As much as I hate Disney, you cannot blame them for Doctor Who. That's 100% on BBC. They still own the IP. Disney just gets to publish it on Disney+ and have no input into it of note. The whole show was going down the tubes from the moment Capaldi left the show and that Cos-play female pretending to be the Doctor showed up. Hate on Disney, please... but also put hate where it's due: on the BBC, who are just as bad.

Refusing to let the Jedi order get involved in the war until the civilian death toll was high enough, rather than entering the war early on and preventing a lot of them. His LotF tactic of helping start the 2nd Galactic Civil War, then switching sides halfway through it is just the logical progression of his NJO form.

To clarify, Kreia says that Revan, “it was like looking into the heart of the Force.” And then describes Meetra as more of a void, a blank spot. Kreia called meetra the greatest because of how she lined up with Kreia’s belief on strength, not raw power. Revan is stronger, but Meetraks existence as a “wound in the force” is unique and something Kreia is interested in

Mortis Anakin is peak for sure. And the Prophecy of the Chosen One is always misread by the Jedi. They read it right by saying he will bring Balance to the Force, but then they misinterpret Balance. To THEM, Balance means the destruction of the Sith, however, Anakin did bring Balance. The Jedi were stagnant and spread out across the Galaxy and the Sith were condensed into 2 beings. By breaking both Orders he spreads the Force evenly in a Balanced State.

@@Jaden_The_Celestial the difference is a good attentive moment like that, versus everything else thst crops up seems to be sloppy. For every Andor or High point you can spot, you get Acolyte, Ahsoka, or Book of Boba, or Kenobi popping up and having fans wondering what the heck is happening to the setting they liked so much. It just is disappointing when certain things crop up and it feels like a joke. For example ,Kenobi, I heard the original trilogy premises for the movie idea, it sounded fire but nobody bit, abd then Solo failed to make a good splash so they canned them and made that show.

@@1faithchick7 No, Rebels was the first show made after Disney bought Lucasfilm, it was just done by Dave Filoni & co who made TCW under direction from George Lucas. There are also a lot of good canon novels, and not all of the canon comics are horrible, it's just the live action and "High Republic" stuff they keep mucking over. And good games like the Cal Kestis Jedi series are also canon under Disney. And let's not forget the later parts of the post-OT Legends was absolute crap years and years before Disney entered the picture. It's just that the 20-30 ABY timeperiod is cursed regardless of what continuity touches it, Legends or Canon.

Nah, this guy who did the scaling for this is one of those tools that think the sequel comics that almost nobody read are the most powerful characters in the franchise. Literally ignores stuff like Naga Sadow's star busting feats, and Vitiate's nigh-galaxy busting feat. There were 200 total hero to survive the initial purge and about a z Dozen survived past ROTJ. Which makes sense there would be no point in an imperial inquisition if there were no Jedi to hunt and the idea that every member.of the order died at once when they vary in power level skill location and circumstances is contrived and retarded.

You should look into Obi-wan’s life, he’s a fascinating character. One of the coolest things is how he completely changed his lightsaber form after Qui-gon died. He originally studied his master’s form, Form IV Ataru, which uses a lot of flashy acrobatics and dodges but Maul used that to his advantage. Obi-wan observed that weakness and completely switched to Form III Soresu. It’s known as the defensive form or resiliency form and is the most effective against blasters, a large number of opponents and aggressive lightsaber forms. This change made him an effective fighter against droids, large armies and Sith, notably the 3 main enemy types in the war.

This. He has a hard time understanding Obi-Wan's significance to the story because he doesn't have all the insane fantastical feats as many of the other figures in the lore but he was up there with the rest by the end of the Clone Wars and only grew more powerful in the Force with age even if his body couldn't keep up with him during his final encounter with Vader. I also think he should do a deep dive into Dooku's life.

