It actually depends on the rate of viewers/clicks growth, so even if the video did extremely bad with 100k views and 80k dislike, as long as a million people instantly clicked on it because they find the title interesting, then it’ll become trending. Note that 1 million clicks doesn’t immediately translate to 1 million views, because of the requirements to even gain a single view, why RU-vid did that? Because bots, RU-vidrs LOVE exploiting auto-view bots, for them sweet thick juicy algorithm’s recommendation
