Before watching full video: Just a SMALL detail about the episode - I would have prefer if they ended the episode with the zing as the cliffhanger. I noticed some people dissapointed with the attitude of the mom right after the zing. Edited: It could be both ways ( I get that what happened also could be a great cliffhanger - but I still prefer the way manga did it)

I accidentally spoiled myself while looking through the wikipedia lol but I didn't know if she would be her mom, or older sister haha and as Kusuri mentioned blindness being a side effect of the drug, I guessed that's what they were going for lol her reaction tho! PERFECTION!

regarding san and sama, those are both honorifics usually you would call your own mother haha, and someone elses 'person' no okaasan, the san adds respect and formality just like name-san. but sama is a superlative, not a common used honorific supposed to address someone superior to you. as far as I know in real life it would sound goofy or ackward(unless in specific situations) but in anime is used to express someone being great, respected or just in a position of power.
