Fact: *A lot of the deals that appear to go through on the show don't make it after the cameras stop rolling. The 'dirty laundry' comes out when they get to actually talking real details and it turns out the company pitching lied about numbers or didn't do something right, etc*

FATAL Z I hate that excuse. Being a business does not mean you have to be unethical or behave douchy. It's also not good for the brand in the long run. Yes, a video with more views = more money, but it also means annoyed customers who will not return to the next one.
This is how a top ten should be done. You spent just enough time on each company giving us the relevant information. Although the music didn't quite fit the video. It was much too sad.
Not investing in something is not a loss. If we defined "loss" like that, the definition would become meaningless, cause in such a case, every single person who hasn't invested in Bitcoin or Microsoft or anything else for that matter that wasn't as big as it is to begin with, would suffer a loss.

When you're an investor potential of an investment can make you or break you, many investors often miss chances at makes millions or even billions by simply not taking a deal, trust me the regret of not doing something is often just as biting as the regret of doing something and failing. Note: When I say this I'm only referring to investors and businesses, etc, not the average person.

The sharks commented on the that deal and said that they didnot know that the toy industry is so hard to be in because you only one day to sell if you donot you lose all of your money and they said they will never invest money in toys again

The people saying it’s not illegal...lol...yes it very much is. Investment isn’t a gamble and an “welp lol” if it doesn’t go well. People are required, by law because of a contract, to deliver specified goals by various times. If the company goes out of business, that’s one thing. But if the entrepreneur just takes off with the money, that’s breaching contract and is very illegal

I am a firefighter and while the idea of Hy-Conn is great, I think it should be known there is already quick-connect fittings that are commonly used.. we have 1,000ft of 5” hose on our engine that is quick connect, only a separate 50ft is not

Because it started out great, then it tanked. Ironically, when I first watched I said that I wouldn't have invested because of liability with kids or college students trying to see how high they could get their blood alcohol level too. I also would never have believed it was 100% accurate. Not even the handheld police breathalyzers do that, smdh.

It's funny because I knew most of these deals wouldn't work, but Sharks are always looking at being cutting edge... which sometimes works, and pays off huge. I look at stuff being practical with premium value possibilities.
Toygaroo sounds like an idea from someone who has no experience with kids. Most parents wouldn’t “rent” toys given how often kids break and lose toys. Toys are also memories and learning objects. It would be hard to treat toys like a subscription service when kids themselves don’t work that way

About six years ago some people went on shark tank with a drink called Chill. It was advertised as a healthy soda. As someone who loves fizz but doesn’t want all of the unhealthiness of soda, it sounds like a dream come true. The deal was excepted, and now six years later it is nowhere to be found. I’m really wondering what happened to that, I think it was a very smart idea and really wish it actually materialized, as I am sure many others do too
It has uses in residential settings. Garden hoses and such. The broad consumer market would be more profitable than a niche market due to larger scale.

Mark Cuban was so inspired by the product that he invested $1.25 million into the company and a three-year employment deal. The deal, however, fell through, and the reason behind it sounds personal. The company’s founder, Jeff Stroope, announced on Facebook that the investor’s “ego” affected the negotiations and that “Mark Cuban started changing the deal.” What drove a wedge between the two parties was the licensing of the design. The company itself is not a failure. There is a professional version of the product along with a home edition. The business is still running and Hy-Conn has been shipping the product. According to The Huffington Post, the company was worth $5 million in 2015.

Surprised the massive fiasco that was Tom & Chee didn’t make it on here. I remember when they showed up in Louisville; we tried them out, and we learned that the sandwiches were mediocre, the soup was downright awful, and the entire affair was grossly overpriced. Apparently, the public agreed, since both locations disappeared as quickly as they came. From what I gather, they’ve pretty much been beaten back to Cincinnati, where they started, and is far from the transnational franchise they envisioned.
I mean these seem like bad deals but with the amount of money these sharks make a second these loses are nothing compared to the few deals that make them money
The toy renting thing was a terrible idea. What’s The parents supposed to do when they rent a toy and give it to their kid and the child gets attached after a week or month and most likely even gives it a cute little name then you take it away then they cry about it and say that they missed their toy. I know when I was younger I got attached to a lot of my toys.and plenty other kids probably do too.also kids probably lick their toys and stick them into their mouth. 🤦🏻♀️

That Mark Cuban makes some of the dumbest deals. He bought out the whole company of two women who made tie stickers to put on shirts. He could have made his own and paid someone relatively little to make a new website. What's he going to do with this anyway? They also had someone promoting a glass to stick int he top of a wine bottle. This seems unsanitary. The shark tank bit on that too.
The word is “wary” not “weary”. Weary means to grow tired of something, wary means to be suspicious of. The government didn’t grow tired of the product that they investigated.

if they took money out of the business, it's theft from the business which is a crime if the other partial owners did not aprove of the money's use as an owner you can't take money out of a business if there are other owners unless everyone agrees on it

I'm from South Dakota. I've never heard of this "Hill Billy" brand. Maybe that's part of their problem. They went to a show like shark tank watched by people who live in cities and run by people who live the corporate lifestyle. Then they tried to market them a "country living" clothing company. Maybe they should have marketed the "country living" clothing to their market rather than to a marker that has zero interest.
