@@BlueHopi144 Hardly. I just think it’s funny how all of sudden Kenya is blasting onto the track world stage at nearly every event and running times that are very rare.. while at the same time.. Kenya keeps going up and up every year with positive dope test.. but then there are still Africans in denial that these performances are questionable.. despite the multitudes of evidence that Kenya isn’t a clean program. They’ve had 2-3 times as many people get caught for doping in the last 5-10 years as the next 4-5 countries put together.. no one representing Kenya is clean. They’re just the best at hiding their ped use. That or they have generous sponsors that will pay to make failed test go away. Every organization that governs track at the international level is corrupt and for sale to the highest bider.

Roughly converts to 9.90 (0.0) at sea level which is an improvement on his 9.98 (1.2) sea level SB. Has run more 9.9s at sea level than 9.8s (just twice), so still needs to run 9.8 or quicker after rounds in a Global Champs! Emmanuel Wanyonyi (1.41.70) & Faith Kipyegon (3.53.98) at altitude were relatively more impressive at the Kenyan Trials & Mary Moraa pacing 18yr old sister Sarah to 3rd place in the 800m was cool to watch :) 11yr old Gunner Hammett just ran a 2.00.69 800m WU12 WR @NB Outdoor Nationals, same meet where 18yr old Christian Miller ran 9.95 (1.2) in the 100m semi.

Nostradamus thanks forthr Kenyon TV recommended. I am subscribed prior to your recommendation. And remember crawling, walking, running, and breathing are the absolute foundation of life. The better athletics are better we all are. Think of athletics as life long pace setters. 9.79 that is great paces now set for Paris. At least three runners will hit 9.8 in Paris. I want the whole field to run 9.85 or under. I want to see the swiftest field in history run. The over all field speed tells us where sports medical and research is at any given point. The guy who get to the line first gets gold but unless the whole field cross the line with him or her it is only a statistical outlier. Whole field 9.85 or under. When you guys are in the blocks in Paris turn to the guys on your left and right and demand at least a 9.85 and that everyone run though the finish line. Each runner owes that to himself. And Nostradamus is looking at fields not green pastures where GOATs eat green grass.

High altitude times are always suspect. Nairobi, Kenya (5889 ft.) is over a mile above sea level so that's always going to be conducive running good times. It looks good on paper... but lets not forget, Omanyala just ran in Jamaica 2 weeks ago and came third behind Oblique Seville and Noah Lyles. Running fast times always looks good, but what really matters is how do you run against the best in the head-to-head matchups. That's what counts Omanyala has yet to prove he can beat the best in the world when it really counts.

If he will stay focus to execute correctly, he will become the first African 100M Olympic Gold Medal in history, talent and work is there! 9.75 my prediction

From what I've seen so far I gotta go with Lyles in Paris. Christian Coleman and Fred Kerley need to step it up.

On both of his sub 9.8s his physique was slim opposed to his usual muscular physique. Could be the sun. It cooks over there in Africa.

Is it harder to run at sea lev or high altitude

He only runs fast in Kenya and he fumbles when it matters

9.79? That's awesome! I know it was at altitude, but he needs to run consistently under 9.90s in a place not at altitude

This time doesn’t seem to be acknowledged by World Athletics as the WL yet?

It doesn't matter how good times they get at home in Kenya at high altitude, as long as they get beaten in man-to-man duels where the runners have the same conditions

poised. promising, provided he doesn't freeze on bigger stages. a great potential. i think Omanyala NEEDS a MOTIVATIONAL COACH.

Omanyala runs insanely fast at home in Kenya. If only he could do so elsewhere.

9.79 is Ben Johnson's time. Even the pull out guy ran the same time at the Tokyo Olympics.

I wonder if Omanyala, who seems to be a very fine falla, and his coach's strategy will really bring about success. He's at altitude and that is affecting his attitude. I don't mean to be rude but believing his best form will come about after so much rest only with time can attest.

Isn't it he reaching his peak a little too early yet again? Because the 100m final will be today in exactly 7 weeks (almost 2 months).. So I wonder if he can go significantly lower than 9.79 or even hold that time up until the finals in August?🤔

It'll be historic if he can break through the N.Americans. I think the last African to threaten was Fredricks of Namibia in the 90s. But he looks as fast as anyone this year, so far. He absolutely could be on that podium.
