I'm guessing the nylon versions were for a more breathable lightweight skate shoe, similar to canvas models. I would definitely go for the all suede

The music is from Superfly (the 1972 original blaxploitation film) soundtrack. Entirely composed by Curtis Mayfield. The song plays at the very beginning of the film. The chase scene.

this shoe has no resistance. Just 100 heelflips and start to tear apart. I two weeks of skating they would be shit. They design is amazing though.

Drives me nuts when skate shoes have canvas or nylon anywhere around the ollie or toe area, and this is exactly why. Makes absolutely no sense from a design perspective.
