And as someone who never ran the perk, I do hope the devs revert the stun duration nerf, because 3 seconds is often not enough time to get to safety against most killers.
Wraith was always able to tunnel, especially before BT's recent change. Playing like that is not punishing mistakes, it's loading up the game for the sole purpose of ruining someone's match.
@@Bee-ef7tz as a wraith main I enjoyed wraith more pre-buff, now all you have to do is slap two purple addons on and since the game matches you with two white ranks and two red ranks the game is pretty much yours. and every wraith I play against is toxic af when they wouldn’t even need to be if they applied pressure right.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even consider that Wraith game tragic. The amount of teamwork they pulled off for Steve was incredible, more so if they were all Solo Q. The fact that the Wraith left them on the ground like that shows how much they got to him. You don’t need to escape to win sometimes. I see that game as an absolute victory, especially now that it has been immortalized online.
Been seeing a lot of that lately. The "I'll just hook, and tunnel". it works until you get someone that runs them, but god damn if it isn't scummy. Still, killer peaced out because they knew they were playing like an asshole.
I'm surprised he didn't show the real tragedy of the first game. In that game, the Huntress had mercy and gave the Claudette the exit gate after closing the hatch. I remember chat was malding like crazy lol

Alas, justice was served to the stupid beesh. But honestly, these kind of survivors wouldnt be a problem in solo queue, if they wouldnt be in the same ranks as the actual good players. I wouldnt mind having these kinda noobs in rank 20-10, but the sad thing is, they still exist in rank 5-1...
@@realglutenfree Dude, I started playing on PC after 2 Years on Console and these people are inhabitants of literally every rank. I mostly solo q. But damn I hate these kind of survivors and literally none of them is doing gens while some other people get chased
@@dustinhildebrand4794 Would just be nice if the ranking system would be actually useful. Right now you basically have only two ranks: Absolute noobs in rank 20-10 and everything after that is a mix of either godlike players or adapt noobs who take sprint burst and never ever run because they are afraid of having a cooldown.
I swear that Huntress and Wraith match with the tunneling, is why it sucks to be decent at looping as survivor. You are punished and die in the game, because the killer's ego is damaged. Yikes
@@Holdupjff they do sometimes, but sometimes you get those people who blood lust you enough to catch you. Then will face camp you because you used every pallet on the map

Otz lose to tunneler Wraith, but got the consolation boop from his waifu. Im sure that Wraith was left alone in a dark room and angrily muttered to himself how difficult it was to play as a killer

This is a direct contrast to OTz' most satisfying clips. These clips are convey a lot of emotional responses, but lemme tell you none of those are satisfaction
I wouldn't consider that Wraith game a loss. You defended Steve for a solid amount of time, saving him time after time. Then that Wraith absolutely tunneled you after Steve's death. You got into his head. You won. Edit: also that Huntress that tunneled and hit you on hook afterwards had to be an emotionless AI with that GGWP at the end
Happened to me once. Played against a doctor that was determined to kill my Leon. She stopped at nothing to do it. And I probably would've been really frustrated (I mean I was but not as much as usual) if I just....didn't have a great team. They never gave up on me and the Jane that finally led me to safety and getting me out those doors....thank you. I literally think about those three all the time lol
Forgive me, Southrobin, for I have sinned. One time I played Nemesis and tunneled Chris out of the game and then let everyone else leave because he was the only member of S.T.A.R.S. in the game

Its so strange, coming back to the game after nearly a year of not playing DBD, and seeing that the killer you loved and played a ton is now being seen as a tunneling hook camping killer. And its a shame people play like that cus Wraith can actually do some great 4 v 1 plays….
I love watching killers get outplayed for an extreme length of time then shake their head no, hit on hook but the only reason they even got that kill was due to other incompetent survivors not the person that outplayed them. Kind of feel bad for those people lol
i don’t use kindred anymore cuz i realized that my teammates actually save me less when i run it cuz they’re too scared when they see the killers aura lmao
Otz literally played a game of protect the president which now I feel like should be an additional game mode where if the person the killer tunnels dies and DOENST escape you lose.

Some of these killers really see survivors as a punching bag and not humans on the other side of the screen lmao. Survivors are also guilty of this sometimes. I wish the community would be nicer, or that tunneling would be punished harder.
I haven’t consistently played this game in months and honestly I’m not even sure if that’s a decision I regret. Otz is still pog to watch so I’m kinda just winning regardless
@Mr Pickles I play surv in the morning if I have time, but mostly killer at night. Honestly? Just kinda be good at the game. I'm a competitive person, I like winning (within reason, I've never brought a pink key or played Spirit for more than 1 match) and if your good and outplay people consistently, the game is fun. Also stay away from hyper-meta sweating. Don't just run the 4 second chance perks because your games will get stale. Find perks(or killers) that you like, and aren't just what the meta tells you. I'm partial to Head On and P E B B L E because I think they're funny, but some other people swear by Lithe and Balanced.

