1025R Lifts HUGE wall!!! DIY Boom. 

Nothing on earth can stop the clay..... lol. Every house in the Panhandle has foundation movment.... Well it such a tight space with a ton of concrete. It basically is its own footer. If it were a wide space I would be more worried. Additionally if this was an outside wall subject to the sun and rain I wouldn't have done it without mixing sand i to the soil. But it won't have extreme swings of moisture being in the middle of the building with our low water table.

Im 6'5 and there will be a hydraulic lift that takes up the floor beneath my feet so the total hole depth is over 7ft.

@@ThinkBuildTest Think back to when you first dug down. Could you grab a handful of dirt, squeeze it and make a ball out of it?

@@jagboy69 depends on the depth lol. There is definitely clay.

@@ThinkBuildTest well, the moisture will return. I ran soil tests and I'm around 15% expansion. And that was at the back of the garage 18feet from the nearest exterior wall. That calls for a different game plan. No more concrete walls for me. I figure if there is no clay to push against a wall, it can't push in. So removing soil behind my walls is the answer. I'm going with 40 steel I beams to support the surrounding floor. Stay tuned!
