect parents coz Sometimes might god failed to help but not parents. So we touch feets of our parents to show respect n to take blessings from them.
We are moroccan girls we live in india we made this youtube to sho mw all indian culture we need ur support to grow up and make new and better videos about this beautiful country🤗
It's hard to describe India in just few minutes.... India is the most diverse country in the planet. You can find (28+7) different types of culture all across the nation, Love From WB, INDIA ❤️
@@arunkumarkundra6042 So, you mean ONLY in South India? In west, East, North India we serve saunf. Plus the footage looks EXACTLY like saunf, nothing like jeera.
am planning to travel India with my friends in winter. What a wonderful place. It's a country with a lot of potential and a lot of great engineers.😊 am sure that India will become a world power in the future👍I love india 🥰
Im brazillian but i find so fascinating indian culture, people there seem to be soo nice! The culture is so cool, and the visuals are amazing. i wish i could travel there someday.

Love for India from Pakistan 🇵🇰🇮🇳. The people of the subcontinent are the most talented people, we just need to unite. I have very good frndz from India.❤
Ur talking about uniting? That to pak and India? At first place,pl tell ur Pakistan govt. to stop supporting the terrorists of ur region. And then think about uniting😂🙏
Yeah. It's true but unfortunately we have selected different choices to show our talents. I hope Pakistani people change their choice and pick up painting brushes, musical instruments, etc instead of AK56 to show their talents
Bro you forgot to add one thing.. We Indians live with our parents ..We believe that our parents are our world.. I want to tell you a short story of Lord Ganesh son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Once Lord ganesh and his brother Lord kartike had arugumnt that who is more powerful.. So everyone gathered at Lord Shiva's kailas and then they announced a competition.. The competition was to rotate around entire universe for 3 times. As soon as they announced kartikey flew away but Lord ganesh stayed their and he started rotating around his parent and then Lord shiva announced that Ganesh is a winner. This shocked everyone standing there. They were like but ganesh didn't go anywhere he was standing here.. How come he won the competition.. Then Lord shiva smiled and said because he considered his parents as his entire universe and rotate around them thrice. So he's the winner.. Like Lord Ganesh, we Indians believe that our parents are our world..
Thats why kids are so weak. So depending on their parents. Parents decide career of their kids without even asking their intrest. Even brides for their children is decided by parents 😂😂😂.
@@notoriousbig5705 Atleast we don't leave our parents behind to suffer in their old age. And what did you say partents decide everything .. What's wrong in that..They know the world better than us. They are the only one who always wants us to be happy. I feel pity for guys who thinks that living with parents makes us weak. Nothing in this world is more powerful than parents love.
@@notoriousbig5705 the condition u say is some 50 years back bro... Now it's completely changed. And now, mostly brides are chosen by our parents. Because we live married life along with our parents in a same home. Since we need to cope with each and everyone of our family member. Here in India, we see Marriage, not just for having kids or, as a licence for love making.
India is one of the most diverse countries on the planet. Home to every religion, community i.e. Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism, Islam. Weirdest cuisines, diverse languages, different terrains, culture, music. Blessings and gratitude to all. Namaste and greetings from the Himalayas 🙏
That's literally what he just said 😂.. It's just he wouldn't understand the specifics cuz he's not Indian... So to him or any non Indian it cud mean anything.
Why is that the headmovements which western people do are never mentioned . I mean have you seen the whole extra overacting added with hand head and eyes.. Irritating actually
Utterly joyous country, people are the friendliest, food the greatest and most diverse. Mixing of populations and accepting of others, unsurpassed. Complete joy. Great video.
@@AlluringPegasu13 Thank you for your honest comment. I have to say that many people in the world endure hardship, but few nations are so accepting of others as a generality. All Indians I have met I have been impressed by.
I am an Indian and half of the things you told are new for me, which exactly goes to show you how diverse our country is and four months are simply not enough!
Fun fact is all the foreigners assumption👉india is some kind of classic tradition and full of rural areas And the fact is only some states are like that.. especially kerala is rhe best state in our country..
2:26 that's not Jeera I guess. I think that's sauf. They look similar but they taste and smells different. They are completely different spices. Edit: I looked up on google it said in Malayalam fennel is "perum jirakam" and cumin is "jirakam". So people like me who didn't know about it got confused. Because in Assamese we got a lot of common words like in Hindi and we know fennel as saunf and cumin as jeera.
Jenima Rai Who cares ? It’s still indian lmao. Most of them are not Tamil Nadu. Only the veshti and thé rangoli. But the rest can be seen in different parts of India. Especially cows which Is seen in many parts of India.
@@aqilbshk2467lol, WTF if u Being an Indian Say it's a, Sign of So Uneducated OR u haven't Travel. It's Changes all, Geographically, Language (427) ,People be race, Region, Culture, Staple food, Climate. Everything, & here Comes Dumbass who says All over India is same.
The bromance thing, let me tell you when I first moved to Kerala and made some friends there I felt very much awkward when my male friends tried to hug me or hold my hands, for a few days I was in so much depression that I thought my besties are trying to sexually harass me. But when I get to know all this then I laughed at myself and my thinking.
Hugging and holding hands r alright but in Kerala men slap each other’s butt. Note: this is just a joke based off of my personal experiences. Not all people from Kerala are like that. I can’t believe I have to say this 🤦🏾♂️
@I am anonymous we have lived together for centuries. It's not about religion, and we had a different religion before Islam: Hinduism probably. That's how we are connected you can say from you perspective.
@Akash Guha Thakurata Yes, Basically Indus(in pak) was the origin of all of us. The residents of the place where I live (KP) were probably Buddhist before Islam, but again Buddhism has emerged from the hindu doctrine.
This was a stupendous video! By the way, I don't see how any of these things are wacky, it's just Indian culture. And by the way, I really got connected to the cricket fact; being from Hyderabad, I LOVE CRICKET!!! 😎😎😎
The white drawings were traditionally made with grinded rice and the idea behind it was to feed the small creatures like ants, birds etc. With time we have started using white powder and colours. In Maharashta we call it Raangoli, north indians call It Rangoli, south they call Kollam. We might think we are different people, but let me tell you we are connevted by same culture.
Well south India has most of India's tradition with in it, while the other parts of India are slowly but surely moving towards western culture leaving Indian tradition behind.
@Ryan Lyt the fact is, 1. they contribute more in the Indian economy 2. Lesser gender discrimination. 3. Better education level, in 2005, my engineering College had half the staff of South Indian teachers. 4. Almost no history of religious riots. Apart from that, how are we any better ?
@@athulkk9232 get your facts right. The British fed u up the story of dravidian and aryan, it's been debunked, go and research. But if you want to stay in your safe bubble of pride, you can.
I am glad that you took south indian😍. Like in some of the avenger movies and some hollywood movies they always shows the northern india and thier culture. I loved this