Fun fact: When Obi-Wan said he had the high ground, he was actually just taunting Anakin to jump over him. In sword fighting (or with lightsabers) being higher up is more dangerous because your lower half is more exposed, which is harder to defend than your upper body, giving Obi the clear disadvantage. When Obi said that he had the high ground, it goes backs to Obi’s fight with Maul, where Maul was above Obi and he jumped over Maul before cutting him in half. Anakin would know this story as Obi’s padawan, being told stories of his adventures and his master, Qui-Gon.

The thing with Meetra is that she doesn't fit a simple Dragon Ball-like power level scaling, her powers are much more nuanced and complex than just "who's mightier" like this list tries to quantify. Think less Harry Potter space magic and more LotR space magic.

Scaling Ahsoka above Revan is such a joke. Kreia explains to Meetra in KOTOR 2 that Revan quickly mastered everything he learned, and that being in his presence was like being in a maelstrom of the force. She said "Revan was power." Ahsoka has never been compared to the force in that way.

@@jestapath7373 Seth also didn't mention Revan Reborn, when he got his mask back and in turn all his memories, was still a Jedi. He was able to absorb force lightning from a centuries old Sith Lord and redirect it back at her, turning her to ash. Ahsoka has no feat like that at all.

meetra surik is actually insanely broken. she has the most overpowered force bonding ability of any jedi ever, she passively bonds with every single person she meets, plus is a walking force "black hole" essentially. her force bond is so powerful, that revan feared she would be able to turn his own army against him and intentionally sent her to die on malachor v.

Have I ever told you the story of Nuxanor the curious? It’s not a story Disney would want you to hear. You see Nuxanor was a based RU-vid commentator who grew curious about the Star Wars Lore. He would then upload videos of himself reacting and listening to what has occurred over the past years in the Star Wars Universe that would influence others to follow suit and make the Star Wars community grow and Disney profit by doing so. Disney was very powerful at this time, but they were afraid of losing that power due to Critics as well as fans turning their back over the corruption of their beloved franchise. Their only choice was to implement Copyright strikes onto those who wish to react and give their opinions. Ironic isn’t it, Disney wanted to get more fans into Star Wars, but instead erased the fans they already had.

The prophecy of the Chosen One is believed to be an opposite to the Sith'ari, so Anakin killing Sidious and ending Darth Bane's order accomplished this because all other Sith after that weren't considered part of Bane's lineage. And even when Sidious came back, he pretty much gave up all Sith philosopy and became a mere dark sider, he even refered to himself as Palpatine, not Sidious, until his final death.

One thing about Vader, is that after getting his limbs replaced with robotic implants, he thinks he is weaker than he should be, and that he lost midiclorians, but he could be a lot stronger than he is if he realized it doesn't mater.... he could be the most powerful Sith in history, if he just realized that him loosing his limbs, doesn't make his connection with the force weaker, because what was stopping him, for the most part, was that mindset, and from the other part, Sidious, who actively sabotaged Vather in every way possible, a suit who was weak to lighting, and that was inefficient and heavy AF... YOU NEED TO SEE SOME OF THE VATHER COMICS, AND SOME OF THE WHAT IF'S!!!

The author of the video made a critical mistake The 3D series "CW" does not belong to the legends, it is a new canon. Even when he appeared, he violently contradicted stories from books and comics.

No he’s not wrong, the 3D clone wars is part of legends up until season 6, he mentions the contradictions and issues with the comics vs 2D vs 3D stuff for clone wars and he goes with what is most consistent overall or how to make it work together, pay attention dumbass.

Lucas himself said that he doesn't care about "EU" because there is a lot of content and he just can't keep track of everything, as well as about the canon in the world of star wars that comes out beyond the movies. He himself said that people should think of the works in Star Wars as a web and not a line on which all the works are located. Just because Lucas was there doesn't make them legends.

