I think what everyone is forgetting is that the next time Fred touches the 100 it'll be a world record. So... I have Kerley 9.55, lyles 9.8, Coleman 9.82
Noah, Kenny & Lindsey will all be ready to go @Trials, BIG question is what shape is Knighton in as he literally hasn't raced in MONTHS?! Depending on Knighton's fitness, the other 3 could legit be the 100/200m Teams as Kerley & Coleman haven't looked convincing this yr! Rooting HARD for teenagers Christian Miller & Quincy Wilson to make their respective 100/400m Finals!
Coleman has ran 9.95 at the pre classic and it was only 60 degrees. Pretty chilly for sprinters if it gets warmer this weekend he should be in 9.8 shape. Kerley on the other hand hasn't broken 10 at all this season.
@@jamezkpal2361 And that would be just fine! Getting to go to Paris & run even just the semi of one or both of the M4x4 & Mixed 4x4 will be great experience for the 16yr old!
Very rational predictions. I think that Kerley's attitude puts a lot of destructive pressure on him. If you are truly so self-confidant, why do you have the need to express it over and over again? Prediction: 1) Lyles; 2) Kenny B; 3) Miller.
@@aodoemela Yes, he shouldn't be, but my prediction is somewhat emotional, and I was also very impressed with his mentality, attitude and body language in competitions and on training sessions. I watched all the relevant footage. He is special, not only as a future prospect.
I got Coleman, Noah and Kenny making the 100m team. Kenny looks in fantastic shape and looks fit enough to make both teams this year (100m and 200m). This means Fred doesn't make the team in my opinion. Actually I don't have Fred on the 200m team either but he could prove me wrong! Best of luck to all the guys competing for their dream to make it to the Olympics. It's not our opinion that matters. It's all up to them. Good luck!🙏🏾
Pure delusion here Noah Lyles 9.41 Fred Kerley 9.49 Christian Coleman 9.57 Kenny Bednarek 9.62 Courtney Lindsey 9.64 Ronnie Baker 9.67 Trayvon Bromell actually runs and goes 9.68 Christian Miller runs 9.72
For some reason the past three olympic trials were won in 9.80 so I will assume the same trend haha. 1.Noah 9.80 2.Coleman 9.88 3.Kenny 9.89 It could be a different order but that is the three I have right now. Alternates for that top 3 are Kerley or PJ Austin
Why is everyone so down on Kerley? If he’s fit and race sharp, he makes the team. Lyles and Coleman must be favourites though. Kenny has a shot given his current form. Those four are the favourites as Anderson suggests.
Christian, Noah, and Fred are my top three americans. Yes, I’m happy you agree with me Christian is showing great promise…I think he could pull the upset big time in Paris! Also, Noah is planning to do something insane in the 100M…I truly think he can go 9.6X this year if he has the right conditions and timing. Kerley is third based upon what we have seen in the past, but he’s gonna need Nike shoes to pull this off. To be continued.
CC won worlds 2019 (i.e. within 5yrs), he was co-WL last year, and has the top 5 fastest US 100m times this year. What other US athlete has those stats to be co-favorite?
I’m not seeing Fred Kurley running any world record. Furthermore, he wouldn’t even be close running out of the US. Noah Nyles is more of a raw talent better than the rest of the US athletes and we know that Coleman is coming off a Bann therefore the rest of the world has a X beside his name…
The 100m is always a crap shoot. Noah is a poor starter which makes him vulnerable, but he is the class of the 200m. So, one never knows about the 100m as there may be a surprise or two. Guess we will see.
1. Noah Lyles 9.80 2. Kenny Bednarek 9.82 3. Christain Coleman 9.89 I actually chose 9.80 as the winning time, because of an interesting fact. Every Olympic trials since 2012 has been won with a 9.80. Justin Gatlin ran 9.80 in 2012 Justin Gatlin did it again in 2016 Then Trayvon ran it to win 2021
Also, if go back when Tyson Gay won the trials in 2008, he did run 9.68 albeit wind aided. The 2004 trial was the last time that the winning time was not under 9.90s when Mo Greene won at 9.91s to Justin Gatlin 9.92 and Shawn Crawford 9.93s
100m 1.Noah Lyles 9.81 2.Christian Coleman 9.88 3.Fred Kerly 9.92 4.Kenny Bednarek 9.94 200m 1.Noah Lyles 19.51 2.Erriyon Knighton 19.65 3.Kenny Bednarek 19.67 4.Courtney Lindsey 19.72 Just my predictions let me know what you guys think? From what I know Noah lyles has a buy meaning they might pick top 4
I hate to count out Kerley but I just don't see it this year. He hasn't been the same since his season-ending injury in 2022. Then the coaching change, antics with the DQ and sponsor at his last event makes me feel like he's not in the right mental space probably because he knows his training hasn't been going the way he wants.
@MrHurdleking24 what do you mean?! It was an illegal wind therefore the time cannot be considered as a SB/PB World Atheltics, USATF, the IOC and any other organization over T&F...
