As the Wildlife Crossing project enters a new phase, the 101 Freeway will be closed in the Agoura Hills area for several hours every week night. NBC Los Angeles’ Tracey Leong reports.
Wonderful ! There's a Wildlife Crossing up in Santa Cruz County that's BELOW Highway 🛣️ 17 which Mountain Lions 🦁 and other Wildlife have been seen utilizing. It works GREATLY ! Thank You 👏👏, Ms. Wallis Annenberg ! SoCal 🌞🌄⛱️🌅🌇🏜️😎, Baby🍼👶!!!
I've been to the Woodrow Wilson bridge going to different states near my MGM grand property and DC area and it has also a nice trail area and some type of bunker and chp types there. The plexiglass works wonders for the noise pollution. Very many embassy near and st Mary cemetery and global salvation army HQ.
Will the City put up Signs so that ANIMALS know this is their Safe Path This Passage Corridor is very important for Animals! Families that eats together stays together so it's crucial we don't separate Animal Families Should come up with Corridor Signs similar to San Diego freeways where a Man/Woman holding a Child's hand fleeing ✌✌
Just watch once it's built...There's gonna be people camping there or interfering with animals trying to cross...Or the new norm, taking selfies...JUST WATCH...
$100 million for this project, primarily from donors who don't live anywhere near this bridge. It's being built on a curve and driving south on the 101 freeway is a potential disaster; drivers are having trouble remaining in their lanes. I've almost been side-swiped at least six times. I hope the animals will be furnished with GPS devices so they can locate this bridge. I can only imagine how many animals will be killed by other, more dominant animals as they enter and how many carcasses will pile up on the bridgr and leave disgusting odors for its neighbors. Mr. Skunk, here comes Mr. Coyote. For $100 million, every mountain lion could have their own condo with cable, air cond. and free pizza delivery. Yeah, great idea.