Even if you don't plan to fully watch clone wars i highly recommend you watch some of the duels Darth maul vs pre viszla (my personal favorite) , ahsoka vs maul , sidius vs maul and savage , anakin vs baris , dooku vs 3 nigh sisters and darth vader vs ahsoka are all some of the best star wars content there is

Thank you! Seth's Star Wars scaling has a ton of problems. He even used as evidence a passage that contradicts him. Since it states that Bane's Rule of Two was meant to stop infighting and weak Sith ganging up on and killing the more powerful ones. It has nothing to do with the Force being more concentrated into a limited number of beings. Yoda's explanation for the Force is the exact opposite. It gains power from life. The Force is hypothetically almost infinite, most Force users struggle to tap into its true capabilities, thus the concept of Oneness, which is why someone like Galen can go beyond his limits and temporarily hold off Palpatine to allow the Rebels to escape, but would normally get bodied. Jedi at their peak become one with the will of the Force and channel its power. Sith on the other hand try to usurp and enslave it to their will, but end up being betrayed by the Dark Side and losing at some point. The Rule of Two is effective in destroying the Jedi and taking over the galaxy not because they super saiyan powered up, but because through secrecy they undermined the Jedi.

When you said TPM was the first movie you saw in theaters, I lit up. It was mine too. I was 5. I had previously watched the og trilogy on the VHS collection set haha. That's so cool tho I just had to write this. Star Wars has always been special. And as I'm now 30, I know that things change in time, even things we love to enjoy. Appreciate what you love, and pay no mind to the newer content if it's not to your liking. There's no need to give something your energy and drain what life you have left from an already fucked world lol.

Fun fact, the face and voice of Starkiller, Sam Witwer, also voices Maul in the Clone Wars and Rebels. He's also the only guy to "out-geek" Dave Filoni regarding Star Wars. On a different note, as much as I hate the way Disney handled Star Wars, they do have a few gems. Clone Wars season 7, all of Rebels, The Mandolorian Seasons 1 and 2, Rogue One, Andor, and the Star Wars: Jedi games.

To be fair to Yoda during the Sidious fight, I always felt like he had Sidious beat and was always confused why Yoda didn't go back up to fight him or use the force to throw another object at him/pull him down with the force. Like I feel like If I had one thing changed about Episode 3, i'd have the Coruscant Squad Clone troopers show up either right when Yoda is falling or have them show up prior to that and Yoda has to escape so it makes sense that he failed. Yoda was concentrating force lightning that was being shot into his hands and sending it back to his opponent (in the case of Count Dooku), and was able to use both hands at the same time to block his lightning.

The best way to talk about Rebels is that it is a sequal to Clone Wars Animated show, but had less budget, put on a different station to die, and still persisted with great stories in my opinion. Filoni can have his problems but he does so much better then anyone else with Star Wars Cannon on the disney paycheck.

14:03 the way I understood it, Jedi and Sith are just opposite extremes. The way they handle the force and their philosophies are polar opposites. Both of them are extremists so, although the Sith may seem as the most clearly destructive, so are the Jedi but in a less obvious way. I have not watched more than the movies but that was the general idea I got from the movies, specially the prequels.

I think a good way to look into Jedi vs. Sith Ideology would be to see it through the lens of Control vs. Passion. Jedi control themselves through meditation to understand the force and create some sort of balance and moderation, whereas the Sith free themselves from any kind of shackle, allowing the highest of highs and lowest of lows in terms of emotion.

In Legends lore Vader was nerfed in other ways aside from his armor being vulnerable to force lightning. Lumiya revealed this to Jacen that his cybernetics actually nerfed his abilities because machines aren't force sensitive. Only organics can have midichlorians and because he was missing a lot of organic tissue it nerfed that the amount of midichlorians he had. This is also how Vader is actually weaker than Palpatine. Who himself is a weaker sith. Palpatine actually violated the Rule of Two when he killed his master. Bane's theology depended upon open combat between master/apprentice. Only in combat can a apprentice prove himself stronger. Sideous knew he couldn't beat Plaeguous.