Hi Drew!Very insightful ~ the 14 wacky things.Just a gentle correction( as a native bindi Indian) that rhise seds offered after a meal are fennel ( called Saunf in Hindi)not cumin/ Zeera.
@Drew those are not cumin seeds, they are fennel seeds (Saunf) coated in sugar. Its usually given in the end to aid in digestion and also refresh your palette as Indian food tends to have a strong flavour and aroma
no shukla ji. its not the same as south indian wobbling, their yes is not nod its wobble. I asked autorickshaw in Chennai if he will go, he just wobbled his head, i thought he said no so i left then again he called me and said that he will go. then i understood this action

i am indian. and i think, 'v' and 'w' problem is only in certain languages here. like in marathi , 'w' sound is prominent. people use 'v' sound more i feel
Shivranjini G Hegde Yes I agree, but I think despite people having the letters in their languages, there is a tendency to pronounce them incorrectly out of habit in India. I think the situation described in the video was in reference to South India while North Indian languages tend to do the opposite.
Yes , sad that Foreigners do know about western, southern and northen India especially, .. they never been told about eastern or northeastern part ... but good that we viewers made some youtubers like volpe(carlos) and david to travel to eastern and northeastern part and their experience was amazing and they came back again. You can watch them on YT.
Ok , I see many comments like..its south india just come to north...etc...I'm not telling it wrong but ...we are all one .. Every place be it north or east or south is INDIA and we are one..
When I see comment ...i proud iam indian.. love you india...i am indian.i grantee one thing in indian people's his heart 100% clean and love touching all people in hole world,.❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹
It's not about India..it's only about south india.. India cannot be explained in one life.. it's culture and diversity is so so large.. even Indians do not know about it completely..each single City of India is different from others.. U can't even imagine...
Seriously why everyone hates North Indians? Did we do something wrong? Ik there are crimes and I also find them disgusting but pls understand we are also indians by heart and soul and also deserve some respect
