This seems like yesterday I remember where I was inside a church when my niece showed me his body laying in the streets on a Saturday. There was a feeling in the air that this killing was different.

Girl!!! It was!!! I can relate to this comment!!! IN worked and lived at Canfield Green years prior to this happening. So, when I saw it, I was crushed like I knew him! This situation hit me differently from any other. I'm still sitting here crying TO-DAY!!!!

How can the energy not linger when there is no justice? A young man's life is unnecessarily taken and NO ONE is held responsible. How can there be healing??? Closure? HOW???

The 6'4" 300lbs thug got justice. Ballistics show Brown had his head down and was charging the officer. He just turned 18 and had a long juvenile record that's officially sealed.

No justice because he attacked a cop after stealing from a store? I'm not sympathizing for someone who got caught committing a crime.

Lest we forget the suspect Brown attempted to take the officers' gun after jumping into the patrol units drivers side window. The evidence proved it as well as witness testimony corroborated it. Even the DOJ and FBI investigation stated the officer was justified in shooting Brown. Michael Brown served his entire community a disservice and an utter disgrace And he should be known for being a criminal thug he was.

Did we see different storylines because I saw him go in that store, commit a crime AGGRESSIVELY and then REACH INto the cops vehicle all because the cop told him get out the street. I am more concerned about what led to his behavior. Why was he so mad? Was it video games? Grand theft auto? Rap music? I have a son who had gotten triggered it the past and I notice his behavior changes when he's tapped into the rap and he cannot even play grand theft at my house. I dint think he was a bad person but his bad choices is what led to this. Our teens have to be held accountable so they don't end up in situations like this..

I'm not understanding the justice part. I saw him go in that store, commit a crime AGGRESSIVELY and then REACH INto the cops vehicle all because the cop told him get out the street. Now the cop not even knowing about the store incident is valuable, however, in a heated moment in not sure I wouldn't have done the same thing and I'm a brown woman. I am more concerned about what LED to his behavior. Why was he so mad? Was it video games? Grand theft auto? Rap music? The black community and therapy ain't the same!!! We should acknowledge that!! Living in a day and age where we are faced with Michael Brown and so many others who have met similar injustices; then trying to maneuver these lives that are packed with our own personal traumas, therapy is a must!!!

I truly feel for his (family) However given the circumstances.. he knows his son was no saint & brought this on himself. Don’t follow in this young man’s mentality or footsteps. Might not end well . (No matter the color of your skin)

It was already proved by a caucasian that he did not steal or rob from that store. Even the store owner told detectives it was another male not Mike Brown! The caucasian media created an image of a 'criminal' but he did not fit the narrative of a felon.
