The upcoming generation wants communism and I think they will succeed after we are all gone. We old people can only hold the line for so long. As a Gen Z, Whenever I see a veteran, I shake his or her hand and say “Thank you for your service” I’m very disappointed in the way our world has become, and don’t realize why they even came into existence.
As a Gen Z who has since enlisted in the Marines, and wears the same dress blues as this late Sgt, I can tell you that the burden of responsibility of defending our core values as a nation is all the more stressful. Especially considering most of my peers wouldn't give a rat's ass about what me and my brothers and superiors are doing to keep our communities and our families (all of which we've left behind to serve) safe against our adversaries foreign and domestic. Well, I hope they all sleep peacefully tonight as they enjoy their parents and their siblings, and go to their friends homes and drive around their nice neighborhoods and go to Church every Sunday. All of those things are privileges that me and my fellow servicemen have given up... and work everyday to defend while away from home. I'm happy that at least there are some in my generation who still give a damn about the men who I am now humbled to say I walk beside in this hallowed service. For our Nation. For each other. @gjaegreag You really think that the generations of WW2 faced the same upbringings, had the same opinions and mentalities, and the same problems of today? You don’t think that social media and the internet as a whole has changed or degraded our new generations’ attention spans or thought processes? Because I agree with the age old phrase, “Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times.” There’s no question that this generation had a comfier, more catered, and less challenging upbringing with a more pampered childhood. That’s the result of having such a good country that those men who died in WW2 to protect. Had they not done so, Germany probably would have won and we would be living in a much shittier environment. Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: 8 “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’[c]” 10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” 12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” 13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides.[d] If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” 15 Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.” 16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

That's the problem, media like Benny pushing divisive politics to aid their own agenda. Pointing at "the marxists" rather than acknowledging both sides have issues is part of the problem. That Marxists quote was a cheap shot. And in the last few decades, the vast majority of terror attacks in America have been carried out by right wing white nationalists with guns, so if your argument is "well we have to start with one group" then Marxists make no logical sense being the group with which to start. But even then, why only start with one group.
