Breaking can either ruin your week or be a quick snap together fix. Im in the postion where i NEED another fifth scale...my question is Broseph.. Would you buy a new XRT or XMaxx if you can start from scratch,i build up electronics after they fail eventually lmao, I have my kraton 8 exb fully hooked up.i dont bash as big as You but i really lose sleep over it.ive been contemplating used but in florida here used 800 minimum
Yessir usually I end up breaking and being bummed for a week 😭 TBH I’ve never drove the XRT but I’ve seen my buddies and from all the videos I’ve watched + RC experience in general personally I wouldn’t trade my Xmaxx for the XRT. BUT I wouldn’t mind switching my Outcast over to the Kraton platform because I’m now on 12s and the Kraton would be much more stable. With that being said my Xmaxx has really been a massive hair puller trying to get right and I feel like it’s just about there now. Looking at my friends XRT it seems to cause him even more stress. Whichever you get be ready to get your work cur out for you making it tough enough to thrash, but once it’s right I feel like it’s one top dog in just all around fun factor. It’s an absolute blast to drive🤙🤙🤙
it really depends on whether or not you prefer truggies or not. Personally I'm a truggy person and I own both arrma 8s and both traxxas 8s rigs and I'd pick the XRT over the xmaxx every single time. I'd go as far as to say the xmaxx is my least favorite because it's the farthest from a truggy. Doesn't fly as nice, doesn't handle as nice it doesn't do anything better than any of my other 3 rigs except look goofy. Now I sound like an xmaxx hater but its' really just personal preference. You have to ask yourself what you would rather be doing with your rig.
Nice bash what are your favorite tires for the xmaxx i noticed you tried the proline badlands but now are running arma backflips im debating between the two for my xmaxx would appreciate your opinion on which ones youlike best and why 👍
Hey Brotha, I def prefer the MX57 on the Xmaxx I switched over to the backflips because I had to throw on the badlands on my 12s Outcast. The Backflips would have no chance on 12s power imo, so it was pretty much forced on me 🤣 I felt like the badlands were superior on the xmaxx for running straight into the ramp on the rough terrain as where the backflips slip and slide alot more (which some people prefer). The air control seemed similar on both, but obviously proline tires are going to be heavier in general. I’m eventually going to buy different tires for the Xmaxx but I’m deciding trying between the MX43 and Trenchers 🤙 hope this helps!
