technically drag has been around a lot longer than 100 years. William Shakespeare would cast young boys to play the female roles in plays.

Yes. Even in the old japanese Kabuki Theaters used men to play women bc they werent allowed to be up in theaters if it remember correctly :) In the Japanese war times, men also often dressed up as women ,so they hadn't have to serve in the military. This whole thing ofc goes far deeper . But it gained this type of popularity in the early 90's with RuPaul. Correct me if im wrong but that's my take on this whole thing. :)

y''all are beautiful and i would love to see a dragqueen show. i love people who are themselves despite other peoples opinions. i have discovered drag on the last few years and i think its fantastic! i am a woman though and i myself arent really into wearing makeup and all that but i cant help but love seeing people who are able to be this beautiful and free spirited. if i one day get a son and he wants to do drag i would encourage him to do so! keep being who you are guys!
