A short film adaptation of "100 Tula Para kay Stella" we made for a short film festival by our college filmmaking org.
Personal Thoughts: As of the short film's upload, I still haven't watched the original film, either because I don't like romance films all that much or that it has a low average on Letterboxd (lol).
I would consider this as my second proper short film that I was involved in (the first being an anti-drug PSA made during my first year in college). I quite enjoyed making this as I shot most of the scenes here (except for the ones toward the end). We used the main actor's Canon EOS 3000D with a 50mm prime lens for most of the shots, a Nikon DSLR with a 20-70mm zoom lens, and my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for two scenes. We actually cut an entire scene here due to time constraints, but I will try to re-edit them in when I have the time. We shot the film with no proper sound recorder so almost all of the scenes here are dubbed à la 70s Italian films.
This is also the first proper short film I edited (with Da Vinci Resolve). I also graded it on Resolve but since I don't really know how to grade footage, I kept it to a minimum. It's an eh job but whatever.
However, we won the following awards in the film festival: Best Film, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Musical Score, Highest Social Media Interaction, People's Choice Award, Best Actor for Marc Romero (as Fidel Lansangan), Best Actress for Ana Patricia Ricafrente (as Stella Puno) [tied with another actress], and Best Supporting Actor for John Menard Lacida (as Von).
