100 Girlfriends Forever - Season 1 Review 

Thank you! (And yes, that was one of the chapters I was thinking of when talking about how weird season 2 can get ;) legitimately one of my favorite of the series)

It was definitely a plot device to explain how he has so many but yeah, the risk of death to them isn't as relevant past the first set when you keep up with the series and it's rarely mentioned later on. And thank you! I've got a lot more videos planned for 2024 and reviewing seasonal anime is what I have so much fun doing too, this Winter season is looking great!

@@Sauxeaholic if that’s the case there will be little to no breathing room with the insanity for season 3 if the loli with a capital i gets introduced in season 2 with a 6 six girlfriend per season structure that mean season 3 can end on a positive note with best gal (they all best girls but there’s only one gal) as a cleanser after the japo yanke, the author ain’t b***h about hight, komi san’s mistake done correct/right, the druggie loli’s loli hag, and the infantilist swordswoman, do you really want season 4 with human squidbaby rather than the folkish nothing slinger there needs to be a good transition and build up like a bomb, season 2 areal has a slightly volatile fuse with the one who gluttony incarnated from, maid incarnate, Uber darkness, the beautifully lonely narcissist, and the shyness ninja and I don’t think cheeky chest jealousy makes for that big of a payload, chiyo has to be final girlfriend of season 2 it makes sense considering the other girlfriends after her.

I hope they made her a more distant relative or age her up a bit, but oh well...

as much as I like incestkino, I just don't think ending with Chiyo would be satisfying, as she takes the longest out of all girlfriends to become loveable. I'd rather introduce her at the start of Season 3. All things considered CH54 (Cancellation of Rooftop Activities) is probably not that bad of an ending point, but ending with CH50 (Tsundere Lost) could be better pacing-wise

What is Unus Annus?

I mentioned it because there were several Unus Annus videos that involved pee, which I assumed that you knew about because you used a clip from the channel, but you didn’t so the joke fell flat.

Honestly, I have no idea who to guess for the VAs, I don't know too much about enough VAs to really guess, but I see people discuss it on reddit from time to time. For what it's worth I think they did an excellent job so far with the casting!

@@actionfirst And some girls have other voice actors described as "voice drama" if you check their profile. This is something I have seen for the first time.

Tsundere Lost arc doesn't really seem like a fitting climax to make a season finale in my opinion. 12th girlfriend may be the season finale as well.

Tbh, when I saw a teaser of Hahari in the begging of the 9th ep I genuenly thought she was Hakari's sister

My guess is Rentarou will animate a new scene or something, there's a lot of ideas that can be done with that scene

​​@@actionfirstMy imagination is Rentarou using Vergil's Judgement Cut End move while Bury The Light plays in the background. Because Rentarou is such a *CHAD* to the point I start to see him like Sung Jin Woo from Solo Leveling for some reason.

I don't speak Japanese 😭 plus having a slight lisp doesn't help I've been trying to get better on that and make them sound as close as I hear them in the show too, it just takes practice
