i have one big issue with "find a team" and that is that everytime i search for a team, I either get kicked or the other person leaves the team for 0 reasons (leaves before we play a match) im sitting between 15 and 16k trophies with a couple of starpowers and don't get a chance also, the other people never change brawlers if asked they'd rather leave aswell

The "look for a team" is awesome and I fully agree on what you said. I kinda understand why it took so long due to high trophy ranges.

I agree with your suggestions on the search teammate feature It has been so many times when I get 1 member and I search for another member only to realise the first member left. Also the chat really needs the normal chat feature or a lot more emotes. it has been so many times when I want to tell them that wait a minute, or sorry for the match, or i was lagging so yeah. But with Normal chat feature I feel like I will have a lot of toxic teammates and be matched with people speaking different languages.

As an entirely F2P player, I am glad that there is no “pay for 1 more try!” Option- not just because it would be an unfair disadvantage to me personally, but also because it validates the hard work, skill, and strategy that pro players make in the further matches.

i HIGHLY recommend the find a team feature for robo rumble, i blew through hundreds of tickets getting max time each match

My new claim to fame: made a KairosTime Video! I got unreasonably nervous when I saw we paired up in some Power Play bounty on Canal Grande (I was the Rosa to your Bea). That extra pressure really makes you over-think everything... Got the wins though! Keep up the good work, big fan of your videos and I hope our Brawl Stars paths cross again in the near future!

In present plunder (or CTF if they make it permanent) there should be a way to reclaim your flag if it’s been taken and then dropped. I’ve played plenty of matches where my whole team is defending the dropped flag and then a primo or Rosa just walks straight into us, picks it up, and gets a capture and we can’t do anything.

Love all the transparency and honest topics you talked about! I can see the passion you have in the game and it’s encouraging! I think this is the best honest review for an update yet!

I agree with almost all of your points but one of my longtime suggestions is that maps need to be retroed! I am always so sad when such great maps are taken out (like feast or famine, which is arguably the most OG map) and they never bring them back. And maybe they are bringing them back (like cavern churn) but TOO slowly. I think every update should take out maps temporarily and replace them with old maps. I know they do this sometimes like with the old map outlaw camp and making it a heist map, but I just don't think this happens enough. Also bringing back bounty maps like excel would make mortis a bit better since he is trash right now.

I personally think the energy drink oozing out of Max’s mouth is a nice touch, reminds me of the Clash Royale Lumberjack.

I like the idea of having more phrases to chat with people which would improve the general experience for most players and I feel like they can do some things to prevent toxicity by making it so you can’t spam phrases

I think that brawl stars has a lot of things going on right now. Last october was Brawloween, a big update. Then, November was the 1st BS world championships, which was also a big thing. Then Brawlidays, another big thing that happened in December. I think that too much content and things were being added into the game for the past few months. I do love the updates and the things they are adding but it would be probably harder for the game to be fixed since more problems come along with the new stuff. I think for now that supercell needs to focus more on the problem fixing this time and add just a little bit of new content on the next update.

I loved that the Christmas skins came back! I was actually able to get santa mike, one of my favorite skins in the game, now that I've gotten my account almost maxed out (as a free to play). It was SO cool and I loved it SO much 😊

Kairos, i think the one thing that supercell ought to do is increase rewards in the game. I am a F2P player and have been playing brawl ever since carl was released (like jan or feb 2019) and i still don't have any legendary brawler. Plus its so hard to max out a brawler even when u unlock it. Either they should increase the pp that we get from a box or should provide better rewards on trophy road which they have literally ignored for a year now.

In Present Plunder, it shakes SO MUCH on my iPad, and it should be an event modifier. It makes it so hard to play and my controls for the attack and super attack don't work most of the time. I don't understand really why for Brawlidays why they did a pirate ship temporary/permanent (?) and pirate skins, but didn't do pirate music, compared to winter theme maps and skins. I'm a huge fan by the way and love the work you do!😀

Here are a few things that I was sad weren’t added in the update: 1. Club perks I mean we can take clash royale as an example and maybe add power point donations or club chest where club members would have to get a certain amount of wins in a specific game mode kinda like the support a creator challenge for the brawloween event. 2. Trophy road extension With the trophy inflation that happened earlier this year I think more and more people are reaching the end of trophy road. Being f2p I would like to see more gold as I have 21+ brawlers ready to upgrade. Also, you could add an exclusive skin to the end, a guaranteed brawler, I’m not sure but some kind of extension would be nice because there’s definitely a loss of motivation to keep playing after trophy road ends. 3. Some benefit to higher XP levels It would be nice to be rewarded for long term participation in the game, kinda like how in clash royale your XP level corresponds with tower strength. I’m not sure what these benefits would be right now, one idea could be a higher level increases new brawler chance, but that’s just an idea. The only thing motivating players to actually pay any attention to XP is the 20 token bonus for reaching a new level regardless of what level you reached and the few profile icons. Which leads me into the next point... 4. More profile icons The only thing exclusive about these are getting brawlers, which is luck, trophy count, and XP level, both of which are easily viewable on the profile page anyway. More customization and exclusiveness would be great, I think lex had an idea where certain skins come with additional profile icons like the line skins. I think challenges are ok with the one month entry because is for qualifiers, but there should be more through the month just for rewards and in that type of challenges you coul re-enter many times