honestly that wraith game with steve has been every solo queue game i've played in the last two days of sbmm. killer catches one person, facecamps, and hard tunnels them to death as soon as possible, then repeats. i know it's a way to win, but god, what a joyless way to play.
"what could this steve have done" he probably just looped the killer. every single EU wraith i've seen get looped absolutely tunneled and facecamped every person who did it. and if nothing else works, 90% of them have noed. it's just what wraiths are

@@lanakat dont know what skill level you are playing on but the wraiths I go against in EU are quite good they use perks that destroy you midgame instead of noed and they perform well without any of that strats... Yes occasionally there is a shithead but thats so rare you are exaggerating haaard
I’ve seen another comment to claimed to have done detective work and found that the Wraith just kinda… Does that in general. As in, hard tunnelling/ camping is typical gameplay for them based off of the comments on his Steam page. I can’t confirm this, but given how little time there was for that Steve to really do anything, I’m not unconvinced.
The Wraith game explanation could be as simple as "had archive to kill 4 survivors by any means". They encourage this behavior, reward it with bloodpoints and achievements, and leave it to the COMMUNITY to sort it out with almost zero moderation. This is how a game gets a reputation for being toxic.
The thing I hate the most is that the devs don't fix anything until enough people complain or someone with influence does and even then they barely fix anything before adding like 10 more unbalanced perks or add ins or whatever.
That kinda play style is what ruined most of the anniversary event and double bloodpoint event. That wraith tunneling the steve all game happened a lot during the events and 4 man slugging at 4-5 gens still. And for what? The rank 1 killer got mad steve got the burn on him? Jeez….. love your content but that wraith just brought back bad memories of why the 5 year event was the worst I’ve ever seen plus nemesis and all the lag for consoles.

@@Totallynotkyubey I don’t play like that no matter how “tilted” I get. Been against plenty of sweaty 4 mans and flashlights 3 brand new parts ect. Choosing to keep your cool still looks a lot better in my eyes than getting butthurt and tunneling one person all game.
@@felixthecat0w025 Yep, its not easy some days when the Survivors or Killer is especially scummy, but paying toxicity with toxicity just keeps the cycle going. I do agree with @Totallynotkyubey though the dbd community is pretty bad in this regard. As Otz said in his BP bonus addon vid, people are too obsessed with winning rather than having fun. That Steve vid a is a good example. They were tunneled by the sweatiest Wraith imaginable, lost, and the remaining Survivors were forced to bleed out, but they kept their head high and seemed to enjoy themselves, and that means more than winning.

@@coolguyman16 That Wraith, imo, was even going out of his way to tunnel, rather then actually win via getting early kill. It's just a lack of communication within survivor group/over-altruistic plays and not that good gen dedication killed all of them. And over-altruistic plays tend to kill everyone, instead of 1-2 survivors maximum.
Yea except the Wraith was actually drawing the game out and making it longer than necessary. Tbagging survivors can’t hold the killer hostage for a short time.

Well, if they did gens instead the killer would've felt the pressure but the way that went down they pretty much played right into his hands. Their fault tbh.
I don't think my heart can take so many minutes of people making horrible decisions in this game and screw over the good players. Now that wraith was disgusting, Steve didn't go a gen right after being unhooked making for strategic tunneling, Wraith was just straight up hard tunneling. Wish I could see how mad he was with them all body blocking.
I frequently enjoy watching true crime stories and documentaries of real life tragic events to help me count my blessings and be happy that I don't have it as bad as other people and this video definitely fits into that whole category LOL

Yeah… That might work if he started playing more try-hard, but he didn’t. He literally tunnelled that Steve and, had he not been facing and more altruistic team, would probably have just… Lost the game for it. I’ve Leatherface who are the same. They even have the gall to sit there and hit you while you’ll struggle on hook because they’re annoyed that you won’t die so they can go stop the gates being opened. I say this as a killer main who still kinda thinks Survivors are typically more CONSISTENTLY toxic in my experience, but there are definitely some absolutely garbage killers out there that would rather secure one or two kills than actually have fun with the survivors in a game and it sucks.

It's one of the more consistent ways to achieve rank 1. To add on to that, rank 1 survivors tend to generally be a bit more toxic and competent which can be frustrating for some killers to go against. This makes killers play more scummy to "counter" that. It goes both ways
So I just hopped off to get something to eat, after about 4 hours of playing DbD... And uh... yeah the game is only minimized, not closed... So uhm. After I ate I sure will open the tab again and play even more. Why do I hate my life?
that second to last game i feel in my soul, the amount of times ive ran killer for an entire gens worth or more, like the time it would take to finish one gen, theoretically speaking if all 3 other survivors were on separate gens they're should be 3 gen pops, only to get hooked with zero maybe 1 gen, is atreocious. I've said it before and I'll say it again, everyone wants to be a hero and flashlight save or pallet stun or go for the unhook right away, even if it means coming from the other side of the map and or not doing gens just so theyre immediately there for the save. Doing gens just arent in some peoples meta
It's amazing how much of this could have been avoided by simply doing the gens in time. Who could have ever imagined that doing your main objective is important?

I played agaisnt that wraith about a year ago i think. Man slugged me for the full 3 and a half minutes at the end while cloaking and unlocking and then facecamped me on the hook. I wasny even mad it was just kinda pathetic
