What's amazing to see is no matter what level it is, we all play differently when we think we have won. At 40-15, missed a 1st serve and then a rather easy FH. 40-30, again 1st serve missed, tried to finish the point early by rushing to the net (I don't think you came to the net once before that) and missed the volley. Interestingly, your opponent started returning better because he probably thought the set is over and played freely. All said, that down the line BH at 5-4 Ad-out was beautiful. Didn't see that coming. Neither did your opponent!
Yeah it was a nerve racking game, it did not go my way for sure for those 2 points but i still think if i was a 5.0 player i would have lost that game. At higher level people are still able to bounce back, concentrate and follow through
This is just baseline violence my GOODNESS. Y'all are ripping those forehands! Great match! You weren't kidding about the quality in that last game. High-intensity rallies in there!
Thanks Andrey! Great set :) it’s good to see the emotion from both of you. I liked how you tried to incorporate more angles like you said. At the end, I could see you targeting orange’s backhand. Good hitting as always!
Intense match! I enjoyed it alot. Although I think your audio was off-sync with the video, maybe a few millisecond adjustment would make this video perfect. It's rare to see a Swingvision video that doesn't have terrible resolution like this!
I enjoyed watching that - Nedim really picked up his level towards the end there. It was a tough battle. I'd be interested to see how you'd go against someone like Karue Sell. Not sure how realistic it would be to set up such a match - we've seen him demolish 4.5 player like Winston Ho, just by being solid, but I suspect that wouldn't work as well against you so would be interesting to see the dynamic there.
I think on your forehand, you drop your right shoulder too early and don't rotate enough on your takeback. You end up hitting lots of spin, but not hitting through it enough. Check out Djok for a great example of keeping shoulders more level. Backhand and serve are awesome ! Quality tennis!
That last game is unbelievable!! 😮 Super high quality match from both players. Just came across your page and have seen your name in many Futures! Hope I never play you
These guys are both such heavy hitters. Very impressive. Here's a question for you Andrey, how would a 55 year old ex-ATP pro play you guys? Obviously he wouldn't be running around as much and have as much power but I'm guessing they would still be more or less at the same level. Thanks!
Interesting question. I know a guy who is 50+ years old and won French Open in Doubles as well as made it to the quarters or something. He lives in my city and i never have enough time to record a match against him :)
Hi there! Unfortunately i dont do lessons because i barely have enough time to train because of regular job :) But thanks a lot for reaching out! Make sure to check out local clubs like RTC, Pro Club and Woodinville. I will likely be hitting at Pro Club over the winter and know some good coaches there. Let me know if you need a recommendation
Holy crap you guys are good this is basically a small step away from ATP level the only major difference I can see between you guys and touring professionals is the consistency of the serve and variety in shots.
Здравствуйте, на данный момент использую Fujifilm XT-3, обычно с 18мм 1.4 линзой но в этот раз немного другая линза. Думаю в следующий раз вообще на айфон попробовать записать
Ha! Not something i do unfortunately:)) maybe in the future when i have bunch of followers i will do some kind of live session where i answer questions and what not
@@andreysmirnov7461 Haha all good, well I'll be your first customer if you ever decide to give it a shot. I find it helps just videoing yourself playing and comparing to videos like yours. Hard to see what you're doing right or wrong without a 3rd person perspective.
I think it is a bit lower than it should be. I only played like 2 tournaments and never really play any UTR events. Hope if i win a couple of matches at 15k futures, that will raise it up a bit
@@DanTuber I think 4.5 looks weak on camera cause cameras have a weird way of making things look way less impressive/ slowed down but seeing 4.5 players irl they're actually very good
Huge difference I've noticed between the top pro players and club players, is the willingness to take risk and believe in their ability to do it. Matches like this are hard to watch, because it seems like both players just want to rally... waiting for their opponent to make a mistake.
I think your kinetic chain is a bit off sync, so you are unable to initiate the racket lag correctly. This was seem especially at 10:27 where you hit very tight forehand (leg drive was too late and it became a push shot) You need to use more power from your muscles to generate the speed. Also I can't see much racket lag in your backhand but it's mostly muscIed through. I wonder how crazy hard you would hit if you were able to generate more lag. :) Your videos are enjoyable to watch, altho this time there were some audio problems. Thank you and I will be back to watch next videos!
I believe you are correct; also on the forehand side, there is a lot of upward brushing motion with takes away from power, when in some proper situations, with the right racket preparation, he should really be able to pull back with racket lag and rip it. Just meant to be constructive criticism, as obviously still a very good player!
Мэн, в информации написано: ".. if i can become good enough to get 1 ATP point."
I like to watch these kinds of matches but your commentary throughout ruined it I couldn’t get past the first few minutes it looked like a good match but I’ll never know
