My first real bad experience with them was gen 1. Every experience prior was great. I started swamp biome on gen 1, tamed a moschops and thought I was set. But then…there was a kapro, and I forgot moschops just run away instead of fighting when not mounted…. RIP me… A few years later he’s still out there alive somehow, but I don’t know where 😂
Thank you! I didn't know about the moschops regurgitate. On PC it is right-click. and I just used it to turn 1 poly into 3! Also, very interesting to see the pela do good with hatched babies. I had also found that everything else sucks at harvesting hatched babies. But I did very good killing wild babies. Is that an ark thing? or was I just using my pela for the wild babies without realizing? I think it's an ark thing. It would be great if you could test that because in my experience hatching 50 eggs was a waste of time and resource when I can just go kill wild pens. (for example, I just now hatched 5 eggs, killing 6 babies, and only got 1 poly from it! I've also tried letting them grow up to adolesent but it didn't help. I only get good poly if I let them mature to adults. However, in the wild, babies give way better than adults) My next time I need poly, I will try bringing my moschops to regurgitate wild pens I also didn't think about the metal arrows. That will be a good way to save penguins lives.
Wow thank you so much for that detailed response and responding to the end of video prompt 😂 I came up with the idea for this video about a week ago. During the process of making it, I had watched so many other videos, did a whole bunch of reading online, and did testing….so when I made this guide I thought I was truly covering everything, and yet you bring up an excellent point that I hadn’t even considered. I have noticed that as well. I should have tested wild babies versus hatched egg babies in the video. That’s an excellent call out. So full adults with the moschops and wild babies with the pelagornis. #savepenguinlives
On PC it is right click as mentioned, however some amplifying information is that I had to consume the corpse with right click to get the regurgitate bonus. Watching the resource ticker when I eat the corpse via right click, it will show the meat and polymer, etc. then the polymer will get additional tick thus increasing the amount from that one corpse. Def a handy feature to increase polymer gains.
