I think Leon should have been nerfed differently It should have been: I takes one second for Leon to shoot after he becomes visible to everyone And maybe a small dps nerf

Or, everytime he enters a 4 tile radius arnd a brawler(any number will do) an exclaimation mark will briefly appear on yr head. If he exits the 4 tile radius there will be another exclaimation mark (different colour? Idk)

Why did they get rid of practises? I always went on practises to grind gold (from keys - now tokens), and not worry about losing trophies :’(

Well, I kinda understand you since I used to use practice for gold as well, but trust me, when you get more experienced and higher in trophies, you would almost never use practice. It’s a lot more fun to play ranked than against bots when you know what you’re doing. Also, it will help if you had a active friend’s list, as then you can organise your team and have a better chance of winning, lowering the risk of ranked and need of practice.

Leonard Chung: I think I am pretty experienced, as I have been playing since day one, & by higher in trophies, are you referring to 10k? As I just unlocked Leon and im nearly 8k, so I think my trophy count is pretty high :) But the main problem in ranked is tilting, because matchmaking is never in my favour, (My 400 brawlers get matched up with 100’s) and & people in my club/friends list aren’t that active, however I understand where you are coming from ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Thanks?

#honestreview so um, visually i do like this update, i think 3D maps are really nice but, lags still exists... like, there should be like another update to maximize performance or just to change graphical settings or sth, i miss the practice mode when u could have fun without losing trophies and collect keys if for example u r busy and u dont wanna play ladder. U were right about chat page etc, oh well. I think its a cool update but sometimes the game is really unplayable, if they would fix all those bugs and make game run smoother on many devices (or just graphic settings) im sure ill give this update clear 10/10 )/

1ts2EZ in the old practice mode we were able to collect keys. I usually play practice when I have horrible internet. But now I'm forced to play live matches with my horrible internet just to collect keys.

Kairos, you brilliant man! I love how we don't even have to discuss the pros and cons of the newest update to be on the same page :) I agree with absolutely everything you discussed. Part of me will always miss the nostalgic simplicity of the old aesthetic, but I'm really warming up to the new update! With a few tweaks to the social aspect, brawl ball, and the intuitiveness of the U.I., I'm confident that new players will come to love the game just as much as we have!

#honestreview KT, you hit the nail on the head talking about how important the social dynamics are. I’m a little concerned with how new players will receive it, the UI communication is not intuitive and texting feels cramped. Mobile has been lacking a social game that is competitive and fun for a long time. I’m hoping that Supercell can be the first to see mass adoption similar to Fortnite. Wish list for future updates: 1. Allow future “clubs” to have the option to reduce the player size to 50. 100 seems a bit overwhelming when starting a band. You could change the ranking metric to list trophy count x2 if they are at 50. 2. Competitive playlist which removes auto-aim, and introduce a toggle option in friendly games. Would be awesome and likely bring back a lot of competitive players that stopped playing. 3. End game improvements: Lift the 50% reduction after season. Reset everyone’s max Brawlers to 500. From 500-600, +3 -6; 600-700, +2 - 6; 700, +1 -4 (with a 5% reduction after each season on brawlers over 700). Reset seasons monthly. 4. Integrate voice communication option into the game so that new players don’t need to use discord 5. Focus game profitability on making skins 6. Introduce social quests that promote interaction with other players. Unlockable skins is an idea for a reward -Elon Musk (formerly known as Dawg Tooth)

Hey Kairos, amazing video! I completely agree with all your points especially the chats. Where it is right now, it's so out of place and makes me so unmotivated to chat. Unlike before and how they dedicated a whole and simple tab for bands, now it doesn't give me the feeling that I am even in a band/family and I rarely talk because of how out of place it is. Also for the competitive scene, I agree with your brawl ball points, but there is still a really big problem for the game to be good for esports. Auto Aim. With auto aim as of now, makes the game so spammy. There are so too many instances times where auto aim is just simply better than aiming. Especially now with Leon, auto aim for him works so well. A long time ago, I heard that is was getting a nerf before but it never happened. With an auto aim nerf, skill with aiming would become apparent again, especially with tanks and juking would be implemented into the game again making it more competitive. It would give more depth to the game and drive people to become seriously good with a brawler. Thanks, just some of my opinions.

