For larger boats “outdrives” aren’t much of an option especially if they stay in the water.

Thankyou!!! But now I am at a loss...I have a sailboat with a Perkins 4.107M Westerbeck and a Paragon P33 V drive and lots of trouble 😢 I was thinking on getting Velvet Drive with a V drive...what can I do? Thankyou again!!!

In most cases there isn't anything else that fixing the engine room. V-drives offered boat builder a space saving alternative.

I've worked hundreds of this style of transmission. How many have owned? I have sold thousands of 1004 and 1005 V-drives to customers over my forty years in the Marine Transmission business. I wish you the best on your boating days.