this is my review of the update to start off, its great overall and thanks supercell for the hard work and the effort put into improving the game for us , i just think that theres some things that need tweaks and improvements such as present plunder: its a great mode i really love capture the flag idea and it totally fits the game's theme however theres a couple suggestions to make it better -make the tilting go from left , normal , right , normal , left. - the mode shouldnt be limited to just 2 goals i honestly think that most of people would enjoy it as to make it last the entire 2 mins and 30 regardless of how many times you score , that way we wouldnt feel as if its a brawl ball clone and it gives the mode a uniqueness feel to it. -the super shot is way too op, either nerf it or slightly make the map longer because in the current state it goes through half of the map as for max : - she needs a damage boost or 1 extra bullet per ammo, ive been using her and shes kinda weak compared to bea. - her icon......... as for bea: - shes slightly on the op side so i would suggest that they nerf the overcharged shot because currently it can 1 hit a tick, lol which is honestly satisfying because ticks are annoying but at the same time it feels weird to 1 shot a brawler with full hp. other than that bea is well balanced and unique. lastly my opinion on the championship is that its okay the way they made it because if they give each player more than a chance it would be way too f2p friendly and supercell is a business company they cant always give players opportunities like that, and i mean the challenge is monthly its not like you're not gonna benefit from rewards ever again. but now i hope they prioritize clubs like cmon they said a month ago that its not their priotization like why? okay we got good content for this update but i think the game now needs club improvements for the next upcoming updates and i wouldnt mind if they focus 90% on it in the next couple updates because we got some content we can enjoy for a while.

I think both players should be able to add teammate. The leader sometimes don’t get that I want a full team. Also. (This is a concept), I want to be able to click on specific teammates and give personal feedback (that there also isn’t). A few things I’d like to say is defend, attack, stay back, be up top, And also brawler categories like tank, support, carrier. I want a big change to random teams.

You know why i dont use the feature for two reasons first of all my talking to people is trash and i get super nervous when someone enters

A few things: I completely agree with what you said about pre-made teams. Sometimes my friends and I just want to play a few chill games, but its so rigged... I calculated our average winrate to be 11%. We just want to have some fun together... not get completely obliterated by hard pushers. Takedown should probably have an 8 player limit, a duos version, and improved spawning, because I notice sometimes I just spawn on the other side of the map from where the boss is and can't get in any damage because I will die to someone with 10+ cubes and then spawn far away again. I think lone star is fine, but its not as enjoyable as other modes, such as brawl ball. Letting players use an in-game currency to have another attempt at the monthly challenge you mentioned would really only be beneficial to Supercell, because you would get a large influx of players with a lot of money and not much skill. The mode should probably only be for the absolute best in the business. This is unrelated but I think the following store/drop changes should be made: Coin drops should be much more frequent. Star powers should have their drop chance improved by 0.5% Legendary drop chance should be improved by ~0.01% You should be able to trade in a large amount of coins for a small amount of tickets or gems. Gem and Ticket drop rates are decreased slightly.

I do get what you mean when you say the tournaments aren’t the way you had hoped, and I agree with most of what you said except for one thing: trying again for gems. Supercell isn’t trying to filter out the people with the most money to spend; they’re trying to find the best players. If it was possible to try again for gems, big youtubers or people with a lot of money to spend would come out on top because of how many chances they got, while the free-to-play players would only get one chance. Again, I do see your point of view. It’s a great opportunity for supercell to make money, and it’s easy to screw up, especially in competitive modes. But yet again, that’s kind of part of the challenge. You have to be able to adapt quickly and plan out your next move, not retry again and again until you get a lucky strike. Also, great video, I think I speak for everyone when I say I really love your videos and appreciate everything you do for us.

I would like that there was a phrase for “searching for another player” in the player search function

Sometimes ppl in Look for a team thing are so mean,i join them and they ask me to pick my 20 rank brawlers(Crow,Bull,Shelly,Primo etc.) while they use their 10 rank Rosa,and all what they do is spin in circle and die in poison.Then they send an angry face and leave.

I miss the showdown maps so much! I played Feast or Famine and Double Trouble since I got the game and loved them!

I don’t really like the find my team feature because yes it takes a really long time to find a teamate(s) and when I do find one after sitting for 10 mins they just kick me for no reason. What the heck, it happens way too often. They also spam requests for me to play a specific brawler and if I don’t chose it then I get kicked. It’s not the system, it’s the people.

I had a problem with the find a team feature because I was playing power play, and when I was finding a team I only had 2/3 games left. I played two games with my team, but there was no feature where I could tell them that I didn't have any more power play games. I ended up having to leave the team even tho it was a pretty good team.

Another QoL update that I really, really, reaaally want is an "avoid as teammate" option. Ive had countless times of encountering low rank players, throwers, and/or afks in my time playing Brawl Stars. I see no harm having this feature in the game, in fact, I'm sure it will be more satisfying to beat those players who are now on the other team once you avoided them. Idk lol. Overwatch has this in theirs and i reckon their system can quite fit in a game like brawl stars.

My idea for present plunder is flags like you said, however, you need your own flag at your base to make a goal.

@KairosTime One thing I dont like about the Championship Tournament is that everyone can play with whoever they want, so you can be playing with someone who is just starting the game because you can choose any brawler and any star power, no matter the trophy level.

The ship tilt when I first experienced it actually messed with my brain. I was disoriented super bad. I was fighting poco and I had to run away cas my mind was trying to figure out what happend and then I noticed that we were on a boat and it had moved. EPIC

Even though i dont get dizzy about moving stuff or anything to do with that,i still hate the pirate maps that tilt every 5 seconds just 'cause it's so hard to control your brawler and just hard to aim. I agree on kairos about maybe make the tilt less steep or change the tilt time to a higher one. I hope they fix this

i feel like there is another factor which contributes to why it takes so long to find a team, which is that players do not know about the feature. i say this because even right after the update launch, when not many players have experienced the unfair matchmaking yet, it was already taking ages to find a team.