Maybe supercell can put social, shop and brawlers above the brawl boxes, than make your teammates smaller and put them in the left nect to each other, and then put the game room chat on the right

#honestreview at first i didnt really like how when the respawn countdown is at 2 seconds the screen immediately goes back to the place where you're going to respawn and then u cant see whatever is happening elsewhere which is very different from the previous time. i also agree with you about the teams issues, i loved the old way and i really hope supercell would do something about it

One QOL update they should add is that team mates can see the maps selection page even if they are not the leader. This allows non pro players to check the map. (They will not be able to pick the map of cause). Another thing is the daily free item in the shop SUCKS. 3 ticket is far from a brawl box. Also add more skins and brawlers! (Why not)

I don’t really have much to say about this review besides that I agree with most of the things you said. Although for Leon, I would have nerfed him where his projectiles don’t increase in damage when he attacks a brawler closely. That does remove a unique mechanic from him, but he will still do more damage at close range because of how he attacks which is similar to Bo.

What is your opinion on Supercell changing the free daily Brawl Boxes? I feel like they are worried about the game economy and how progression works, and are trying to slow that down. The problem is that this also makes legendary drops even rarer than they already are. (You of all people should know, after opening 500 boxes and not getting Leon). I think a good solution would be to increase legendary drop rates, AND ALSO increase the amount of power points needed to level up each brawler, so that progression takes longer.

you should spawn at the side of the ball if the ball is on your half of the map and on the other side of the ball if the ball is in the enemy's half of the map. its buff to defense but at least is predictable. also there one thing you didn't talk about and they need to fix, your profile, if they are not changing it at least make it so if you press the left side of the button go straight to the profile and if you press the right side of the button it shows you your next trophies goal

i wish you can do more as a band for example Brawl Wars when you compete in special battles against other bands or Brawl Chest you are grinding keys to get a bigger chest. What do you think about it??

#honestreview Completely agree with you in most but brawl ball, maybe what they need to do is implement a kinda wall (invisible that's why it's kinda) that only stops the ball right when it's about to pass the goal line (as so is the real life football, but instead of having the ball run out of it, it bounces) (that way theres no cornering if you wanna call it that way still) and the respawn is the same taking the same time as they always had, bc that implement a punishment so people will need not to die in other to led the team to win (is kinda like a red card in football or soccer)

I still experience lag from the 3D :( What I propose supercell should do is have a button that turns on and off the 3D because it looks really cool but some of us are getting negatively effected by it with lag

Crow should get a rework to fit his assasin role: 1: increase his damage from 392 to 560 (Max level) 2:Decrease the daggers he throws when he uses his super 3: increase reload speed from 1.5 seconds to 1.9 or 2.0 seconds. This causes him to have more burst damage, but the same dps, so he fits in his assasin role Tbh supercell should really think about these types of buffs/nerfs, to increase or decrease someones burst damage. For example Leon, he should shoot 3 blades instead of 4, BUT, decrease his reload speed by 0.2 or 0.3 seconds. His ability to kill everyone in the game with his super is just broken, his burst damage is just too high.

What do you think of team forming? I think the biggest problem right now is being limited to friends and clubs. I often struggle to find teammates because I'm limited to the 20-30 people on my lists that are online. We should have access to potentially anyone who is online and also looking for good teammates. Clubs and friends are so arbitrary. Edit: I just got to that part of the video - I see you have the opposite problem as me lol. Look at it from a non-youtuber perspective.

practice mode was a great way to reset the key timer when you have 100 keys but have a horrible wifi, or dont want to risk losing trophies bc you suck... especially when the showdown map is sth like island invasion

That nerf was so stupid.. they should've added a delay when he starts using his super (and if he uses his super in the bush he should be visible while that delay is taking place) and when we tries to attack someone while in his invisibility form he should also get a delay before he can attack and again make him visible while that is taking place.

Hey kairos: first, I think that now Leon is no more a Legendary brawler (with the last huge nerf); second, I hate the fact that now I have to invite my friends one by one, but the problem is that sometimes they cant or they dont want, so sometime I spend 10 mins inviting them one by one .. OMG where is the ''invite all'' or something like that ? Im a high trophy player and have 200 friends.

I hate the leon change, he definitely needed a nerf, like damage, or super charge speed lowered, but they way they nerfed him makes him less fun, you never want to nerf in a way were the brawler looses their uniqueness, now he is less fun to play. You used to be able to sneak up onto people and spin, or position yourself to do more damage, or if you defeat the gem carrier you can just walk by everyone and get to your side. I would have loved to see another nerf besides this, even if it would have made him under powered.

The huge upset for the update is the removing of practice mode, which was the mode that play with bots and able to get blue keys. Now i cant maximize the blue keys everyday because i cant access to strong networks everytime. #bringbackpracticebutton

Kairos i still pretty laggy when playing.. can you suggest to Supercell a low graphics option? Or a 2D option.. Something that bring back my fps.. Love from Portugal 🇵 🇹🇵🇹

I like the new UI and I am one of the only people who is ok with the club chat the one thing I HATE though is Barleys remake because I hate how robotic and stiff his movements are, and yes I get he’s a robot but he was fine as he was and I miss him 😢
