Hi Damian, This is great - I've just discovered your channel and I'm really enjoying your no BS approach to all of this, and without all the padding that a lot of other, similar videos tend to have. Thanks so much! :-)
Brilliant as ALWAYS Damo! I always learn so much from your videos, it still blows me away the level of value that you consistently provide! I always learn SO much from your excellent content. I'm still shook that your channel hasn't blown up more than this. You DEFINITELY are the best DIY musician channel I've ever discovered! ^-^🙏 thank you SO much for all of your assistance brother. means more than I can say in words! (:
Damian, thank you for all of the awesome content your providing, pouring out information that make tons of sense, and my band members agree. We are just getting started, and are utilizing your ideas. Just tonight our practice rehearsal was on point, we did what you said, by running through a number, and then finding any tough points and looped them. wow, the results were OUTFUCKINGSTANDING!! we rehearse twice a week, and save a day outside of rehearsal for recording tracks, for our songs, to master, and record live footage for audience content. Tuesday, were just picking one of our songs, to make tight, and Thursdays, we do a practice gig rehearsal, practice to play live. I wanted to give you a shout out, thank you for the knowledge, and knowledge that you have experienced first hand, thank you again for sharing..
Thanks dude I am working on a few new things, from a daily marketing plan/update on the book (which will include this managing a band idea amongst others) and going back to do a new #AskDamo show but want to make it new and exciting... Starting 1st week of June :)
Our active hours are pretty constant throughout the day... Does this mean the same 200 people are active most of the day or any of our fans (to a total of 200) are active at that time? Also, is it better to have your post ready just before the peak happens or should you be posting exactly when the peak happens? Cheers
Hi Chris, most peaks tend to build into a spike so I would look to post around 15-30 mins before the spike also that gives time for any problems. With your demographic if you check out Facebook > Insights > Posts This page will show when your fans are online, it will probably look like a whale shape and not have too many peaks but its good to see. Usual times on RU-vid are all about consistency so if there is a specific time that is best for you then go with it and keep it regular. hope this helps dude :)
Okay, okay, okay, I'll click the bell, I'll click the bell! I totally feel like this video was literally made just for me. Damo, can you do me a favour? Can we do something together, I'll do something that brings value to you, but can I actually get what I'm doing onto your facebook or onto your Instagram, or RU-vid. Totally up for a chat about something that we can do together so I can get my stuff to your audience. I'm quite happy to return the favour or pay for it in some way, not necessarily financially. I'm sure you've cottoned on to what I'm doing here, and all joking aside, I would be VERY much interested in catching up with you.
