@@saschaberger3212 Blue Bidya Game is reviewing every PS1 game, along with history about the development of the respective game and other information (for example of the developer).
@@saschaberger3212I'm currently working on that(But only games released in North America). Haven't gotten any videos out yet. There are a couple of other RU-vidrs that have attempted it and quit and there's another one who released a handful of videos, didn't upload for like seven months and then uploaded a few more but hasn't uploaded again in the last couple of months.
Can't help but feel all your lists would be much better and more fun to watch if you used your personal opinions rather than reading from a list on Metacritic.
My friend had that game and we played it so much. I can't believe it was so poorly rated. But also I was nine. Probably doesn't hurt than the N64 had a pretty limited library.
8:14 The parallels between War Gods and Mortal Kombat 4 are so glaring that it’s commonly believed War Gods was developed as a sort of test run for Mortal Kombat’s first foray into 3D. That’s been debunked by various former Midway employees including Ed Boon himself, who said MK4 was already deep into development before anyone from the War Gods team got involved.
I get that this list was created based on officially reviewed scores, but honestly there are much worse games in the N64 than these. I’d rather play more than half of these games than Batman Beyond, Carmageddon, the first FIFA, or specially that awful Powerpuff Girls fighting game (my choice for worst game on the system).
Sure the ten games on the list are some of the worse N64 games but they aren’t the absolute worse. Are they saying they really couldn’t find enough reviews of MK Mythologies?
I will never forget renting Superman 64 circa 2000 when I was a wee lad only 6 years old.. the cover looked so cool but sadly I only got past the first level 😔
Both Califorina Speed and GT64 are OK games. The problem with this channel is that the just go by online reviews scores instead of actually playing the games themselves.
I disagree about Aidyn Chronicles. At the time, reviewers were harsh on any JRPG that wasnt trying to be Final Fantasy. Plus, there was a stigma against N64 RPGs. Needless to say, it would not be difficult at all to come up with a large handful of N64 games that are much much worse.
My vivid memory of Nagano 98 is that you could make the mountains flip upside down in the bobsled because they just rotated the background art to simulate the curves. So, i mean, i guess i can understand how it was panned. But it was hilarious and awesome too.
The last word in the title of _Superman: The New Superman Aventures_ (as spelled on the box) is actually correct... in French, the native language of the game's France-based development studio. So, it's less of a typo (well, it still is in English) and more of a jarring last minute switch in languages when they were writing the title.
At after school care, we had 3 N64 games, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Superman 64 After playing the first two for probably hundreds of hours I only put maybe 20 minutes into Superman, and just thought that non-Mario games were permanently rubbish
I haven't started watching the video yet but I have to say the thumbnail is perfect. Worst N64 games and you're showing Superman 64 but you're making what should totally be a meme but won't be but should be a meme because there's that pixelated 3D Superman from the game that is just so infamously bad just staring right at you. He's challenging you. Superman is challenging the viewer and daring you to call out his game. He might shoot you with those laser eyes😂
Superman 64 was the first bad game i ever played. I was so young and only played a few great games so i just didnt know games could be bad... it is forever the ultimate awful game and i hate it with every fiber of my being
GT64 was actually a decent racing game, especially early on. I understand most people not liking it since you are correct that it is middle ground of Sim and Arcade. It contains a lot more Sim than people realise tho which is evident from the amount of people who drift in that game.
14:40 I remember that one. I never knew how to Save the game so I always had to start from the beginning every time that I played it 😅I also remember that I once played a bunch of the Megazord fights and I ended up unlocking one of the enemy monstera that I thought that could only be unlocked by playing the story
Moat of these (including Superman) wouldn't even make my worst 50 N64 gsmes. My bottom 10 are Tom & Jerry Fists of Furry, MK Anthologies Sub Zero, Hercules, Transformers Beast Wars Transmetals, Clayfighter 63 1/3, Monopoly, Clayfighter Sculptors Cut, Powerpuff Girls: Chenical X-Traction, Heiwa Pachinko Word 64 and Taz Express.
9:42 I remember renting this game from Hollywood Video back in the day. I was hoping it would be like Cruis 'N USA, but it was total garbage in comparison. I don't remember it being that bad like so bad it deserves to be in the top 10 worst N64 games but yeah it was bad. The arcade was a lot better. Even the shopping mall was more fun because they were cardboard cutouts of people in the shopping malls that acted as real people in a way because when you run them over they would scream but they were just kind of get flipped off the screen instead of being squashed down
I never played that other RPG on this list but it must have been pretty bad to be worse than Quest 64. The main character is named BRIAN FFS. It was the blandest most bare bones RPG I ever played.
Superman is hilariously bad. Everyone should attempt the first few levels of that game Why they made it all so difficult and frustrating is a marvel of game design. Its almost as if they designed it to piss people off
LOL you covered some real stinkers there guys! The power rangers one wins the trophy hands down then superman. Honestly though i actually thought G.A.S.P Was pretty decent other than that though Agree on the rest
Please base your lists on your own opinions rather than the opinions of gaming journalists. It's more interesting to know what you guys believe are the worst games than taking scores from sites that we all can just find online.
I never actually owned a Nintendo 64, (PlayStation gal) but the legendary Superman 64 has to be the worst game of its time! Just seeing the footage over the years is enough to know how really bad it was!
Please don't read if you like Goldeneye. I hate Goldeneye. I hate how it looks and how it controls. My god, even back then I HATED how the aiming works and how the game feels. I'm an old ass man now and I still haven't managed to understand just how people can have fun with that horrible excuse for entertainment. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, I've lost friends over this and I know I'm the oddj...ball
I can't say I agree with your opinion but I will defend to the death your right to have it. Sadly I will be using a klobb to defend you so I won't last long.
@@Banquet42 HA! Poor Ken Lobb. Forever associated with that butt cheek of a gun. It didn’t age well, the HD re-releases are wonky on current controls & Perfect Dark was better, but I loved it.
