@@tangytablets5150 a game where the pokedex entries are literal and the pokemon actually do the things mentioned in them, i imagine? basically, lots of possession, child and soul stealing, mindless slaughter, no more family-friendly "being KO'd", and possibly worse things.
To be honest, I unironically love the lore that the Pokédex provides. New entries are one of the things I look forward to the most in new Pokémon games.
Even if the lore can be... unreliable, at times, they can still provide insight into how the people of the pokemon world think. Like the blatant lies that accompany some of the prehistoric pokemon entries, or lies that later pokedex entries will even outright admit to (liek the Electabuzz ones).
Never thought of Zoroark Using Illusion to help its lonely Trainer, instead of doing an 18+ Illusion it could just make an Illusion of the Trainer's Home if they just homesick while traveling
I just love how bluntly violent some of the newer entries are. Just look at Roserade’s Shield entry:The poison in its right hand is quick acting. The poison in its left hand is slow acting. Both are life threatening.
Take the blue flower, you succumb to a mild poison that takes you slowly. Take the red flower, the heavy poison that takes you quickly. Choose your flower.
@@emanuelrojas2i'd take the blue flower in a heartbeat. the dex just says it's "life-threatening", and they literally sell antidotes at every convenience store in the pokemon world
@@alicebunnymera Wailord had that issue in the previous gen as well. Smaller pokemon are generally scaled better, but clearly there is some kind of programming issue for battles and camp/following pokemon they were unwilling or unable to correct. They're clearly able to scale them right (as shown with the full scale Wailord in Isle of Armor) and do so for cut scenes and the overworld.
@@Ryodraco There have been youtubers who've fixed the scaling problem. I mean, Wailord is MASSIVE, so I can't really blame them for that, but other pokémon could've been better scaled.
This just makes me sad. I'm sticking with the original lewd interpretation; it's still more wholesome than illusory imitations of dead friends and Pokemon.
@@MissRora that reminds me of an old old theory from gen 5 about N secretly being a zoroark that thinks he's human or something. it would explain his intense bond with pokemon and being weird around people, but I still prefer to think that he's completely human that simply never had healthy human interaction
@@No-yp7kr ... It's the internet, even if the source material is wholesome, it's fans are not always going to protect or respect the sanctity of such things.
First idk what a vtuber is but a friend who frequents sites like e621 says most zoroark pic usually have a comment asking "But is it an ilussion though"
The Malamar one makes me think of the XY anime episodes that was like “LOOK Something earth shattering is about to happen!” But then the finale of that arc never really happened/showed what they were intending to originally talk about
Am I the only one who just imagined Zooark showing lonely trainers illusions of people they could talk to or maybe like an interactive story? Also these kids are about ten.
@@Gatchu137All of the rivals:Are we jokes to you? Also we have youngsters and preschoolers out there too. Oh and cynthia seems to fall in that group too
@@morgankundrick8289 I'm pretty sure Cynthia is canonically a mom, so I really doubt she's ten. And for all the preschoolers and youngsters, you have hikers, scientists, ace trainers, police, gym leaders, swimmers, bikers. Like, of all the trainers you battle in the games, only like 10% of them are actually children.
malamar having influenced history changing events does not even suprise me just look at the anime one malamar was the shadowleader of an evil organization, led by an hypnotized officer jenny
Man I remember that episode. It was like a gang of Malamar that actually appeared in a couple of episodes. It is very rare that Pokemon themselves are an antagonist in an episode that are aiming for world conquest.
“...The next entry which comes out this Halloween” So..... so tomorrow, then? You’re uploading a new video two days in a row? Wow, I don’t know if you’ve ever done that before..
I especially like to think of Zoroark’s dex entry with the purpose of the Pokedex in mind. It was made to give trainers info about Pokemon. For most of these creepy entries I can see them serving as insight into Pokemon behavior or as warnings for less experienced trainers. But this, this is just giving people bad ideas.
Depending on how long the hairs are it might be pretty hard to bite them off without going for the root and/or ripping them out and therefore damaging skin^^
When you stop thinking with the filthy imagination for an moment the Zoroark entry is actually an sad one an 10 year going on an long journey by themselves of course they going to feel lonely and if fully understanding Zoroark ability and power perhaps they are wanting to see their mom or father or other family members wanting to hug them. Their just missing those that mean a lot to them and Zorua/Zoroark is happy to help with that.
It's back! Edit: We gonna talk about the sandygast contradiction? In S&M it said that putting your hand in it's mouth drained your life force and grabbing the shovel forces you to dig till you die, now it says putting your hand in it's mouth forces you to dig till you die? I don't think so.
nah, they know who's playing pokemon. a large sum of them are adults in their 20s-30s the new writers they hired since sun and moon wants to destroy their childhood
Idea: weird and creepy Digimon descriptions. The first ones that come to mind are MetalGreymon having the power of a nuclear warhead, and Veedramon being mistaken for a dog.
I thought it'd just like, take them to a fantasy world, like some sort of (family-friendly) LARP with their OCs to talk to or something like that 😅 That makes more sense to me than.. the 18+ thing. Friends would cure loneliness better than, uh, "18+ activities", I would think.
Here’s an idea for a new video: More Weird/Creepy Pokédex Entries(!). Only entries with an “!” are allowed. There’s plenty of them, especially in the Ultra games!
Bouffalant's entry reminds me of how when male lions lose in a fight for dominance over the pride, its mane falls out. Golduck's makes it sound more kappa-like since the first generation.
Golduck's Shield Dex entry makes more sense when you consider that Golduck is based on the Kappa, a water demon that is said to drown anyone who swims in the rivers and lakes it inhabits.
Apparently I’m just the oblivious sorts, but when you mentioned Zoroak’s entry my first thought was, like, transforming into an old family friend or someone who passed away or something. Someone to talk to when no one is there elsewise.
I caught a Malimar when I was first playing through the game and because of its pokedex entree I totally thought it was gonna have some sorta minor plot relevance like be a key part of some evil plan the legendary wolfs battled against in the past lmao
This is the only "pokemon" channel i'm still subscribed to way after i was into pokemon games, if this isn't a statement to the quality of this channel i don't know what is
So what the Pokédex is saying is that Malamar might’ve caused/influenced the Darkest Day, the invention of the Ultimate Weapon, the fight between the 2 Unovan kings, and also Volo summoning Giratina?
Haha. Marowak cannot harm me! I already come pre-equipped with chronic pain and crippling depression and mental illness! Your flames are powerless here!
