Everyone complaining in the comments about how her form was off in her beam routine is really starting to piss me off. Yes, it wasn't her best event but why can't people point out how amazing her other events were? She's 10 and competing level 9 for christ sake, that's a big effort and amazing that she's up at that level at her age. It's so much easier to be nice instead of going out of your way to say nasty things.
Also, her beam routine, not as good as everything else. Straighten those legs on the back handspring step out to back layout step out!! Her bar routine deserved higher than 8.700!
I agree. I think this year we will see a huge improvement in her handstands, and everything for that matter. She is now training at the same gym Gabby Douglas finished training in, and the coaches are fantastic
Good lord people, she has only been competing at this level for half a season. Of course she has plenty of work to do, but plenty of time to work on it. Everyone else can see what you see, so be critical in your head. She is only 10
Gymnastics was my life. I had a bright future. I quit though because it was not fun anymore. I burned out. I am back in the gym now and I am happier than I have ever been. My point is please don't quite.
i quit two years ago and i recently started watching gymnastics videos on youtube, and it’s kind of motivated me and i lowkey want to go back but idk if i should cause i absolutely hate beam
I quit for a year (I’m on my grandparents account so...yea lol) and I just went back last year and then I tried out for team and made it. and last weekend I got my first 9 at state on beam
I quit gymnastics when I was 13 because it was ‘too hard’ and I was only in level 3/4 she’s ten and already almost at the top standards. I don’t think people realize how much hardwork, blood, tears, sweat, pain and dedication it takes to be at that level.
I 1st saw the video of her as a level 4, and this is the result of hard work. Ava is so beautiful inside and out and now inspires people just because she never gave up, keep up the good work. Also, don't forget to have fun!
she is amazing!!! definitely a true hardworking gymnast. just a tip which I'm sure she's working in but it will improve her beam score so much if she really focuses on it- keep your legs straight in her beam series!!
I love that people still watch this and comment. Yes, she is 18 and has been at level 10 for the last 7 years. She will be competing for Central Michigan next year in college and still loves the sport.
This video is so good! It Proves That You can be good, And it's Possible Being a young Age and still being Able do do all this stunts. It's Really Good. She's Such a Good gymnast, This inspiration Is Such a great Helper. I'm A gymnast. This proves I'm capable of doing anything. I'm going to try new things like This strong Girl. I'm so Happy For her. I hope She will make it into the Olympics!! Keep up the good work! Thank you for this inspiration!!
Thank you for the kind words! I am now a senior in high school and signed on a full athletic scholarship for gymnastics at Central Michigan University.
Oh my gosh you guys Zanesville gymnastics is litterly the best gymnastics place ever I miss that place so much and she did amazing because the coaches there are amazing and they don't force you to do things there and they compete at a higher level then other places
#Repost @gymaudios with @repostapp. ・・・ ~ as promised😁 - ive been posting once every day lately so go check out my last couple posts if you haven't seen them already✌🏼️ - this kinda doesn't go with my theme but im too lazy to change it so like #dealwithit - really good song coming tomorrow tho😍🎧
Please stop commenting on her beam routine :/ She is so good at her age and will contain to excel as time passes. She is doing amazing. Level 9 at that age is incredible. I hope to see her in the Olympics some day :) ❤️
Ava will be a freshman in college next year at Central Michigan and will compete for them. She started at 6 years old and at that time I believe she was in the gym 3 days a week at level 4.
yeah, it doesn’t matter about age. how do you think pros like Simone Biles get so good in their teens? as soon as they are ready, they get moved up so they can work on skills at whatever level they are at. :) i’m only a level three but i am thirteen, it really doesn’t matter. depends on when you start too. i didn’t start until i was eleven
It kinda makes me sad that gymnasts are getting younger and younger not being able to experience their childhood I get it I was level 8 I believe wen I stopped n I was 12 but went to the gym 5 days a week for lik 3-5 hours everyday I loved it with every fiber in my being but their jus too young hVe a lil bit of a childhood….tho it is cool being able to do layouts n shit thru my 20’s….ps you killed it girlie!!!!
Why are the team mates so close to the gymnast while they are competing??? That’s crazy!! Are these gyms just so small? No one was ever this close when I competed…but im old 😂
