Here's a really cool fact about Pac-Man: While Pac was at one point considered to be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he almost didn't make into 3DS/Wii U either. Since Bandai Namco was helping develop the fourth Smash Bros. title, they wanted to use the Ghostly Adventures style of Pac-Man in order to help promote the TV series. However, Masahiro Sakurai disapproved of this idea, because he had a feeling that it wouldn't go over well with a lot of the fans. Sakurai instead proposed the idea to use the Pac-Man model from the Pac-Man World series, released on GameCube and Nintendo DS. Sakurai even went so far as to say he wouldn't include Pac-Man in the game if the team refused to use the Pac-Man World design. Well played, Sakurai.

Well, at least he made it in Ultimate however. He even got some unique moves such as turning himself into a 3D version of his arcade self and even throwing pixelated items from Namco (don't forget the taunts).

I remember using the term "power pellets" before the cartoon aired, a lot of people did. I think the cartoon got the idea from pop culture. Also, they were definitely referred to as ghosts before the Atari cartridge came out. Those terms were never officially used in the arcade attract mode, but they were both definitely commonly used.

Guys it`s Street Fighter X (cross) Tekken. And the character he `pilots` is a Tekken character called Mokujin (Moku - tree, Jin-man), not a mech . I liked the video, just please be careful about these things, after all, gamers are your biggest audience. Wish you all the best!

There used to be a Pacman pizza place in Orlando. They would take a slice off the pizza before serving it so it would be shaped like Pacman and it also had an arcade as well as a small Pacman museum inside the restaurant. It went out of business years ago (along with the COOLEST FAO Schwartz in the world where they'd have MASSIVE statues of famous toys such as Tops, Teddybears, and Barbie shoes you can lay in outside the store.) but at least I have the memories! (And the pictures, lots and lots of pictures)

Fact #48 is incorrect. Pinky's goal tile is '4' tiles (not 2) in front of the player, except when going up, where the goal tile is 4 *up* and 4 *left* of the player (due to an overflow bug). Also, *LOVE* the fact that you are showing the label of my Atari 7800 port of Crazy Otto for fact #85 :D

1:13 A little correction: This wasn't actually the original title - in fact it's a spanish translation of the original Pac-Man. The original title was Puck-Man too in Japan but was changed to Pac-Man when hitting USA so they could avoid vandalism, as later stated in the video.

You can find Pacman and the ghostly adventures on Netflix now but there are only two seasons. I think they shut it down and the end of s2 and I've watched all the episodes and they left season 2 with a cliffhanger! T^T

You forgot about the two "s channels" above the ghosts' box. The ghosts NEVER enter those two channels from the south. So if you're near the ghosts' box and you're being chased, hightail it above the box and jump into one of the "s channels" and the ghosts will go right on by underneath you.

I still have a pac-man watch I just had to go and look at it, its still in perfect condition (battery dead ) yes its a Nelsonic i got at a garage sale for a quarter back when i got it about 30 years ago, when i wanted to play it i had to pull the battery and charge it briefly with a old cellphone charger, it would play for a day or so and die each time i charged it, i wonder if its worth anything, ???? i also have that pac-man pinball machine on m.a.m.e, yes it is pretty fun , Every time you complete the center maze you win another free game ! I just looked up this watch on the internet and someone was selling one for 150 $ but I guess people are getting up to 300 or more WOW, its worth money, lol, of course I had to open it up to check and see if the battery was leaking acid but it was not, it was in perfect shape just dead of course !

Here is some more: 1. There are actually FIVE Ghost Monsters: Inky, Pinky, Blinky, Clyde and Sue. 2. Pinky was originally MALE! They didn't change Him/her to female until later on. 3. Pac-Mania was originally one of the worlds first 3D games. 4. The game Pac-Land was based on the cartoon. 5. They changed the names of a couple of Ghost around. Blinky and Clyde swapped around. 6. Sue is originally from Ms Pac-Man.
