@@romanplays1 that tie in was really sad, Hulk's rampage against the X-Men stopped when he was shown how many mutants died after House of M and realized there was nothing he could do to Charles since he was "already living in hell"
In marvel zombies he does turn back into bruce. After they eat magneto he turns back into banner and his stomach swells from eating so much of magneto that they cant get away with saying they didnt eat him.
@@theunknown7441 Yeah but sometimes they send him off for no reasons like they sent him off because he destroyed a city in a rage because his “friend” that killed his wife.
I really hope we're not stuck with Professor Hulk for the long term in the MCU. It's a nice idea but I like the Hulk when he's massive, raging and nye on impossible to stop.
*nigh And I think it would be boring for most audiences if Hulk stuck only to "Hulk smash" every movie. "What did Spider-Man do?" "Oh, he used his webs to tie a building together so it didnt collapse." "How about Doctor Strange?" "Oh, he used his magic to create this awesome illusion that confused the villains into fighting each other!" "How about Hulk?" "...he punched stuff."
I mean, what if they combine both Kinda like what they did with Planet Hulk/World War Hulk. He keeps his strength and temper, but also gains Banner’s intelligence.
@@alecdickens1042 there is ridiculous amounts of depth to the hulk as a character, most of which is lost if banner is the only personality that is focused on.
Honestly just having Brian banner as a father is the worst thing that happened to hulk especially how Brian affected Bruce and he the reason all the hulks are around, especially how he affected them in the current events in immortal hulk.
@@KakashHatak3 The scene shown in the video doesn't actually happen. It's a dream or something in a Silver Surfer tie-in. Hulk actually got shrunk down and sent back to Earth. Another example of the great research by WhatCulture...
You know, you'd think that Dr. Strange would have a spell that would send the Hulk to a special dimension that's basically his own personal Rage Room, where he can smash all he wants until he calms down
If you are going to include alternate reality versions of the Hulk then how could you leave out Ultimate Hulk who was getting cucked by Betty to the point that the Hulk is yelling that he's the horniest one there is.
@@majordonut4022 The Ultimate Universe was really fucked up. The Hulk was also a cannibal. Hell, the Wasp was eaten by the Blob. Hank got his revenge by becoming Giant Man and then biting the Blob's head off.
Number 10 and 9 on the list are ridiculous thinking back on them as the Hulk's regeneration abilities are around Deadpool and Wolverine's level so crushing the Hulk's neck or even chopping off Bruce's would still not kill him. (And I do mean way before Immortal Hulk.)
dude doctor strange straight up great friend and badass "but all your precious artifacts---" "they are the least i can offer him val after all hes my friend" love strange
1. Immortal Hulk 2. Planet Hulk 3. World War Hulk and sequel 4. The End 5. Indestructible Hulk 6. Future Imperfect My Favorite Best Hulk storylines ever epic
I'm trying to figure that out too. I'm not seeing any publication history where Shazam belonged to Marvel, and of course Hulk never belonged to DC (or Shazam's original owners at Fawcett).
@@cjcoughlin6056 Yes, Jarella dies in #205. But the page shown with the reference to Shazam is actually from Hulk #140, which was published June 1971, so before DC bought Fawcett.
@@diamondeyes4430 It is. Pretty much just a reference that the Fawcett comic books existed in the Marvel universe, not the actual characters. It's like anytime a comic references Star Wars/Darth Vader, and they're just talking about a character in a movie they saw. The reference to Billy Batson is nothing more than a reference to a character in a comic book they once read.
idea: 10 superpower that spiderman secretly have like: breathing in space in avengers infinity war spiderman was able to breathe on planet titan when fight thanos
Don't know if the gauntlet killed hulk cause he had his neck crushed before and still walked around like when fighting mastero but it still is definitely a terrible event for hulk nevertheless.
The "Immortal Hulk" storyline is gore but very dumb. The Hulk is a sort of demon. Doc Samson and Sasquash swap their bodies. Betty Banner become a red harpy monster. Rich Jones become gamma living dead... 😬
As a Deadpool fan, I disagree with #9. Sorry, but Deadpool killed Banner, not the Hulk; context is real and it's important. Kinda like how destroying a tank and killing a tank operator are two different things but both result in the tank being rendered useless nonetheless I can't claim I destroyed a tank by stabbing the guy inside it.
@@SkittleXero they took away his real strength as well.. first Avengers movie, he was fine.. second Avengers movie, he was made redundant. Ragnarok rolled around and he was The Incredible Sulk.
They were mostly using the Marvel Ultimate Universe for the MCU as well which makes it worse. The Ultimate Universe Hulk is way more vicious and violent then 616 Hulk is. The Age of Ultron Hulk when he fought Tony was as close as they got. For the most part it's what would be better story telling and also allows us to make another movie just to make more money. Thanos shows up, Hulk jumps into the fight then Hulk gets destroyed and beaten. Making Thanos more of a dangerous threat. Or Hulk jumps in, bitch slaps Thanos then credits roll.
What the.... They probably downplayed it because one: It would take a LOT of time to go into that, instead of a few seconds to a minute. And on top of that, they want to leave their viewers with a bit of shock and awe, with possibly some interest to go read the comics themselves. But I guess leaving stupid comments like that is normal to you. I'd hate to be your child.
The entirety of what bruce endured is waaaay to heavy for a channel like this. It's just mentioning it and leaving issue numbers for people to read themselves. The fact he didn't dive to deep into it and skimmed the surface could also be he or they ar it comfortable delving into that rabbit hole
