Fast and Furious: Crosswords sounds like it could be fun. It would be a drag racing game where it auto drives as you solve a crossword. Every word you get right gives you a nitrous boost while entering wrong words decreases speed. Other modes included would be word search, and the word scramble game where you make as many words as possible by connecting letters, the longer the word the bigger the speed boost. Or a mode where you have to select answers to A B C questions, each letter sending you down a different path in the track, selecting all correct answers would send you down the shortest possible path, while wrong answers will cause your car to go down longer winding paths. Racing against other players online in modes like scramble would be really fun I think with the constant boosts to speed. Winning would give you cash to upgrade cars and tracks.
I was at a gamestore earlier to get some more gamecube games and I found that on one of the shelves for GC games I didn't buy it but I might buy it next month if they still have it, the games I bought are Tom clancy's splinter cell and medal of honor rising sun for gamecube and hitman absolution for xbox 360, all three games together with tax was only 24 US dollars
I played Xiii mostly on gamecube. It has pc style pause the game and quick save, no checkpoints and it took forever to load. I could start a level walk through a door, get killed and it would have to load the whole thing over again to start the level. If the loading wasn't so horrendous then I would of had more fun with it
Ben and Peter are the most professional sounding unprofessionals on all of RU-vid. So glad finally got a channel with some success was worried was gonna lose then for the third time lol. Lets get these sub numbers up and make it a great year for these guys!
It seems so weird to me that someone would try and clone Hollow Knight. The thing that makes Hollow Knight so special are all the small touches that are so hard to replicate.
Some dishonorable mentions: Pooplers (Yes, that’s the name) Bounty Battle (at least that was in the montage) Cooking Mama: Cookstar Femida Curse of Annabelle Super Tennis Make War Bless Unleashed Tamarin... looks like a fun game I wanna play 🤭
that tiny racer is mostly a unity template with some modifications, there is a game on steam called Barro that is exactly the same except probably worse
"Remothered" is an obscure term for the goals of psychological experiments done decades ago to try and rewrite someone's brain from the ground up. It sounds hilariously misguided, but the lengths some people went to are truly the stuff of nightmares, though the game does not seem to be that on...ANY level.
lmao Tiny Cars really got me cause like wtf those cars weren't even tiny at all there was just a blurry depth of field effect everywhere. Those were some god damn full-size cars driving on full-size wood bridges beside full-size mountains
I was so looking forward for the XIII remake, because the original doesn't play well on a modern PC mostly because of bad (or none) UI scaling on higher resolutions. And it didn't run very well when it was new because i remember it to have some kind of mouse aiming deadzone that made it hard to aim, and a bug that prevented me from finishing a certain level.
The first 'Disaster Report' on the PS2 was great. I played that way back in the early 2000s and that game definitely had me remember it for a long time. It wasn't action packed or anything but it was definitely a game worth checking out. The first XIII game on the PS2 was actually pretty good. Idk want happened with the remake...
Can't believe how many of these I've played: Tamarin, Dawn of Fear (not that bad), F&F C, which had a story mode I though wasn't bad, but the online mp was awful and you couldn't even play through multiple matches because of glitches which forced shutting down the game. I also own Remothered: BP because I thought the first wasn't bad. Sad to hear it didn't fare well but will play through it regardless. Also, for XIII, they're releasing a fixed next gen version, after my copy kept crashing and faced frequent bugs. But one will need to pay to upgrade to the next gen version, so I'll avoid it entirely. As far as I'm concerned the devs should be ashamed.
If I was a boss at Nintendo, I’d have people play test all the games that want to get released on the eShop and turn down all the shovelware. I feel like the sheer abundance of shovelware on switch tarnishes it a bit. The console has some absolute gems but then has 200 mobile trash game for each good game
I can't believe you guys put 'Bounty Battle' in the intro but didn't feature it. That game was a fucking mess. I bought it off the back of featuring fish from Nuclear Throne and it was one of if not the worst game I've ever played. Mechanically shallow, creatively bankrupt (you have all the guns from Nuclear Throne and you have Fish use only the revolver, Shotgun and his guitar?!) and had so much slow-down that it is genuinely baffling with how little actually goes on on-screen. Plz re-evaluate and change your whole list for me, thank you.
A shame about Dawn of Fear. I love classic Resident Evil like games, so I was gonna give that a try, until I saw the price tag in the PS Store. This "quality" does not justify 16 £.
Not gonna lie, watching the little Tamarin thing run scratches the "Awwww! Wook at da wittle furry thing wun! So cute!" itch. Yeah. I'm a middle aged man that has that particular itch. Wanna fight? Yeah I didn't think so...
I remember a game that got badly reviewed, but in my opinion it didn’t deserve it....Driver 3. Been playing it a bit lately. I didn’t think it was that bad then & still don’t now
I am geninuely ashamed of Remothered's sequel, the first game is fantastic, the second one is far too edgy and Dark for its own good, it also lacks on the pursuer elements mostly because it gets interrupted a lot.
